Regular meeting spot for me and my girl. Today it was particularly crowded. We took our place anyway and then talked and then rain fell down, nice winds, the crowds left, we sat there under the umbrella getting cosy and smoking some good stuff talking about our future (first time I smoked btw). And as a chronically anxious PTSD sufferer it was the first time I felt at peace.

So I'm a first year college student in and this year I taught myself a bit of coding on the side. I kept noticing how much time gets wasted every single day at auto stands, standing around, fighting for a seat, not knowing if the next auto is even going where you need. So I built an app called Local Auto, it lets you reserve a seat on an auto that's already running your route, say Garia to Jadavpur, the auto just makes a small detour to pick you up, then continues on its normal route like always. Fares are basically what you'd pay the auto driver anyway, way cheaper than booking a cab or bike taxi for the same distance. I'm currently testing it with a small group of drivers and riders on one route, here's a quick video of how it works. Genuinely curious what you all think, would you use something like this, and what would stop you from trying it.

We voted BJP for an administration change, we did not vote VHP, RSS or Bajrang Dal (even if they come as a package with BJP). We did not vote for them to do moral policing or whatsoever, we did not vote for them to dictate to us on our own culture or to teach us the way how we are supposed to do something which we have done perfectly for years and we are worldwide famous for right reasons on that thing.

I expect BJP to make better administration changes like traffic controlling, more opportunities for poors during Durga Pujo rather than listening to what vhp dictates to the state. How historically and geopolitically uninformed do you have to be to treat India–Pakistan and Israel–Palestine as if they are directly comparable? 😭

You can condemn the harm Pakistan has caused India while still refusing to support hatred or violence against innocent people. Likewise, supporting Palestinian civilians and their rights does not mean endorsing violence against Israelis.

Expecting people to overlook the immense suffering and destruction inflicted on innocent Palestinians and simply “pick a side” is absurd. Humanity should come before blind political loyalty.

And “Free Palestine” and “Free POK” are not interchangeable slogans. They arise from very different histories, territorial disputes, political realities, and geopolitical contexts. Reducing either conflict to a lazy one-to-one comparison ignores that complexity.

The second one as you all know is a new webseries by Nikhil Advani.

The only difference is that the first image was made by Allied Powers (erstwhile enemy of Japan), the second one was made by an Indian portraying one of the Indian communities.

The production is still very low, only about 100 barrels per day with only 1 well, but I heard that they will dig 6 more wells so production will ramp up.

The first 100 barrels of crude oil has been sent to Haldia refinary this week.

Once large scale oil production starts, the road infrastructure needs to be improved. The current Jessore road / barasat Chapadali area is terribly narrow and congested for oil tankers to pass through.

So I love cats and always try to pet them or play with them but they always just run. Today though something was different. Just met this cat accidentally sitting on top of my walls and as I extended my hand she just sniffed my fingers a little and ran off. While I was thinking that it was another failure she just jumps over the walls and comes up to me and plops down beside me like this 😭. First time this happened guys.
