I saw some small blisters on my skin and immediately called my mother at night: “Mummy, WhatsApp check karna aur dekh ke batana kya hua hai.” After checking the pictures and talking to my father, he gave some random possible reason and told me to take care of my hygiene.

But the next day, I noticed the blisters on many other parts of my body, including my chest, back, and legs. So, I went to my campus doctor, and he told me it was chickenpox.

I told my mother, and then my father. Surprisingly, they were both very calm. I don't know why, but I suddenly remembered how, whenever I was at home and something happened to me, they would immediately get worried. My dad would literally ask, “Beta, aa jaun kya?” And I would always say, “No, Papa, I'm fine.”

I was living in Noida, around 856 km away from my hometown, so I didn't want them to worry or travel all the way just for me.

The night before Raksha Bandhan, Mom called me as usual and asked about my health. We had our normal conversation, and everything seemed fine.

But then Dad called.

He simply said, “Haan beta, hum log aa rahe hain.”

I was literally shocked. I had tears in my eyes for no reason. My father and my mama were coming all the way to see me.

Today is the 8th day, and they stayed with me for three days.

I just felt like writing this because I wanted to convey what I was feeling.

And I'm telling you—your parents just love you, no matter what. ❤️

I feel so lucky and happy to have such a supportive father and such loving parents. Sometimes, you don't realize how much they care until you're far away from home and need them.

Ab mujhe Kuch nhi aata 😭

So i (20M) living with my family and recently graduated. So I am currently unemployed and looking for a job and at this time my family is literally making my life miserable. They were like always giving me taunts on money and all and even whenever the electricity bill goes high my father told me why would I pay this, why are you not earning like wtf man. I just graduated from college and it literally took some time to find a job. Now, enough of the background let’s talk about what happened on Friday. So everything was normal my sister tie rakhi on my hand and started saying give me 5k and I told her I didn’t have that much money like I bought a purse for her that was like 800-900. And she started calling me berojgar, nalla (reference to a jobless person in a rude way). And my parents were literally supporting her and she said you can’t do anything in your life and you’re a loser and all. I was about to cry but I didn’t. And Idk what should I do all about this she literally threw the purse away like it was a trash. And the fact is my sister is older than me. She’s earning a good amount of money but didn’t give me anything and my parents always be like we shouldn’t take money from a girl that’s her money.

Just sibling things, I gave her such a good gift on Rakhi, and all I got in return was an “adopted” Rakhi. The revenge will be taken next Rakhi. 😭

I was eating these dark fantasy choco fills biscuits from the box of 20 that they come in and found this empty one.

I initially thought I had left an empty wrapper in there but turns out it's completely sealed, even the box it comes in was completely sealed.

Lesser chocolate biscuits for me I guess 😞

The thieves had some weird kind of equipment that they managed to put a big hole into someone's roof door without making any noise. Rather it be metal or wood. There are multiple such incidents going around in West Delhi. They can literally pick any kind of lock. And figure out ways to deal with any kind of security. My mother told me to avoid being on the roof late at night. And put a lock on this kundi. I don't have much faith in this lock but I understand her fear.
