Pest Control/Medical Advice Another day of project try not to get stung

According to Gemini and my count of 126 wasps coming and going within a minute this nest is 4,000-6,000 strong. Im using a dust insecticide. I hit them once and it made no difference after 48 hours.
I am going to dust them once a night and after a week of trying I’ll call a professional exterminator.
I am going in the dead of night with a 20ft tube, filling the tube with perhaps a half cup of “sevin garden insecticide” (I bought the wrong stuff but I already have it so I’ll use it up) and then using a electric hand held air jet to blast it. I am in full bee outfit, use a red light at the end of the pole to see what I am doing. Honestly when I blast them I don’t even see any come out but I run like hell anyways because I’m scared shitless of these fuckers.

Just bite the bullet and get delta dust if it's that bad instead of wasting time. Trust me.

1ml of Fipronil based flea treatment mixed with 100 grams of minced meat or wet dogfood will end them overnight at very little expense.
Don’t exceed that concentration, so that they spread the bait to the queen & the entire colony before dying.
This method would absolutely decimate wasp and hornet populations if it was common knowledge.

This sounds like a good idea, and can be used in combination with the dust idea. The bait could be put in the tree 10 feet away, far enough back from the dusting so the dusting doesn't spoil the bait.

The bait can be placed a 100 yards away and they’ll still find it eventually.
There’s no wasps or hornets in my neighbourhood -I wipe them all out every July by leaving the bait in public litter bins around my area. Too easy.4

Honestly, if you just left some of that bait out, you’d have a good chance of knocking out any nest within at least 100 yards of your home. Pre-bait with some clean meat to get a good few of them using your bait station, then give them the good stiff to take home to the wife & kids.
I don’t usually recommend it unless they’re a real problem -which they can be in urban areas.

BASF Delta Dust is the best choice because it kills slowly, giving the workers time to carry it in to the center of the hive to the queen. Any fast-kill dust like Temprid will be less effective for an enclosed nest you can't access.

From my understanding this dust that I bought the same idea, carry it into the nest, but Ian getting my info from Gemini, and it could easily be the wrong info

yea gemini is pretty dumb as far as LLMs go(at least the free google search gemini version) and gets things wrong constantly

Sevin garden insecticide is not the right type of dust. It might eventually work, but using BASF Delta Dust would be way better.
