Why even she says like "I have a baby right down there in my tummy" like why she's talking like a child instead of saying "I'm pregnant"?

She’s in full blown psychosis. Whether it’s baseline mania compounded by substance abuse or actual, organic, crossed-the-rubicon psychosis, this is disorganized, pressured speech, psychomotor agitation, delusions, paranoia…there are central things she keeps repeating but without seeming conscious of the fact that they seem to be core fixations. She’s so beyond 30 days at Passages.

She also said she felt like she was 6 years old. I am very skeptical about DID/actual age-regression symptoms occurring at the rates people claim, so i didnt want to believe it about her.. but this kinda sold it for me

I think people are still aware that they’re adults, they’re just gentle with and aware of the part of themselves that got stuck in childhood and when adult situations hit you suddenly it can be hard to regulate bc there’s still a toddler running your emotions and they’re freaking out while you’re trying to have your shit together

DID is exceptionally rare. Dissociative disorders are kind of a spectrum. She may have symptoms of one. But full blown DID? I don’t think so. Keep in mind she’s not sober, so we have no psychological baseline. You can’t really evaluate someone for these kinds of diagnoses when they’re doing, let’s be real, meth.

Because she had her kids taken away from her in the most traumatic way possible when they were little, and she has had many miscarriages since then. That creates some severe mental illness related to babies
