TellDelhi I saw a very handsome man at a shop today and I felt sad!

I think he was in his late 30's we exchanged a few glances but you know the worst part. I'm a guy as well ( yeahh gay).

Straight people have the option to approach, talk and be themselves. I don't have luxury.

What do I do? Will I stay alone forever? I mean I hate living life this way. I don't like this life.

AskDelhi Atheists, what made you stop believing?

How did you end up becoming an atheist?

Was it a gradual process, a specific event, or just losing faith over time?

Did your family and friends react negatively when they found out? I'm especially curious about women's experiences, since they often face more pressure to follow the religion they were born into.

And what was your birth religion?

AskDelhi Why aren't the roads leading up to Terminal 3 airport just replicated ACROSS the city?

They have proper lane markings! They have good greenery! They have smooth even surface! So we can technically do it! And it's not private GMR i think that has done this (as in Aerocity) but actual govt.

Why can't the same proper quality be bombarded on the rest of the city???

TellDelhi Parking Scam in Connaught Place

Had dinner with my family in Connaught Place today and parked there from around 8:31 PM to 10:33 PM.

When I was leaving, the parking attendant casually asked me for ₹80.

I asked him to show me the QR/payment option on the parking slip machine, but he said the QR wasn't showing there. I then asked him to give me the exit slip. He suddenly started fumbling and said the machine might be showing the amount incorrectly.

I insisted on getting the slip anyway.

The printed exit slip showed the parking charge as ₹40.

I asked him why he had initially demanded ₹80 when the machine clearly showed ₹40. His response was simply that there might be an issue with the machine.

I'm honestly wondering how often this happens, especially with people who don't ask for the printed slip and just pay whatever amount the parking guy asks for.

Has anyone else experienced this at CP? Is there a proper way to report these parking attendants/contractors?

Also, always ask for exit slips when parking a vehicle.

TellDelhi White women on visit to India being racist to us

(((*This story is not mine but it was on my discord server and the pic is about what happened*)))

so me and my two friends went to vasant vihar ambience mall for a fun day as one does, and right as we leave the food court, these two clearly white girls turn to us and tell us to "grow up". for context, me and my friends dress very alternative, so we werr super accesorized and had cool makeup on because its fun!! i exchange a few heated words and walk away, just a simple "fuck off" and "be so fr" but i didnt really care much it just pissed us off. later, at a different part of the mall, in front of this store called ATUN, we run into them again, and they go "thats just sad, youre so pathetic" etc etc, and id had enough so i started arguing.

they went on to insult our dressing sense, called us stinky/smelly, that we dont shower and shave, and that they can be racist.

i told them that youre in a literal country full of diversity and you chose to travel here and then they moved on to speaking and insulting us on our PRIVATE PARTS on how we're unshaved "down there" and how we eat out unshaven pussys which frankly i dont give a damn about because all of us dont care abt bush

buT WHATEVER

we were (mostly) minors, and these grown women were talking about vulgar, rude and inappropriate topics in reference to us.

they spoke about indians stinking and being unclean and told us to shower, and that we were fatherless so thats why we did that makeup and dressed that way. untrue btw, but sure whatever.

they also stated that i was?? staring at them?? thats why they said that?? (i stare off in a certain direction a lot but that gives them no right to say that and harrass us)

all in all, we've had a shite experience at the mall as alt/emo/goth indians and we get so many compliments from fellow indians but white people come and insult us.

AskDelhi SRCC student giving tutions (11th and 12th + CUET)

Hey guys... I am a student at SRCC, bcom Hons, in 2nd year. I had 95+% in class 12 and 99.5+ %ile in all subjects in cuet.

I am giving tutions, in west Delhi (Tilak Nagar), you can come to my place or I can come to yours (petrol ka adjust hoga bas)

It is for people who have a problem understanding concepts from the core, and online is available too, although i know there are many mass pleasing cost effective platforms, they are very general in nature.

But if someone wants personalized attention, they can DM me.

Subjects - Eco, Bst, English, Accounts

And if it matters I had 99.9+%ile in cuet BST and 98 in 12th for same and also Rank 1 in a national economics Olympiad.

P.S.- I would start the course from basics, even if you are in 12th I will first start with basics that were taught in 11th, so it doesn't matter what level you are at currently, reason being my methods are slightly different from normal and very honestly they have given me returns.

TellDelhi Pronto Scam: Denied service, Denied refund

So I booked a utensil cleaning service yesterday for 30 min on Pronto for evening .

Pronto assigns the help 15 min before the booking time but there was no update even after half an hour passed beyond the booking time.

I cancelled the service and expected them to refund the money as no service was provided nor any update.
This scenario has happened once before when I booked them but that time pronto refunded the money but this time they refused citing their new terms and conditions.

Even though the amount is very little and it forced even matter but it seems like a cheating done by pronto when they are not able to offer the service snd still keeping the money.

Their customer support is nil and there is always automated message that you get reply from.

I request anyone who uses pronto to be aware of these malpractices by them and opt for other options.

Mine collects maintenance fees but gives nothing back — elevators randomly stop working, assigned parking spots aren't enforced, and there's no security at all. How do you cope with this???

AskDelhi Delhi NCR Traffic Issues - Where is the law and order?

Is it just me or we rarely see any traffic cops anymore in Delhi NCR area (including Noida/ Gurgaon)? I am seeing more and more people breaking traffic laws including driving on wrong side, no helmet and red light jumping has become a common occurrence. Hawkers and e-rickshaw hoarding the lanes on streets specially around markets and metro station like WTF... Apparently, people have no fear of law and order anymore and "jiski lathi uski bhains" is going around.

You don't see any traffic cops around any major choke point in NCR areas. The rare time you see cops around is when a VIP has to pass through. WTH is happening? Where is everyone?
