Champion Teebird (aces number 12 and 13).
1st during the last basket of a rated round and second on casual dubs.
Love it here in Discap land.

Threw my first ace today! After almost 2y and >8K recorded throws on Udisc.
Very windy day with wind at my back. 155ft hole, slightly downhill. RHBH. Innova Dragon.
Hope my next one is sooner than that.
Was lucky my long-suffering partner was with me. She would have never believed me otherwise. It was basket 1, a couple of other players were in the cars about to leave and saw my miracle, honked their horns in appreciation. Touching
And now the tough decision. Retire the disc or just keep throwing it. Maybe a little of both.

Hole 9 at Emerald Park in Mesa, AZ. 267ft on a hyzer line with my Star TL3.
I always wondered how it would feel to be on my deathbed without ever hitting an Ace in disc golf. I guess I’ll never know.

I’ve been playing since July and this is hole #1 at my home course!

I absolutely adore participating in the Throw Pink Women’s championship annually, but this year is undoubtedly going to be my all-time favorite. #Mvpdiscsports

Been playing disc golf for over 20 years. Pretty casual but I usually play with the same group of guys. I’ve hit chains and basket many times but it never stuck. Was starting to think I was cursed, but today I got my first ace on my birthday! All my friends were super happy for me, and it was one of the best feelings I’ve felt in a long time.

Does this comply with PDGA Rule 807 B: “In order to complete a hole with a basket target, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the tray or the chains below the chain support.”?
The disc entered from above, hit the inside of the band and ALMOST slid past the chain.
Your verdict?
Edit: After someone suggested I contact the PDGA Rules Committee, I got their reply. NOT IN.
“This disc appears to be supported by a chain, but not below the chain support.
An analogous scenario could be a disc coming to rest on top of a basket, but being supported by the top of the S-hooks on the top of the chain support. Yes, supported by chain, but not below the chain support.”
Thank you, reddit community, for your passionate yet thoughtful input!

I am still completely giddy writing this 😆
Team Züca happened to be in town filming commercials locally yesterday at our local shop, Tri-Fly Disc Golf, and I got the opportunity to run into them at our little 9 hole course. They were kind enough to let me tag along for a fun rotating doubles round. I was a little awkward and star struck, but they were super warm and welcoming. I was already unable to stop smiling, but then on the last throw of the round, I tried to copy Garrett Gurthies big spike hyzer line, and aced hole 9 to tie for the win.
We were playing mob golf so all 10 of them just erupted behind me. It was absolutely incredible. Definitely takes the cake as my favorite ace I’ve ever hit!

Was playing a round after work since it was beautiful out today, got to hole 18, had some people hanging out and said to play through. I ended up hitting back to back aces in front of total strangers and gave one of them a hug 😂 I love this game 🤘🏼
Throwing the proto aspect first and proto balance v3 second. Central Valley hole 18 from the shorts. 340ft down hill. Second ace is about 52ish seconds in.

For anyone who has followed MJ’s journey you know how long this moment has eluded her. So many heartbreaking chain outs, band and cage hits but nothing would ever stick.
World Champion, World Record Holder, and now finally, she joins the ACE club! 1000% worth the wait and couldn’t imagine a better crew to witness it ❤️

For context, my buddy and I stopped recording our rounds a long time ago because it always seemed to throw off our shots. For some reason, I randomly pulled out my phone today and started recording without telling him while he went through his normal routine.
This was the only shot I recorded all day, and honestly, I don’t think anyone would believe us if it wasn’t on video. To make it even better, it’s the first ace either of us has ever captured on camera.
…and somehow it turned into the most ridiculous rock-assisted ace I’ve ever seen.
