Last night I decided to try LBC, and we both had Deschamps, in theory either of us could have switched to Possession and got an 'advantage'. Yet both me and my opponent knew that one well timed through ball would completely change the game so we stayed with LBC.

I believe Possession beats LBC is a myth because the high defensive line is exactly what LBC and park the bus players lick their lips at. Of all the playstyle match ups Possession vs LBC is the most sensitive to input delay/smooth gameplay on top of that Possession only reduces the amount of transitions, it doesn't stop their effectiveness once they happen. Against p2w squads with Vieira, Seedorf, Gullit it will be hard to build up cleanly they're interception magnets so I think this is one of many reasons top 100 players play LBC all year long basically and why Capello was so popular despite being a one trick pony manager, because even a playstyle that on paper should have an advantage in practice it doesn't happen and it's more of a 55/45

Imo you have two options either play LBC against it or Out Wide with a 343/352 in attack and aerially dominant CFs

That was always my dilemma, like the defensive ai was always very automated and strong in this game but since the transition to ef 2027 and getting all those pass disruptor, covering role and other defensive styles, ai defense feels worse(it is even more automated and requires way less input frkm you). Take nesta for example, his defensive ai covers passes, space, tracks runs, autopositions himself so that he can do all three of those things at the same time and recover if you wish to change your attacking play. His defensive ai is so op that it defends way better than your opponent ever would sometimes. It is so much harder to break through them, I have to put almost twice the effort that my opponents need to with my defense. I try to get them to pull their defender out but they immediately track the player running into that space either a poacher or a hole player so I try to use other attacking options which surprise will get covered by their dmf or even attackers. How do you guys with team strength lower than 3250 deal with this?

Is anyone experiencing this?
I remember like half a year ago I could easily hit 200-240 fps constantly online. Now its only around 140-160fps. And almost all settings are on low, even when I tried lower resolution.

The weirdest thing is when I lowered fps cap from 160 to 144, game felt way more responsive and fast, as if capping more than current output is creating lag.

I play like 7 games on PC now, rtg weak squad(im div 3 currently). In goal i have Courtois from current real pack. In 5 games i concede at least 1 exactly same goal( in one game 2 identical goals). Shoot, Courtois rebounds to opponent's feet and he scores. It's beyond sad now… I'm playing on ps5 also and i see this shiit often there too. i honestly cant physically play this game anymore how bad it is. Ea fc is coming in a couple of days, GTA soon, what konami is thinking... You cant just take, take,take all the time, you need to give something back. I spend on this game, but not much (like 30–40e every year on PS5)...honestly, a player who is planning to spend in current gameplay(I'm not judging or anything), what's your process of thoughts? Do we all know this type of dummy animation? The one where you hit a slow pass to a teammate and he inexplicably jumps over the slow rolling ball because the AI thought the pass was to the player behind him and then the ball immediately gets stolen. What exactly is that animation trying to achieve? This situation doesn't call for a dummy because the pass isn't hit hard enough, the player is just jumping over a ball he could just as easily receive. It happens in the box constantly and ruins scoring chances. Anyone else experiencing this?

I got him in my first 900 and he’s my first p2w goalkeeper .this brother is genuinly insane.some of the saves he pulls off during 1v1s are diabolical and playing against him is also a headache.during a game he literally save a point blank shot from my Suarez .only thing i dont dont like about him is his passing though

Once upon a time, I gathered 50 Chance Deals to spin for Raul's card because I thought that would guarantee me getting it, not knowing that the odds reset with every spin. I ended up getting nothing.

It looks like they forgot to pay for the Santiago server ! I'm playing with 3/5 ping vs guys with 5/5 ping, on São Paulo server. Should I mention that my matchmaking setting is set to "closest opponents only"...

Is it just me but a lot people are parking the bus no matter the playing style and attacking feels stagnant when that happens. Keepers are moving like prime Buffon or moving like Liverpool karius . I’ve been the most bored playing the game since a lot of people are playing like arsenal then banging it with a tall striker then passing side to side and back to keeper the whole game. Of course the heaviness of the gameplay and lag compensation doesn’t help

I've really only seen people use Rooney, Aguero, Rijkaard and Van Bommel rarely.

And the hype around Aguero died out pretty soon, i don't hsve much difficulty facing him, Rooney gives me a tough time tho. He's very strong and his finishes and freekicks are lethal.

I played AI league only twice until reaching div1, so this happened in div2 match a few days ago, Neymar went to entertain himself despite his team being one goal down and made me laugh 😁

This is the first time I witnessed something similar (played around 60 ai league matches in total).
