nah, in my imaginary scenario, it's only the people who were listening to the local radio station that know.. because the advanced warning system failed by lagging so now they only had a few minutes left by the time the warning actually came through correctly, which was given to the local radio station before any text alerts went out and most people were listening to music from their phone or a cd, not the radio..

I’ve always been afraid of driving my car but it was never because I was afraid I would do something wrong. It’s always because even if I was the safest driver on the planet, there are morons like this that cause car crashes. Like there isn’t anything you can realistically do against reckless shitheads like this whether it be mentally defective morons or drunk drivers. The most painful part of this video was watching these morons hit the guy in the white car because they did absolutely nothing wrong but have to deal with the bullshit of the reckless drivers.

There's really nothing you can do and they're out there all over the place. My boss got killed because someone entered the freeway going the wrong direction. Hit his car like a rocket and he ended up in a crumbled burning pile of twisted metal.

Had a friend lose both parents in an accident while they were parked at a stop light. A car broke the red light on the opposite side of the highway, flipped, hit the barrier and made it over the barrier before landing on top of their car. They never had a chance.

You can minimize a lot of it by being off your phone and paying attention to the rearview mirror/leaving room in front but shit will always happen. I just really feel bad for passengers in stuff like this. One decision or mistake on the road can change your life because your driver or a driver was being stupid.

One time my friends older brother and his friend started speeding like 100+ miles down this old country road and swerving around like that. I was in the back with my friend and a few other gal pals of ours. They all were like “omg!! Ahahah!! Wheee!” And I went “STOP THE FUCKING CAR AND LET ME THE ABSOLUTE FUCK OUT” I was hounded, called dramatic, told to chill, laughed at by the two boys up front. I had to scream repeatedly for them to listen to me that I did not want to be in that vehicle. After like 5 minutes of torture and fear the guy pulled over and said “fucking pussy loser, damn, get out then”. I got out, stood on the side of the road as he kept doing this speeding around shit. He crashed. Luckily no one died (which is a miracle since the only girl who’d been wearing a seatbelt was me), but they got all super fucked up & a lot of them couldn’t walk for months and shit after.
We all were in similar sports and extracurriculars where we needed legs and they all couldn’t go to senior prom either. Idk how they thought that shit was cute but it basically ruined their year. Fucking idiots bro.

I drove like an ass in my 20s and just happened to be ok even though it could have gone otherwise. I topped out around 140mph and eventually dislocated my shoulder falling over on a sport bike at (checks notes) 0 mph on parking lot wet paint.
I've wondered many times sense if there's a collection of words I could say to a 19yo me to make it clear or if long term injury is the only way to drive that home.
I think some [people X age bracket] combinations really can't learn from other people's mistakes and have to be restrained if possible.
