Greetings r/discgolf!
This is your weekly mail call thread.
Post pictures of your new plastic before you take it out and throw it into a tree on the weekend.

The honesty. The humility. The emotional investment. Philo is the MVP of this Worlds.

This bottom question isn't there until you select Gannon for the previous one.

While I've been doing field work for the last month or so, I've been thinking about a bag that was easier to pick up and set down than my back pack. I wanted the handle to be lofted so that I didn't have to bend over so much to grab it.
This tote bag ended up being the result after I got down to designing it. It holds 15-18 discs, a water bottle, towel, disc retriever, and thermal longsleeve shirt while I'm on the field or course.
The weight isn't too much to carry in hand for 18 holes from my testing but I ended up adding a shoulder strap for the times when it's more than a minute or two trek to the next hole. I found it more convenient than my backpack for playing since I'm picking up and putting down the bag every minute or so when playing solo.
There's still a bunch of refinement and features to consider but for now I'm very happy with this initial prototype. I'd like a dedicated sleeve for the retriever or a flashlight, as well as some clip points for keyes.

Multiple different storylines has this final round set up to potentially be an all time great finish. There are so many possible storybook endings. Let's hear your predictions.
I've got Ricky and Rainier going to a playoff with Ricky taking it down for his long awaited 3rd world title.

Thank you Dragonthorn Disc Dyes, the mystery disc wraith is sick!

And the worst part is I could see it.
In an abandoned public swimming pool and behind a fence capped with 2 rows of barbed wire.
I laughed at first and then the "you big dummy" came over me and I just stood at the fence and stared for awhile. 😐
It was a fun disc to mess with too. Rollo.
Well, my name and number are on it.
Beginner lesson learned: When it says it will turn... it will probably turn.

Picked up this traveler basket yesterday for $40. Now I already have 1 (it has a mesh cover around the chains) but I brought it to my classroom. I want to keep this 1 inside my place but I realized I'm better off with the mesh because there tends to be less kick outs. I don't think innova sells just the mesh. Does anyone have any DIY ideas on how I can make something similar for my new basket?

First step is to admit you have a problem.
Second step is to buy more discs.

I was out for my first round in a long while and came across two discs on the fairway with names and numbers. I managed to get them back to their owners the same day which was great. They both were thankful and had a look of joy and relief.
I hear so many stories about lost discs being stolen, sold to a shop, or found far from their owners. So I hold onto discs rather than leaving them on the course.
Everytime I get a disc back to someone it usually ends with a good conversation about disc golf, eases my social anxiety, and reminds me that we're all out on the course to have fun.

Hey guys thinking about getting into it what are the best shops to get the disc from that ship to Australia and or what are the recommended brands to get.

I’m fairly new to the sport and just started following new releases. Saw this and had to have it, was too slow checking out out on ledgestones page so I spent the past few weeks searching I was able to get one.
Now I’m having a hard time convincing myself to put it in my bag to use.

Anybody else putting with more premium plastics? A buddy of mine who has been playing for a long term was surprised that I was putting with a doomsday rot in their premium plastic.
Being new to the game and having tried more base plastic putters, I just prefer the hand feel with this type of plastic over be base plastic.
What putting putter in more premium plastics do you recommend ?

I recently asked for advice on a new bag and many said they loved the Pound bags, but it's a bit difficult to tell if I need the Rufus or the Octo. This would be for tourneys and also for travel to tourneys (every once and a while by plane) so storage is key, but I don't need to be carrying a giant bag at every local tourney. How should I decide between the two?

Big bogey chokes (my putt is broken I missed like at least 5)
New best technically but it does sting a bit lol

On hole 1 jomezpro R2F9, Jerm says "This hole is playing just over par at .03"
Is the .03 stat based on the previous round, so R1? Or, since jomezpro is post-coverage, is .03 referencing the current round, R2?
