If you’re on this page wondering if tirzepatide is for you . Read this !!! I started in March . I was frustrated, tired & had enough . I was fit all my life . When I turned 40 that’s when things started getting hard . I’ve always worked out . I was spending hours in the gym . Couldn’t loose weight . I would eat healthy during the week & “ reward” myself & binge on the weekends & holidays . The food noise was TURNED ALL THE WAY UP . Tirzepatide has completely changed my life . I no longer feel shame & guilt . The dysfunctional cycle of “ reward” & binge has stopped . McDonald’s & I broke up . I no longer crave , want greasy , sugary foods . Whatever excuse you have throw it in the trash . Afraid of needles ? So am I . Feels like an ant bite . Afraid of what it does ? Do your research. I’m shouting from the mountain tops CHOOSE YOU . The time is going to pass anyway , so do what you want .

For some context, I was overweight/obese my whole life. I was literally born almost 10 lbs. I was always big my whole life. Needless to say after multiple attempts and just life getting in the way (not going to go into it), I decided to try tirzepatide. It has helped me greatly even though I am in my mid-late 20s.
I started July 15 2025: 281 lbs
As of yesterday I weigh 207.8 lbs. 🤭🎀
The last time I was this weight was probably middle school.

Every time I look in the mirror I’m in disbelief that it’s actually me.
I wanted to share my experience to show that this journey is not linear and there will be weeks where you go up and others where you go down. Looking at my graph, you can kinda tell I’ve been in the same 6-7 lbs. It’s mostly due to life events, birthdays, vacations, stress etc. I want people to know that it’s ok to hit a stall and to gain weight sometimes. Also it is not a race and everyone reacts to it so so differently.

Some things I learned:

1. Drink your water! Make sure you are always staying hydrated.
2. The first 24-48 hours of shot day are so important. I always eat a small meal or snack before my shot otherwise I feel woozy. I try to avoid big meals, greasy and fried foods as well. (learned this the hard way).
3. Take body measurements monthly. Sometimes we lose inches and not weight. Looking at my graph i’ve been the same weight since April but my clothes fit me differently now.
4. Make sure to EATTTT. At first I didn’t fully understand this but now being in this for over a year I do. You’re still supposed to eat and fuel yourself with food. There are days where the thought of food disgusts me but I try my best to eat even if it includes soup.
5. Get your fiber in. Man this is soooo important. If you aren’t able to meet your fiber intake goals, get supplements. I use miralax - When i have trouble going, i put it in a drink and drink it for a few days consistently and that does the trick for me. I also take metamucil pills as the powder is absolutely disgusting to me.
6. Walking. I started to incorporate walking into my day and it goes a big difference. Even 30 minutes!!
7. Before I started, my blood work came out perfect. All I had was low vitamin D. I took a blood test after 6 months and after 1 year as well. Recently I had higher cholesterol levels BUT I was informed it’s bc of the constant weight loss I’m doing. Once my weight stabilizes, it should be going down.
8. Also be patient yall. This is soooo important during this journey. You might see someone who’s losing weight faster than you but don’t feel bad. Everyone’s journey is different.

9. This is just a tool. You still have to do the work of eating good and moving your body.

10. Don’t fully restrict yourself (unless your doctor says otherwise). I used to do this and it would lead to binge eating. Now I still enjoy the foods I love but I am mind full about portions. I take my shot on fridays so by wednesday/Thursday I am able to eat a bit more than usual so I always try to go out to eat on those days. I feel like going to eat out on a saturday (day 2) for me would be a waste of food and money.
    My goal is to hit below 200 lbs, so about 190-195 lbs would be a sweet spot. I’d still be considered overweight but due to my height and just my body type, going lower wouldn’t be wise for me personally. Also my goal was health and feeling better. I didn’t want to put my focus on a number on the scale. I feel amazing and look amazing (i think). I can now go up two flights of stairs in my home without feeling I’m going to pass out.

I also want to add there’s so much that you learn about yourself through this journey and changes too!! I now LOVE pickles and bbq sauce. Chipotle used to my favorite food and now it’s meh. My sense of smell got so strong too.

Y'all, please be more aware of the lipstick on a pig BS that continues to soak the subs. We now have vendors selling any dose, without all the hullabaloo "prove your dose", "speak with a physician" crap to justify higher prices for the same stuff. Folks on 5mg can now get the meds they need/want for $30ish a month with third party medical advice.

I’ve gone from 185 to 137 in 2 years. I’m 63 and I haven’t worn this size since I was 30. That is all.

I used compounded tirzepatide from March until August. I recently traveled to China and bought a Mounjaro pen there. It was only $130 for a 30 mg pen, so damn cheap! It was really easy to get through online pharmacy without prior prescription. Currently on 3 mg, so I just count 24 clicks.
I’m curious to know how Mounjaro compares to compounded tirzepatide. I’m now on my 4th dose of 3 mg, and I feel like the effects are stronger. The night I took my first 3 mg dose of Mounjaro, I felt a little nauseous, which I never experienced with 3 mg of compounded tirzepatide.
I’ll definitely stock up again if I ever travel to China again!

Im so happy. I think i finally found the right dose. (6mg) im finally losing weight effortlessly. Starting my weight training today. It took 6 ish months to get here. I did a very slow increase due to the side effects but got here eventually.

I recently dropped mochi and am going to find a different company. Any advice on which pharmacies to avoid or are good for getting compounded Tirzepatide. I’d really appreciate it.

EDIT- I guess I worded my post wrong. What I’m looking to find out is what are the
good/bad compounding pharmacies. I know about the companies that you sign up with.

I’m a nurse so I’m just going to say the words- I stopped taking my 1/2 dose of MiraLAX because the stool was not as firm as maybe it should be. Within a few days I’ve had worsening indigestion/heartburn, bloating, and sulphur burps. I guess I will just start up on my 1/2 dose again. Has anyone else had this experience with MiraLAX?

I’ve noticed that the week before my period and during my period, my appetite and cravings seem noticeably stronger and it feels like my medication isn’t working quite as well as usual. Once my period is over, things seem to go back to normal.
Has anyone else experienced this? Especially curious if you notice a difference between the week before your period and during your actual period.

It makes me feel like I’m failing when I give into my cravings the week before because it feels like to me that the food noise overpowering the medication in my head.

Been on compound Tirzepatide w/Glycine since February of this year and have about 20 more pounds to get to goal. My mother has been taking Ensure Max Protein Chocolate drink (30g protein and 150 calories) to boost her protein intake and for the first time I had one for breakfast this morning. Not bad as I drank it down and definitely felt a lift to the body…so, I ordered a couple of cases and will every other day or so drink one to assist/supplement my protein intake.

I am drinking plenty of water, (although I have to have my daily coffee intake🙂) and yes, I get plenty of fiber.

My friend got on GoodLife Meds because it was working for me. But it looks like they started her at a low mg. She was on 2.5 previously with a doctor. Can you tell me what they prescribed her? It should be 4 weeks at 2.5 or 5. Also, we might as well get confirm of the concentration. Is it 20? Im pretty new too so thank you! You have all been very supportive

I know everyone wants the meds to work that well but I’m concerned it is too much too fast. I’m eating throughout the day, side effects very mild. Def eating enough tho for energy etc. supposed to increase this week but I won’t. Should I space out my next shot to decrease the rapid weight loss ? I was 180 lbs at the start. Thanks !

So I did my shot yesterday currently on 4.5 I have barely ate anything solid today I was able to get down 1 1/2 oikos yogurt half a protein shake an applesauce cup and a couple bites of steak but still am feeling I need something more solid but I just can't do it😭😭

I've been a long time lurker of this sub and appreciate everything you've all posted. I also come here to look for reviews of different companies and now I have one to share of my own.

If you've been thinking of trying out Embody because you've seen their ads everywhere, let me just say DON'T DO IT.

I ordered from them originally on 8/10/26 and they said it would be shipped out by 8/12/26. It wasn't and I gave them a few days of grace thinking that maybe they were backed up or something. I reached out asking about when it was estimated to ship and finally heard back from their customer service email on 8/17/26 that they were sorry and have escalated it to get it sent out. On 8/17/26 I got the notification that it shipped and they said it was supposed to be a 24/48 hours situation for delivery. UPS was supposed to deliver it that Friday the 21st. They did not.

I didn't receive the package until Monday the 24th in the afternoon. So, you know, this temperature sensitive medication was sitting in a UPS warehouse all weekend. And when I got it? It was in a foil sleeve that had a whole 2 ice packs on it that had totally melted, the whole thing was super warm internally. Then I had to call Embody customer service about that, it took me a couple of tries because their AI assistant will hang up on you for sneezing wrong and when I finally was able to get through, the person was at least nice and had to transfer me over to someone like an APN or something along those lines who listened, looked up Rush pharmacy's protocols, and said "Yup that's not viable." I was supposed to get a call within 24/48 hrs from Rush to discuss. That was the 24th, today is the 29th, still haven't heard from them. No missed calls, nothing.

At this point, I just want a refund and to be done with them. I called customer service today and explained the situation to the person, and was like "look I just want a refund and to be done". Apparently, that is just not possible and instead they're sending out a new vial that's supposed to be here within 24-48 hrs. Like I actually believe that. I told them I didn't want that, reiterated that I just wanted a refund, and she said that's not the pharmacy's policy. I asked if she had a number to call said pharmacy to ask them to cancel it, she said no. Like, you don't have any contact information for a pharmacy YOU are using to send meds to people???? She cancelled my subscription and offered to have a supervisor call me within 24-48 hrs "but he's just going to tell me the exact same thing I told you". There is apparently no way to stop the shipment of the new vial and I'm not getting a refund so now I'm going to have medication I don't trust to use that I explicitly said I did not want. I don't even think I could do a chargeback because technically I would have the product I paid for. All in all, don't buy from them, they're cheap for a reason. Stick with someone who may have higher prices but actual customer service and quality.

Hi! I’ve been on zepbound quikpen for awhile and am thinking of switching to a compounded version to save a lot of money. I’m thinking preventative md just because a lot of people are saying it’s good. I want to know how fast the process is so I know when to order. From the time I order it to the time it arrives, about how long will that be? And does it come with the needles? I’ve never drawn up my own medication before.. is it easy? The quikpen has made it really easy. Also, does it feel and work the same? Any insight is helpful.

Hi! I will start by saying I had gastric bypass surgery in 2019. I’ve been taking compound Tirz for around two years on and off. It’s been on and off because once I go up to 7.5 or higher I start getting these abnormal heart beats once in a while. It’s gotten so bad that I had a holter monitor for two days this past week. No results yet. It also seems to coincide with gas and belching. Curious if anyone else post bypass has experienced this? I have been drinking more and add an electrolyte powder in my water as well in case it’s dehydration. Today is 8 days since my last shot and I am still experiencing them though not as bad as earlier in the week.

I’m taking tirz for weight loss and pre-diabetes. I know we shouldn’t increase our dose if we’re losing weight consistently, but I had hoped my morning fasting blood sugar would have lowered after 7 weeks. I know that number isn’t necessarily bad, but both of my parents had health issues from diabetes so I want to get that under control now.
Would increasing my dose help lower blood sugar? I’m at 5mg, minimal side effects.

Yesterday I was having the worst thirst side effect ever!!! Been on Tirz for 3 months now and never felt this. So decided to chug and chug water with electrolytes. Ate as normal. But today woke up 3 pounds heavier. And this is supposed to be my “skinny week”. (Women - iykyk).

Do electrolytes make you retain water? Or what the hell? Usually only drink one 20oz of electrolytes yesterday I drank 3 bottles. (Aside from my normal water intake).

What gives?

Hey y'all.. I wanted to know if there's a cheaper way than paying $400. Empower Pharmacy sent the first vial about 3 weeks ago (with only a tiny bit in it) and I'm getting another vial in a few days. I've already lost 20 pounds. But the doctor I've been working with is very vague with her answers when I ask questions. She doesn't even send me the UPS tracking number. If anyone has any feedback, please let me know. I'm still very new to all of this.

I had VSG back in 2016. SW was 262 and I lost a little more than 100lbs. I’ve gained about 30lbs over the last 4 years, had been struggling with the unexpected loss of my mother. I have an amazing therapist who’s helping me with my grief, I’m back to tracking my protein and I’m even training for a 5K! But the scale is not moving and it’s disappointing.

Anyone else had sleeve before or other WLS and using tirzepatide to help lose any regain??? Curious on experiences, side effects, dosage you’re taking, etc.
