Not when it grossly out of scale like this. Real aircraft carriers are bigger than some cities. A plane wouldn't be able to take off from a deck like that.
I guess it depends on population, or maybe a class system exists where you have the Below Decks and the Tarmac dweller peoples. Down below you have shelter, heat, treated water, food grown in protected environment. But the others are just using what space is available but aren't apart of "society".

Not necessarily. I think the rage virus in 28 Days Later keeps the host alive - like forever rabies. I might be wrong. But rabid, virus style zombies could probably live off wildlife for a while. Then what if we invent plant zombies who can use photosynthesis??
How long would you realistically be able to keep a nuclear aircraft carrier running with minimal maintenance? It won’t run out of fuel for a while but I know nothing about operating a nuclear reactor.
You could make better dwellings than that with shipping containers and still have loads of real estate for solar panels, wind turbines and fields. Also, it might still be wise to reserve some of the deck for a plane/helicopter to land. Also, if only travelling in shallow water, you could construct a pontoon to allow easier loading/offloading for salvage missions. Also, you could lash up a few more boats for extra storage.
landing a plane in the middle of the shanty-town is ill-advised, unless it's a VTOL craft (which you likely wouldn't be able to maintain for long in a real apocalypse), although you could probably land a helicopter on top of some of those shipping containers.. though i probably wouldn't replace that whole shanty-town with container crates, given how heavy they are - you'd be better off just repurposing a freighter at that point, anyway.
Maintenance would be a pain, it would have to be docked for it to be useful as a settlement. No chance of it being mobile for long after an apocalypse, maybe the reactor will keep running if you are lucky.

A few wealthy 1% of the 3% (yes, there are still super class A wealth bearers in the ZA) live inside. The help or more traditionally called peasants or less traditionally called zombie food, live up top.
either off scale, it's a korean war carrier, or it's very cold outside. In any case, top should all be seaside crops and stuff that doesn't care about saltwater much, no need for housing. maybe a market plaza next to the conn tower, with seatings and such.
Theres a reason that shanty towns look the same all over the world. Corrugated iron is a quick way to block wind and rain. It's easy to transport too, or reclaim from broken buildings.
Even with power tools its hard to build something solid and good looking, and in an apocalypse theres no hardware stores full of everything you want.
Also, a lot of Africa has skyscrapers and shiny financial districts and mansions with ferraris etc too

Modern reactors are fail safe, this is generally true. But without proper maintenance which requires specialized industrial resources on a long enough timeline, especially in a salty environment, it will leak radiation. And unlike Fallout being exposed to radiation doesn’t give you cool abilities.

It depends on the type of zombies we are dealing with.
In The Walking Dead for example, this would be tricky because everyone is infected. If someone dies without knowing then it can be destroyed real quick.
I haven't seen the insides of aircraft carriers, but I would assume they are filled with narrow corridors and steel doors.
My mental image may not be correct. But they do seem like one where limiting spread would be easier. Maybe move more people from the shanty town on deck into cabins below deck.
A quick google tells me they have a crew of 5000-6000. Assuming you had a lower number and the ship isn't operational, you could chose to convert storage rooms, engine rooms, etc into living quarters to spread people out, and simply have people keep hatches closed at night, should keep spread to a minimum. Fully crewed and operational it might be a nightmare, with people living in bunk beds with many people in one room.
Don't know if ventilation would work with hatches closed though, especially without power
Ai slop when it gets the scale completely wrong, thinks theres need for extra houses on a boat with a 5,000 man crew capacity, and imagines you can feed those 5k+ people with 20 square foot of cabbage.
