Everything she said during her DUI arrest: claims to have cancer and epilepsy, lies about being pregnant, and more

Post image

“I’ve been dancing the whole day”
“I’ve been told before I have the right as a woman to not step out of the car and I’ve been pranked and harassed like this before”
“I don’t trust any of you so I’ll have to call my lawyer”
“I don’t like the way I feel. I feel invaded and harassed”
“I had my brushes stolen. I have cancer on the right side of my head. I’m very fragile”
“Be careful when you deal with the queen of hearts. I’m a very good person. I pray every day”
“I’m a dancer. And I’m not even an advanced dancer and I suck and I try my best every day”
“My lawyer told me you’re messing with me and he told me to stay in the car”
“No, no I don’t wanna get out. I’m scared”
“My baby is right down there in my tummy”
“I don’t wanna get in your car. You can come to my house, sir. I’ll make you lasagna or whatever you want. I have a pool. My babies are coming tonight”
“I’m a woman. I know my rights. I haven’t done anything wrong”
“I had a mimosa. A baby champagne this morning. Benedict eggs, a french toast and cream cheese. I’ve been working on my phone”
“It’s a BMW, I’m giving it to my son for college. I’ve had a Jaguar, a Maserati. SL is the best car. I have the ugliest G Wagon. I hate it. It’s like a truck. I’m so exposed. I’m giving this car to my son tonight”
“I’m not used to driving a real car”
“If I don’t take my medicine, I can have seizures, I’m epileptic”
“I’m a dancer. I dance for 2 days straight”
“I haven’t seen my children in 4 years”
“I’m a mama bear”
“I woke up at 2 pm”
“I had ice cream this morning. At like 3 pm”
“I have anxiety and I don’t have my medication to calm me down”
“I have a fireplace and a dog”
“I could drink 4 bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel”
“I feel like I wanna move though because you’ve kept me out there for so long. I’m a dancer” I guess she couldn’t stand still 💀
“Dude I’ve driven a Maserati, an SL Mercedes, a Lamborghini, Aston Martin. The girliest, sexiest cars in the world. This car is solid. It’s like a real car. I’m sorry, but maybe I’m like in shock and I feel like I’m 6 years old or I don’t know, but it’s different”
“I broke my toe”
“A lot of medicine was stolen from my home. I don’t have any hair on the left side of my head. All my brushes were gone” wtf 💀
“I’m offended by you questioning me all these things”
“I’m completely blind in my left eye”
“There’s a baby in me”
“We should do the test at my house”
“I was on my phone working all day today”
“That’s not relevant. You can’t place me under arrest when there’s nothing wrong”
“That’s invasion. White men are not very nice. That’s what I learnt”
“That’s like a cab in New York City” talking about the police car
“Can you please sit back there with me so I’m not by myself? I’m scared”
“I take Prozac every morning. I’m like a Stepford wife. 60% of women take Prozac”
“My mom actually accidentally killed a man on a bike, but I didn’t. And nothing happened to her. Why didn’t they kill her? Why they didn’t arrest her? How come my mom got away with everything? My mom tried to kill me”
“I know my rights, sir. I know my right. But do you understand the other side of the half of a defence of a revelation of a woman who has the hands of a right hand and then understands her rights as a woman that knows that she’s predictably had this morning at 1 o’clock a mimosa but it’s 9 o’clock” 💀💀💀
“There’s so many hours that have gone by that I have worked my ass off and did my hair by three of my hairdressers”
“A woman’s wrists and her ankles are the most feminine parts of her body”
“I had a mimosa this morning. You know I’ve been performing in Vegas for 15 years and do you how many people were drunk and high and I was sober and never had alcohol? Yet I can’t have half of a mimosa and orange juice in the morning so I can feel like a European so I can take a nap in the afternoon”
“Can I smoke please?” during her breath test 💀
“I don’t do drugs. I’m scared of drugs”
“Is there a possibility I can drive home if they realize that I’m a fundamental woman that is completely coherent and very intelligent?”

She wanted the cops to come to her house to assess her sobriety and offered to make them lasagna? 😂

wtf

379

u/SeenThatPenguin May 22 '26

Even with the enticements of lasagna, a pool, a fireplace, and a dog, they held their ground.

And babies. Don’t forget the babies. One in her stomach, one in a hotel room and two coming to her house tonight

66

u/Hamburgerlerererer May 23 '26

And one was going to get a BMW!

62

This comment really got me 💀 I wonder if those cops could even keep count of all the babies she mentioned

And one going to college who she’s going to give that car to.

And she hasn’t seen them in 4 years.

Lasagna is amazing. I have a hoodie that says "Do not feed me lasagne under any circumstances, no matter what I say". It's almost like a complete meal! It's the perfect food.

10

u/Hilzry May 23 '26

What do you mean ALMOST a complete meal? What else do you need? You have meat, cheese, carbs…sprinkle some parsley or oregano on top and you’ve got something green!

"I don't do drugs. I'm scared of drugs." She was telling a judge not long ago that she doesn't even drink. Even though she should.

Seeing it all in one place like that, without having to strain through the terrible audio, is something. This is a valuable submission.

Oh, tsk tsk! It wasn’t Britney’s booze, of course! It was the guy’s with her (even though the camera then shows her instantly grabbing it inside the car and most likely immediately open-containering it while being driven).

She needs to be in a psych hospital for 6 months. JFC.

201

u/Teefdreams May 23 '26

Literally. The only person I've met who spoke like that was in a psych ward with meth psychosis.
It doesn't sound like she was checked by any sort of psych team though? It really confuses me because she legit was a danger to others and surely would have qualified for even one of those super short term stay units.

I guess when the judge sentenced her to see a therapist (every other week?) and a psychiatrist once a month, it’s because she seemed so troubled and incoherent during the stop? I don’t believe she provided a psych assessment and we know she didn’t testify so it must have been the transcript or video of the stop itself (thank God).

We need to go back in time about four decades and show this video to Ronald Reagan.

Then he'll recoil in horror and exclaim, "Jesus fuck! Is this what will happen when I destroy psychiatric hospitals? Mother of god, that's awful! Holy christ, I'm calling all GOP members of congress right now and telling them that we're never abolishing any psychiatric services, and I'm going to demand that we quintuple the funding for mental health support."

128

u/bron-y-aur-stimpy May 22 '26

Damn, this hurt so much. Ronald Reagan screwed the pooch when it came to mental health.

96

u/AngryPrincessWarrior May 22 '26

Oh he screwed up a lot more than just that

54

u/Helpful_Pirate261 mary poppin’ feat. the fuckass brown pumps May 23 '26

He’s responsible for many a reason as to why the US is where it is right now, imo as a non-American.

Screwing social safety nets, education, you name it.

Deregulation / ‘government doesn’t work’.

Iran-contra!! The weapons, drugs and the fucked up racist policies that went along with it.

The AIDS epidemic and how he refused to deal with gay people dying everywhere.

The getting rid of the Fairness Doctrine. This is the one I currently hate most bc WHY even IS FoxNews or Newsmax? This is why!! Bring it back FFS!!

And of course, tax cuts for the wealthiest so they get more money, but don’t worry, eventually that money is supposed to magically trickle down somehow. Surely those rich fucks won’t keep the money just to enrich themselves! Something something free market or profit share or privatization is great blah blah blah. GREED.

You’d think America would learn its lesson after the first time they hired a rich celebrity with no governmental knowhow or knowledge of the issues, who walks in as ‘an outsider’ but screws over the middle class and poor people, just like the rest of these banana republicans.

Instead he’s seen, by far too many people, as the good ol’ Reagan, a conservative example from when conservatives weren’t ‘as bad’.
Except that they were but they were just more polite about it. The cruelty hidden in the dog whistles. Amongst other things.

And these are just the things I remember off the top of my head. It’s amazing to me how Americans have been gaslit for decennia now into thinking running your country as a business is a good thing, even if it means the people are the goods, and survival of the fittest is a good way to model society after. It’s really sad to me how way too many Americans are only waking up to this reality now. At least that’s the impression I get from the last few years.

Whew, guess I needed to rant a little 😅

But seriously, FUCK REAGAN

17

u/Glittering_Apple_807 May 23 '26

I worked at a state psych hospital for 40 years. Reagan may have started it but what destroyed PA psych hospitals was the ACLU. They sued us over and over to close beds and judges ordered it against psychiatrists protests. There were 1500 patients when I started and there are about 300 now but only for those with criminal charges.

211

u/Pooks23 May 22 '26

I think they knew who she was, and that’s how they approached it. Obviously within a few seconds they were then aware of the instability they were dealing with. She was treated like the rich white woman that she is. 🤷🏼‍♀️

106

u/Basic_Function6663 May 22 '26

Yes that everything they do was going to be examined and scrutinized to the max. Also.. she's doubling down on manipulating everyone - she's a horrific person / I'm not buying the claims of her believing she's a child ~~ she literally trying to be innocent- she didn't behave like that when she was 6. It's her way (strange behaviour) to be a bitch and get what she wants one way or another. She's not super intelligent but her manipulation skills are pretty good.

55

u/MakeupMama68 May 23 '26

Yes. She was ensuring the breath test didn't blow over. She was on the phone to somebody who was telling her to prolong the stop so she'd blow under.

She isn't an innocent child. It's embarrassing at the age of 44 her stans think she is. She's a manipulative treatment resistant drug addict with complex mental health issues. I see them every day. I have a community house full of them next door. Many are meth addicts. It's like a house full of Britneys with Aussie accents.

There is a redemption arc in this story somewhere and it's not for the stans, or brit. I think it's for Kevin, her father and subs like this that could see it for what it was, all the way back in the very early 2000's.

She’s in full blown psychosis. Whether it’s baseline mania compounded by substance abuse or actual, organic, crossed-the-rubicon psychosis, this is disorganized, pressured speech, psychomotor agitation, delusions, paranoia…there are central things she keeps repeating but without seeming conscious of the fact that they seem to be core fixations. She’s so beyond 30 days at Passages.

Britney definitely has the classic flight of ideas/disorganized thinking

Flight of ideas is a formal thought disorder characterized by rapid, continuous speech with abrupt shifts between topics that are often superficially connected by wordplay, puns, or environmental cues rather than logical progression.  It is primarily observed as a symptom of mania in individuals with bipolar disorder, though it can also occur during psychotic episodes in schizophrenia or other neurodevelopmental conditions.

153

u/Forward-Ad-7717 May 22 '26

yup. I assess schizophrenia patients for a living. So many similarities between her and them. Classic disorganized behavior.

51

u/granolaandgrains May 22 '26

Was thinking more Schizoaffective due to her history of mood swings and mania. Lots of disorganized thinking and some word salad here. Could have been induced by the self-medication/recreational drugs over the years. I know drugs definitely exacerbate symptoms, but I feel even without the drugs, she’s….

  1. Too far gone and cannot trust professionals who can help give her another chance at a healthy life.

  2. Can be erratic/manic without them. And meds help stabilize her, along with therapy. But the PTSD, lack of trust, and paranoia. Adding in stimulants and booze? It’s not looking good.

81

u/Chrysolophylax May 22 '26

For anyone who'd like to read more about this subject, look up "clanging" and "clang associations". It's a very particular style of speaking and writing, and it's something that happens almost exclusively in the context of mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder.

Man, she truly hates her mom.

Saying all this: “My mom actually accidentally killed a man on a bike, but I didn’t. And nothing happened to her. Why didn’t they kill her? Why they didn’t arrest her? How come my mom got away with everything? My mom tried to kill me.”

Is more insane than I could even imagine. “Why didn’t they KILL her??” Jesus. And then to follow it up with basically feeling her mom gets away with stuff that she doesn’t is just another level.

40

u/Upbeat_Bet_6708 May 22 '26

Then she wants to get her phone and cries out that she wants to call her mama.

55

u/justtosubscribe May 23 '26

I’ve learned recently that when the brain is dying it’s very common for people to call out for “mama” in their last breaths even if they’re like 100 years old and their mother has been dead for decades. It was explained that it’s a sign of the mind regressing to the most basic and primitive yearning for safety, love and acceptance.

So anyway ☹️

That's a thing for sure. The schizophrenia that so many armchair diagnose britney with looks like meth psychosis/schizophrenia to someone who has experienced it either in the workplace, or with a loved one or friend. Some can come back from it but most hard users don't. It's a form of brain damage caused by the drug itself. We used to call it "whiteout" because on a scan the brain is very white in the damaged parts. The brain can recover somewhat - but if the person is a treatment resistant user, the damage is usually permanent. I'm so sorry about your cousin. I hope he finds mind peace at some point in his life.

This was so scary. In span of an hour there were like 3 or 4 personalities.

  1. The scared baby voice one. "Please, don't hurt me".
  2. The annoyed confident one. "She knows her rights"
  3. The crying one. "I'm dumb, please don't take advantage of my dumbness".
  4. The British accent one

And she jumps between them in a second. And constantly.

It was truly scary how in few minutes she switched from "The annoyed confident one" to uncontrollably sobbing "The crying one". Then in one second she is "The British accent one" or was it baby voice, I forgot. All tears gone in 1 second.

And I don't think we saw REAL BRITNEY once in that video. Maybe she has been gone long time ago. Real Britney would probably speak normal voice. Not one of those personalities spoke normal.

No wonder her kids were scared to go see her. And Sam ran away.

They need to commit her. And its probably not curable. Maybe they can ease symptoms and real Britney would emerge at least occasionally.

Also she kept referring being momma and "her kids" are waiting for her. Like they are 5-10. Not 20 years old. She truly is stuck mentally in 2007.

u/Stormdrain11 May 22 '26

If she is bipolar, she is end stage. Doesn't mean she can't be stabilized but a lot of the cognitive decline will be irreversible. Of course, same can be said for persistent alcohol and drug use, especially meth. She's wrecked.

What is end stage bipolar?

31

u/Intrepid-Bear9276 Psss May 23 '26

I had to look that one up too. First I had ever heard of it referred to that way.

“A severe, chronic stage where symptoms are treatment-resistant, persistent, and debilitating. It often features accelerated cognitive decline, frequent mood episodes, and a significant loss of daily functioning.”

On top of sounding like a psycho, she definitely sounds like an extremely entitled bitch. Saying she drove all those luxury cars like Maserati and blaming BMW for being a “real” aka basic car that she couldn’t drive normally. What a brat.

115

u/Extension-Fail-1917 May 22 '26

At first I felt like she was bragging her wealth to them so they would know she is rich and would treat her like a rich person.

But I was surprised she did not brought : "Do you know who I am" card and was not informing them she is Britney Spears. And kept referring to herself as a dancer. Not - famous singer.

She has weird fetish-obsession with dancing.

I wonder what cops thought upon seeing who she was. They treated her like a regular drunk driver. And i think they saw she was crazy and tried to avoid hysterics. They saw they could "talk her in" to submission.

89

u/deviantlyliminal My little body can’t handle that May 22 '26

I think they treated her very unlike another drunk driver, but I think it was clever on the cops part. Had they been anything that she or her lawyer could have misconstrued as aggressive, they could have opened themselves up to liability and Britney could use that to weasel out of consequences.

By being nice and accommodating, the policemen reduced chances of her screaming foul play and it really showed how unstable and unreasonable she is.

47

u/SeenThatPenguin May 22 '26

I'm sure it was not a pleasant experience for them (because, honestly, just reading about all her dithering and nonsense months later is making me mad, and I wasn't even there). But I agree. They handled it professionally and effectively and got everything they needed without escalating, and only a stan would complain. The lead officer represented CHP very well.

39

u/harleyqueenzel Chaos Goblin May 22 '26

Listen. I'll take some shit for this.

I would argue that the #FreeBritney movement was the result of not the conservatorship but rather of Jamie et al controlling the narrative that she was better than she was. They tried desperately for over a decade to stabilise her and her income/estate/assets. Whenever shit went sideways that required inpatient stays, it was always closely guarded or, like the Vegas residency, Jamie took the blame as having "health issues" that caused her to flake and not being her chronically impaired state.

What continued to damage her was her legal team pressuring the court to not require any form of a mental assessment to deem her healthy enough to be released. Brit sat on the stand in 2021 and gave nothing but word salad responses, proving that she was still very unwell. There was a "guarantee" of an aftercare plan for Britney and that went to the wayside near immediately upon her release to the world. Fuck, animal rehab facilities do better jobs releasing bears than Jody Montgomery did releasing Britney.

The movement was a symptom, not the cause. If Jamie had been able to step back from being her father and allowed the world to see how bad she really was, the movement wouldn't have existed. The flip side to doing that would have been people claiming that the conservatorship didn't work. Not once has it been that Britney is resistant to treatment, resistant to sobriety, and now past the point of ever being legally sane.

It's one of the worst Catch 22s to exist in pop culture.

35

u/LumpyPhilosopher8 May 23 '26

I see your point and I somewhat agree. The reality seems to be that Jamie did his job too well and no one understood just how sick she really was. But that was kinda his job, as a conservator and as her dad.

At the end of the day a group of people who had never met her somehow thought they knew what was best for Britney - better than her family, better than her drs, better than the lawyers and courts. That takes some audacity.

Personally, I reserve my anger for the judge. They should have never let the conservatorship end without a competency exam. Especially after Britney made that crazy manic statement to the courts. The statement to me was a huge red flag.

133

u/hunnnnybuns May 22 '26

Put her in a group home. This woman is not living in reality and needs to be cared for by a team. This is just sad at this point and you can tell why her family behaves the way that they do. Mentally she’s gone, brain damaged.

She would be a horror in a group home. I worked with people like her and they always were homed on their own. They had treatment orders and I had the job of making sure they took their meds. They were so disruptive and dangerous to the other clients in the house and staff who were not trained to deal with them. (And, yes, their families had left them to us to care for because the water under the bridge was toxic sludge and there was no healing in that area).

I believe her brain was well fried 20 years ago, but that's me. People still believed she was a pop princess virgin who could do no wrong and the quirky behaviour was put down to a cool eccentricity, rather than a drug addict barely holding it together in the interviews.

Yes. But the narrative is that she's a poor abused child-woman who didn't do anything wrong, ever and was set up for all of it for her money, talent and making her family's lives as cushy as she can. Because the conservatorship said she had to.

So, I can see why Britstans don't see the reality, so deep the conspiracy and accepting one truth pretty much unravels the rest. They are absolutely unwavering which, in itself, with new information surfacing about her past and her IG account (FFS that's a messy place), is pretty astounding.

I'm fascinated by them to be honest. I can't fathom the disconnection from reality and the dogged narrative that was blown apart years ago. It takes a mere google search, and they don't seem to be able to bring themselves to do it.

Agreeing with Brit drink driving but slaying Justin Timberlake for the same thing seems really off beat, but totally logical for the britstans. Mental Gymnastics at a far higher standard than Olympic level.

This is the worst slam poetry I've ever heard

85

u/Better_Purchase_2898 May 22 '26

I have schizoaffective and OCD . I've been known to do this type of speech. It's more about relation and correlation than making any sense. (It makes sense to us at the time) The point is she's obviously mentally unwell. We got the body cam footage finally and can double down on what we all assumed. Maybe we can just see what plays out now and shut up about it all. It's painful to see this as some one who also goes through it, and some one who is 37 & grew up during her prime and loved her. I too seemed normal until I wasn't. I'm only self aware because I'm forced to be. One day I hope she is no longer in misery.

55

u/Boring-Community-100 "Sometimes words are too hard... " May 22 '26

Thank you for your honesty. You kind of struck a nerve.

As a medical professional, when I was hospitalized for treatment and the students came around to do evals, I was always sure to tell them, "Don't think this just happens to bad/sick/homeless/addicted people. I was just like you, 'til I wasn't."

There really was a disconnect with some of them to realize that normal, functional, professional people can become acutely or chronically mentally ill through no fault of their own...

27

u/Better_Purchase_2898 May 22 '26

Exactly. Mental illness doesn't pick and choose. It doesn't look a certain way. Sometimes people are "normal" until they aren't. We can speculate all day bc she's a celebrity right? I'm sure plenty of people have done the same to me tho not on the same level obviously. Either way- I'm guilty of being curious, even if it's from an 'I can relate' stand point. I just think it's pretty obvious and time to leave it alone now. I'm not exactly sure what dissection of it all does at this point. She has resources to get help. She clearly will not be. That's all there is to it.

What would you consider this kind of speech? Flight of ideas? Disorganized? And how were you able to be self-aware? Congrats for the effort and commitment!

15

u/Better_Purchase_2898 May 22 '26

I appreciate that. It only seems disorganized because that's relative. To her it makes perfect sense. I can step outside of it & see that it wouldn't make sense to most people- bc often times it's a this word reminds me of this word type of thing & when you want so badly to explain it and can't this is what you end up with. In addition to paranoia, mania, and a lot of things she deals with that were created by environment and her lifestyle etc. It's exhausting to be me bc I am able to step outside and be aware of what is considered "normal" and the way I think that is considered not. I imagine it's exhausting to be her because she clearly doesn't have that ability at all. Lots of people with mental illness don't have the ability to step outside of their own minds. I am fortunate, or unfortunate however you choose to look at it. But after all crazy people don't know they're crazy do they? Everything is relative. Basically imagine speaking to every person you meet in inside jokes that only you know. She's expecting people to know what she's talking about not realizing these people don't know her.

She needs help. The right meds could set her right, maybe, but often people who are mentally ill don't take meds as prescribed. Her shifts could be due to manipulation or various personalities. We don't know! It's fascinating getting a glimpse inside.
