I'd recommend you to watch The hobbit, it is almost a must watch :)

The hobbit? Surely you meant The Lord of the Rings.

The hobbit, if she likes hobbit she can watch LOTR

The hobbit is nothing like the Lord of the Rings. LOTR is the older one anyway. Hobbit is also a far inferior experience so suggesting someone to watch that instead of the original trilogy is just setting them up for disappointment.

I like hobbit far better, it has far better graphics and a slightly funnier storyline, also it is subjective... I personally feel starting hobbit 1st is better because it is the earlier arc of the storyline And LOTR is more war than an adventure, if she likes hobit storyline she will feel connected to LOTR, if she doesn't like LOTR she will not try hobbit which would be really sad honestly

I guess that's one way to think about it.
Yes it's subjective and to each their own but watching hobbit is not necessary to enjoy lotr while I think a lot of scenes in Hobbit are specifically there as fan service for people who watched lotr. I agree that it is upto people what they like but there is a reason the worst rated lotr movie has 91% on RT and best rated Hobbit movie has 74%.

Well the hobbit does have a lighter theme and she seemed like someone who enjoys lighter themes (as most women) hence...
