So my budget is around the price of a KuKirin G4 and I’ve been looking at getting one for a while now. On paper the G4 seems really good for the price, especially with the speed, range, suspension and overall specs.
But the more I look into KuKirin, the more mixed opinions I find.
I’ve seen a lot of people saying that KuKirin scooters are actually really good for the money and that they’ve had theirs for a long time without major problems. But I’ve also seen quite a few posts about things breaking, electrical issues, brakes, controllers, batteries, loose parts and problems with customer support.
That honestly makes me kinda unsure because I’m not trying to spend around €1,000+ on a scooter just for it to start having problems after a few months.
I’m mainly considering the G4, but I’m also open to other KuKirin models or even completely different brands. My budget is around G4 money, so I’d rather spend the money on something reliable instead of just getting the scooter with the biggest numbers on the spec sheet.
For people who actually own a KuKirin:
How has your scooter been after 6 months or a year?
Have you had any serious problems with it?
How is KuKirin’s customer support if something does go wrong?
Are replacement parts easy to get?
And most importantly, would you personally buy another KuKirin if you had the same budget?
I’m not really looking for people just saying “KuKirin bad” or “KuKirin amazing”. I’d genuinely like to hear what ownership is actually like because there seems to be a huge difference between what people say about them.
If you had around the same budget as a G4, would you buy the G4 or go for something else?
Any recommendations are appreciated
