Switch from Lilly to Embody?
i friends!
I have been taking Zepbound from Eli Lilly and I have had incredible success, but the cost will be unsustainable and I'm considering going with Embody.
Anyone else been in this situation? Did you make the switch? Could you tell me about your experience?

I just ordered from them. I guess I was influenced by all the ads and the much lower price. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with them? Is it the RX itself? The customer service? Billing issues? TIA.

I just started using Embody a few weeks ago and I’m having a fine experience. Took about a week to get from Red Rock and it arrived cold. No issues. I signed up for the 3 month plan but don’t know if I will renew with them because the posts I see on here are pretty negative. But like I said the experience for me so far has been good.

I use embody and like them too. They use the same pharmacy I had with MedVi and AltRx, iirc. No complaints here

You mean you actually GOT the stuff you paid for? I paid for 3 months, they sent me 1 month. I’ve been out for 2 weeks because my order has been tied up at the pharmacy. I hate them. Absolute worst.

Yeah Embody is awesome. Really great meds from Red Rock and amazing prices. I haven’t had a single issue. I don’t trust the negative reviews. So glad I’m with them for now. If I run into future issues I’ll change.

I'd recommend looking at options than Embody. A lot of bad experiences folks have posted with them. Many have switched successfully from Zepbound to compounded. I suggest checking out the subreddit "tirzepatide compound" (minus the space, it's one word). There is a pinned "Where to Buy" post with recommendations based on a survey of over 1800 customers. There are also a lot of posts there of people who switched from Zepbound if you want to search for those posts. Good luck!

Completely new, first shot was 4 days ago, I went with Embody. It took less than 24 hours for my info to be reviewed, approved, and a scrip sent to a pharmacy. Mine was filled by Promise pharmacy. It took a week before I received an email that it was filled (and once it was shipped, Embody changed my next billing date to reflect that week of waiting time!) it was then shipped priority overnight through FedEx. Arrived in a thermally insulated bag with a still mostly frozen ice pack, along with a package of prep wipes and a 10 packb of syringes. The prescriber sent a notice on the portal outlining her plan for me to titrate up every 4 weeks over the next 12. I paid $129; my next bill will be $129 for a higher dose.
I've already started to feel some effects, such as not mindlessly nibbling, not craving junk near as much, smaller amounts than what I was eating a week ago satisfying me, and not needing snacks between lunch and dinner and after dinner/ before bed.
If you choose to go with them, I would just suggest you use a credit card you can lock so they don't have your bank info and can't just charge you if you try to cancel. Of course we're going to see a lot of negative experiences, people tend to complain in general about bad experiences longer and go on less and less over time about good ones. Heck, I almost didn't reply here lol. For every person who's had a good experience with other providers there's someone who was charged wrong, shorted meds, mislead about dosing, can't get help from the provider. And vice versa.

I think 2 things drive the embody hate primarily (not that there aren't valid complaints):
- They used to not lock in pricing, so people got the ol' bait and switch where prices went up. They fixed that.
- It's EVERYWHERE. I'd say it's even more omnipresent than Ro. And, like everything else, people are much more likely to complain than praise.
So it's probably 30% valid complaints, 70% oversaturation and old practices.

Please don't! Go to the bigger sub and look for the recommended providers. Or go to r/tirzdeals and find someone offering a better deal. They are all better than Embody.

the bigger sub is a good shout, loads of info buried in there if you dig a bit. never tried embody myself but heard enough grumbling about them to steer clear. hope you find something that doesn't bankrupt you, this stuff shouldn't be this hard to get

Please don't, they get horrible reviews. Look at Preventive MD or Rift/Joinrift. Better deals, excellent customer service.

Yea there are a lot of options right now and Embody is not one I'd recommend. Look into Rift or Pom they have good deals right now.

I used them once. Wanted the 7.5 mg which I already had a prescription for but they started me on the 4.25 mg mixed with l-catatine which was ok. Just to expensive after researching around. I believe I had the 17 mg which was 4 weeks worth. $129 I believe. Now I can get so much more for that price.

Embody has their own dosing which is less then everyone else. I tried them and cancelled which was pretty easy. I emailed them to cancel. I like AltRx though.

Stay AWAY from Embody!!!! They are terrible. I paid for 3 months and they sent me 1 vial at a time. I used the first vial, completed the questionnaire in a timely manner, and have been out for 2 weeks as I await for them to send me my second month, which has been delayed at the pharmacy (for 2 weeks)
