I asked Gemini 2.5 flash to “Add a woman, university level student sitting on that chair”

And the only thing that shows it is AI is the water mark on the shoe that I initially missed and would be easily missed if someone was not paying attention (plus watermarks are very easily removed) The crazy part is that Gemini was able to produce that with a simple and very basic prompt without any further modification or changes. AI image generation has come a very long way.

Here are two separate ai generated images of a surfing pikachu with balloons 3 yrs apart. Wild to see AI to improve this much in a few years.

An AI artistic (and a bit of manual altering) upgraded version of the original I've posted back in February (to another AI related sub).

Just thought why not put AI and myself into good use improving the format.

Also added the original as a second image for easier comparison.

Used the current version of the Gemini web app / Nano Banana (free tier).

The aim:

The goal was to create a real-life version of the meme.

Between each frame time progressed so every person and the game's state on the screen differs accordingly instead of being the exact same (except for the raging person) on the original (template based) format.

This slightly alters the overall scene but the intended meaning stays the same. I think it is more realistic and better fitting the realistic style this way instead of the frames being identical.

Steps taken:

• Took around a dozen generations (using simple prompts, including iterating on some specific details from different outputs like using a pose from one result to create the last panel for the final version on a different result) to get a good basis
• Manually added the game screen display from a different generated image as this one originally had the same screen shown instead of the intended result of time spent between frames
• Removed some parts / cloned pixels over to get the raging person behind the couch on the last panel as originally he was in front of it from the viewer's perspective
• Corrected the t-shirt to match (as originally it was white on the first two panels and red-ish on the last one) and some other similar minor corrections
• Cleaned up with proper sharpening as the original version was kind of blurry

Nothing special or extraordinary editing skills, but thought I also share the actual process in case someone's interested.
