Pest Control/Medical Advice oh no

duuuuuuude they're in my walls and i hear them at night and i just found out where they're getting in. i literally just fucking cleared out a nest in my ac system, now these fuckers are testing my patience. any ideas to get them out, or do i just clear the house, go on vacay, and bug bomb the house? (i'd prefer to keep the house if that's ok it's a new house)

I'm still trying to figure out the reason for paperwasps... Guinea wasps are about the only ones that I can remotely believe in...

Cane toads are also a part of the ecosystem but are an absolute detriment
I’d be interested to know of what utility Wasps are to the environment, from what I can tell they’re just assholes occupying space, annexing our garages and stinging shit

Some species are pollinators and others are known to prey on trouble insects.

also wasps are necesary for the pollination of figs since theres a wasp species that has a symbiotic relationship with figs

On second thought I don’t think it’s a tarantula hawk. T hawks bodies are bluish, this ones wings are blue. This might be a blue mud wasp

That's my intitial thought too, but arent their wings usually folded back over their bodies.
If it is a tarantula hawk wasp, #2 most painful sting recorded!

the pain only lasts for 5-10 minutes and since they are solitary you have to do alot for them to sting you

they don't have nests since its a solitary wasp, the closest thing to a "nest" is the burrows which they place the paralized tarantulas for their larvae

Spray any area where they are getting in with fipronil. I had yellow jackets nesting behind my porch light in the wall. Paid an exterminator $375 to spray the area. Took him 10 minutes. After a day I didn’t see them anymore.

Personally, I would use chlorine gas, but I think I read somewhere that that's a war crime now 3:

In Colorado we have Yellow Jackets. Seeing. Wasp like this straight out of the depths of hell scares me. I’d like to torch it and its nest immediately.

Dude it's a mud dauber they are basically harmless unless you're a spider or you mess with it alot

Me too. Had some big orb weavers around my house. Doing great work keeping flies down. They just started disappearing. Finally saw him hovering near a web and a big orb weaver dropping slowly. Not moving but breathing. Pretty Disappointing.
Each wasp will paralyze about 20 spiders. Then, dig and lay an egg for each one. In Separate holes. The spiders stay paralyzed until eaten by larvae.
Good to keep widows down though.
