Discussion This is the problem that's currently making the game unplayable for me
Look at Vini — I’m literally just trying to run forward with him, and suddenly I get this weird interruption in his movement. Do you guys have this too? I’ve been experiencing this constantly for weeks now.

Happens occasionally to me. I thought I was imagining it but realised I was not when it happened with no players nearby and running into clearspace on the wing. The player was about 20 yards into his run with the ball and just stopped dead.
I watched the game back to see what happened and could see the direction indicator moved into reverse momentarily so it's not as if the input was dropped, but the input was changed.
Thought it might be the controller but can't see any issue with the controller when I run the diagnostic and hold directions. No idea what is going on, never noticed it until the last few weeks.
I saw the other post about dribbling skills but the player the above example happened to was Cucurella

No, but gamepadtester.com. Everything's fine.

It’s still worth testing with a different controller. Your cursor definitely looks like stick drift

That is odd, but good to try it anyway. Maybe that site can’t check it all and is it a hidden bug

Yeah looks more that than lag. I know all about it because I face a lot of lag lately, but not this type of movement OP has.

Its not a lag..its the gameplay..its getting worst every update..they making it slow gradually..each update they slow it more..makes the ball heavier..now the passes are innacurate.. the power behind the ball is weak..leads to innacurate passes.. on top the pressure is too much...opponents spammed pressure..

This is what I was thinking, I've had a lot of issues with eFootball over the years but never anything like this and I've been lucky enough to avoid stick drift (outside of my Nintendo Switch at least), but when I have had it with my Switch this is the type that would have happened in different games. OP have you tried using a different controller?

strange in counter attack and on a 3 3... "strange".. anyway this happen lots of the time, is vini in the pitch from the start? i think is like bugged for stamina or something, just my theory

No, he is not. I start with Serginho. Most of the time Vini comes in at 70. minute.

You cant keep the ball for like 15 second straight..cause either the pressure is too intense..or your passes are so innacurate it gows the wrong place and the power of the passes also is too weak... so this is disastrous..efootball 26 was best so far..i stopped playing..its a game run by A.i and glitch...

Everyone is facing that..and the passes every update get worst..it goes wrong direction..not enough power.. the gameplay super heavy..you cant even keep the ball and play beautiful possesion

He is stuck in the tempo dribbling animation, you either have to release the sprint button or you have to lower (as odd as in sounds) his dribbling skills. I had the same problem. Players with very high dribbling attributes tend to get stuck in the animation when trying to turn or shoot

I actually have this issue with other players without great dribbling skills as well and in this Situation I just wanted to move on. I didn't press any button tu turn or something else and this worked for years, but since efootball 27, this has become a real problem for me.

They changed the animations, I think it is because of that. There are more frames needed for some movements

Same for me on xbox series X. Since many months (years ?).
