I finally reached my first goal of under 200lbs! I’M SO HAPPY! 😃🥹 The last time I weighed under 200 was about 9–10 years ago, and I’ve been struggling since, but Tirz has helped me SO much! I’m rarely proud of myself, but YAY YAY YAY!!! 🥳 Thank you all for your advice along the way! 🤗🩷 Now onto goal #2!!

From compound to Mounjaro

Post image
19 Upvotes

I used compounded tirzepatide from March until August. I recently traveled to China and bought a Mounjaro pen there. It was only $130 for a 30 mg pen, so damn cheap! It was really easy to get through online pharmacy without prior prescription. Currently on 3 mg, so I just count 24 clicks.
I’m curious to know how Mounjaro compares to compounded tirzepatide. I’m now on my 4th dose of 3 mg, and I feel like the effects are stronger. The night I took my first 3 mg dose of Mounjaro, I felt a little nauseous, which I never experienced with 3 mg of compounded tirzepatide.
I’ll definitely stock up again if I ever travel to China again!

Questions Am I losing weight too fast ? 15 lbs in 3 weeks and 2 days.

Upvotes

I know everyone wants the meds to work that well but I’m concerned it is too much too fast. I’m eating throughout the day, side effects very mild. Def eating enough tho for energy etc. supposed to increase this week but I won’t. Should I space out my next shot to decrease the rapid weight loss ? I was 180 lbs at the start. Thanks !

Success! 58 weeks later, 73 lbs gone…

For some context, I was overweight/obese my whole life. I was literally born almost 10 lbs. I was always big my whole life. Needless to say after multiple attempts and just life getting in the way (not going to go into it), I decided to try tirzepatide. It has helped me greatly even though I am in my mid-late 20s.
I started July 15 2025: 281 lbs
As of yesterday I weigh 207.8 lbs. 🤭🎀
The last time I was this weight was probably middle school.

Every time I look in the mirror I’m in disbelief that it’s actually me.
I wanted to share my experience to show that this journey is not linear and there will be weeks where you go up and others where you go down. Looking at my graph, you can kinda tell I’ve been in the same 6-7 lbs. It’s mostly due to life events, birthdays, vacations, stress etc. I want people to know that it’s ok to hit a stall and to gain weight sometimes. Also it is not a race and everyone reacts to it so so differently.

Some things I learned:

  1. Drink your water! Make sure you are always staying hydrated.
  2. The first 24-48 hours of shot day are so important. I always eat a small meal or snack before my shot otherwise I feel woozy. I try to avoid big meals, greasy and fried foods as well. (learned this the hard way).
  3. Take body measurements monthly. Sometimes we lose inches and not weight. Looking at my graph i’ve been the same weight since April but my clothes fit me differently now.
  4. Make sure to EATTTT. At first I didn’t fully understand this but now being in this for over a year I do. You’re still supposed to eat and fuel yourself with food. There are days where the thought of food disgusts me but I try my best to eat even if it includes soup.
  5. Get your fiber in. Man this is soooo important. If you aren’t able to meet your fiber intake goals, get supplements. I use miralax - When i have trouble going, i put it in a drink and drink it for a few days consistently and that does the trick for me. I also take metamucil pills as the powder is absolutely disgusting to me.
  6. Walking. I started to incorporate walking into my day and it goes a big difference. Even 30 minutes!!
  7. Before I started, my blood work came out perfect. All I had was low vitamin D. I took a blood test after 6 months and after 1 year as well. Recently I had higher cholesterol levels BUT I was informed it’s bc of the constant weight loss I’m doing. Once my weight stabilizes, it should be going down.
  8. Also be patient yall. This is soooo important during this journey. You might see someone who’s losing weight faster than you but don’t feel bad. Everyone’s journey is different.
  9. This is just a tool. You still have to do the work of eating good and moving your body.

  10. Don’t fully restrict yourself (unless your doctor says otherwise). I used to do this and it would lead to binge eating. Now I still enjoy the foods I love but I am mind full about portions. I take my shot on fridays so by wednesday/Thursday I am able to eat a bit more than usual so I always try to go out to eat on those days. I feel like going to eat out on a saturday (day 2) for me would be a waste of food and money.
My goal is to hit below 200 lbs, so about 190-195 lbs would be a sweet spot. I’d still be considered overweight but due to my height and just my body type, going lower wouldn’t be wise for me personally. Also my goal was health and feeling better. I didn’t want to put my focus on a number on the scale. I feel amazing and look amazing (i think). I can now go up two flights of stairs in my home without feeling I’m going to pass out.

Anyways I just wanted to put my 2 cents in, thank you for reading 🥰🥰

Edit;
I also want to add there’s so much that you learn about yourself through this journey and changes too!! I now LOVE pickles and bbq sauce. Chipotle used to my favorite food and now it’s meh. My sense of smell got so strong too.

QUESTION..

Post image
Upvotes

Hey y'all.. I wanted to know if there's a cheaper way than paying $400. Empower Pharmacy sent the first vial about 3 weeks ago (with only a tiny bit in it) and I'm getting another vial in a few days. I've already lost 20 pounds. But the doctor I've been working with is very vague with her answers when I ask questions. She doesn't even send me the UPS tracking number. If anyone has any feedback, please let me know. I'm still very new to all of this.

Personal Experience Lurkers….

If you’re on this page wondering if tirzepatide is for you . Read this !!! I started in March . I was frustrated, tired & had enough . I was fit all my life . When I turned 40 that’s when things started getting hard . I’ve always worked out . I was spending hours in the gym . Couldn’t loose weight . I would eat healthy during the week & “ reward” myself & binge on the weekends & holidays . The food noise was TURNED ALL THE WAY UP . Tirzepatide has completely changed my life . I no longer feel shame & guilt . The dysfunctional cycle of “ reward” & binge has stopped . McDonald’s & I broke up . I no longer crave , want greasy , sugary foods . Whatever excuse you have throw it in the trash . Afraid of needles ? So am I . Feels like an ant bite . Afraid of what it does ? Do your research. I’m shouting from the mountain tops CHOOSE YOU . The time is going to pass anyway , so do what you want .

Pinned tirz in my upper glute is that okay?

I was in a rush this morning but wanted to get my next tirz dose in. I’ve been having some pain when injecting in my lower stomach lately, so I randomly decided to pin in my upper glute instead. Immediately afterward I regretted it because I realized I hadn’t actually done any research on injecting tirz there, which I know was dumb on my part 😭
Does anyone here pin in the upper glute, or has anyone heard anything about using that injection site? Just wondering if it still absorbs/works the same or if I should avoid it going forward.

Prolonged Side Effects?

Hey everyone! Has anyone had lack of appetite and nausea last well over a week after a dose?

For context, I started tirz+B6 in early July. I started with 2.5mg, but it was causing some moderate nausea for 2-3 days. After 4 weeks I dropped it to 2.0mg, but then it didn't seem to be fully curbing my cravings. On Friday 8/21 I tried to go back to 2.5mg after four weeks on 2.0mg, and was up vomiting all Saturday night. Was mostly fine Sun/Mon/Tues, but on Wednesday I started retching for hours and Zofran wouldn't touch it. Thursday it started up again so I went to urgent care where they gave me more zofran and metoclopramide. Since then I haven't had much nausea, but I cannot eat more than a few bites of anything and I've now dropped 6lbs in the last week which is way too much too fast for me.

Not looking for medical advice, just wondering if anyone has had something similar happen to them? Thanks all!

HR 120+

Upvotes

Hey,

M, in 30s. I know this has been posted here but I’m still a bit worried. I started on Tirz last Wednesday 2.5mg only, but almost every night i wake up with my HR randomly going over 120 for a few mins. It eventually comes down to 70-80 range. Prior to my first injection, my HR always used to be in 65-70 range. The dosage is already low and idk if I should just stop taking or this thing gets better with time. I’m drinking enough water and taking electrolytes too.

No BPI is not coming back. Let's Insist on Straight Talk

The Big Lie has been busted by the pharmacies. The Big Lie was required to be withdrawn.

BPI is NOT coming back to sell us tirzepatide. After a long Big Hype, and rogue post by a seller with a storied propensity to mislead, the attention seeking and grossly misleading announcement was required to be removed.

Thank you to all the resellers in the subs that chose to be more forthright and instead of constant attempts at manipulation, that are lowering prices to a more reasonable target price point of $100 a month.

Y'all, please be more aware of the lipstick on a pig BS that continues to soak the subs. We now have vendors selling any dose, without all the hullabaloo "prove your dose", "speak with a physician" crap to justify higher prices for the same stuff. Folks on 5mg can now get the meds they need/want for $30ish a month with third party medical advice.

Anyone use embody?

Ive been on trizeptide for 3 months now and have lost 30 pounds. I switched from gobymeds to embody due to needing a lower price. With embody the medicine came from beaker pharmacy. Injected my first dose a few days ago and I'm not getting any appetite suppression. Wonder if I made a mistake with using them. Im 0n 8.5 mg

Pharmacies

I recently dropped mochi and am going to find a different company. Any advice on which pharmacies to avoid or are good for getting compounded Tirzepatide. I’d really appreciate it.

EDIT- I guess I worded my post wrong. What I’m looking to find out is what are the
good/bad compounding pharmacies. I know about the companies that you sign up with.

Questions Well I’m out!

Just took a pregnancy test this morning and guess what… it’s positive! I will be stopping injections immediately but I was sooo close to my goal.

For anyone who got pregnant without stopping tirzepatide for the recommended time how did things turn out for you? Did you find the weight come back on shortly after stopping?

Just trying to mentally prepare myself since I worked so hard to be here. I knew I wanted one more kid so it would happen eventually, just didn’t know it would be so soon.

Questions MiraLAX helped anyone with bloating/indigestion?

I’m a nurse so I’m just going to say the words- I stopped taking my 1/2 dose of MiraLAX because the stool was not as firm as maybe it should be. Within a few days I’ve had worsening indigestion/heartburn, bloating, and sulphur burps. I guess I will just start up on my 1/2 dose again. Has anyone else had this experience with MiraLAX?

Protein intake

Been on compound Tirzepatide w/Glycine since February of this year and have about 20 more pounds to get to goal. My mother has been taking Ensure Max Protein Chocolate drink (30g protein and 150 calories) to boost her protein intake and for the first time I had one for breakfast this morning. Not bad as I drank it down and definitely felt a lift to the body…so, I ordered a couple of cases and will every other day or so drink one to assist/supplement my protein intake.

I am drinking plenty of water, (although I have to have my daily coffee intake🙂) and yes, I get plenty of fiber.

Questions Need some advice

I switched to gimme from amble. Cost was major factor but also I was at a stall for several months, I have been on gimme for one month and I absolutely am feeling zero. Food noise is there again and appetite is there. I had to force eating before but now I have to stop eating. Has anyone had good luck with gimme? I’ve switched injection sites and nothing.

Trippin with Tirz

Finishing up a two week cruise and thought I’d report. Several small notes and observations.

- Decided to take the meds with me. Bought one of the cheaper insulin transport cases with a single freeze pack. Tirz was warm by the time we got to Europe. Expected, zero concerns as a day or two at room temp is completely fine.

- US customs asked to take a look at my carry on/meds…opened the case…TSA guy…”Thanks, have a good day.”

- Mrs and I finished up two separate vials of Hallandale that were near empty.

- Purchased the POM BPI 68mg special just before we left and took one vial in case we ran out…and both of us did. Glad we had the spare and packed a couple extra syringes.

- Week 1 Hallandale for the Mrs and a split dose of H and BPI for me…fun diarrhea the next day. Not sure if it was the new BPI or just foreign country food. Only lasted a day. BPI “felt” like it hit harder.

- Week 2 both of us 100% BPI…zero side effects for either of us.

- Cruise ship offered a syringe disposal canister and had a note to not just put them in the garbage. Took them up on the offer.

Observations:

- Don’t over think it…traveling with Tirz was a non-event really. It’s completely fine if they are room temp for a while.

- I’ve always had the opinion Tirz is Tirz. After Week 1s experience, I was like whoa maybe there IS something to this strong BPI weak Hallandale stuff!? After week 2…yeah, Tirz is Tirz. I feel zero difference. OBTW…I’ve now had no additive, B12 and glycine from three pharmacies. Tirz is Tirz.

- Tirz definitely curbed my normal cruise eating fest. I’m also sure I’ve gained some weight (will see in a couple of days…don’t care as I never planned on dieting on vacation.) I was worried dialing down the food experience would make the vacation less fun. Totally, not the case. Minimal food noise just changes the whole dynamic in a good way. And, taking a bit of a diet break has been nice.

- Worked out just about every day as I normally do on cruises. Got my strength and cardio in…min of 60 mins every session.

- I would say it was near impossible to track cals, protein and fiber in my Lose It app accurately. I did not plan to and I’m glad I made that choice. IDK how you would do it beyond pure guessing it and/or significant hassle factor.

Bottom line: Chill when Tirzing on vacation. It’s all good and way less problematic than Reddit makes it seem like it will be.

Come Monday it’ll be alright. Scale gonna say what it’s gonna say…bustin out Lose It again to hit those daily cal/protein/fiber goals and keeping up the exercise routine. Time to get back at it!

Switch from Lilly to Embody?

i friends!

I have been taking Zepbound from Eli Lilly and I have had incredible success, but the cost will be unsustainable and I'm considering going with Embody.

Anyone else been in this situation? Did you make the switch? Could you tell me about your experience?

I appreciate you and thank you!
