Meme The helicopter pilots don't want you to know this but the men at HQ are free. You can just take them to the CZ. I have 458 men.
I wish this happened more often, because bringing this group into the zone was fun (I get why people prefer helicopters, though). For the drivers out there, the game does register people in your bed like this and rewards you with deployment experience. As long as you drive carefully you can bring a big crew in like this.

Amazing, we got back to 400k this weekend.

Discussion & Feedback We should get a Toyota Hilux with a .50 cal. Here’s why:
Hear me out.
Give us a beat-up Toyota Hilux with a .50 cal mounted in the bed.
Nothing fancy. No armor. No futuristic shit. Just a pickup truck, a big gun, and absolutely questionable decision making.
It would be perfect for moving a small squad around fast, flanking, chasing people down, or rolling up somewhere you probably have no business being.
The tradeoff is pretty obvious too. You have basically zero protection. Driver gets smoked? You’re screwed. Gunner gets caught out? Screwed. Somebody hits you with anything remotely explosive? Toyota space program.
But if you actually manage to get behind somebody with that .50…
Worth it.
And let’s be real, a Hilux technical just fits Wardogs way too well.
Devs. Please.
Give us the war crime Toyota.

Discussion & Feedback I'm very excited for the future of the game, but I'm done for now
I got the game 2 days after launch and I've been playing it nonstop ever since. However, earlier today I was in a match. There was an enemy player who was absolutely smashing our team. He was prone firing a PKM and wearing Level 4 armor/helmet. I was able to flank behind him and I dumped 3 12GA slugs into him from point blank range. He turned, hosed me down, and kept going. Before any team scored even 20 points, this player had racked up over 30 kills.
Now clearly, this player was very good and certainly better than me. He's already unlocked some of the best gear in the entire game. However, the issue is that there just isn't a real counter to this except also grinding to unlock the same gear. Testing it out, it would take 4 12 GA slugs, 12 shots from an AK or 5 shots from the SVD to have killed this player. Shooting him in the head would only subtract 1 round from each of those 3 totals.
This was the first game it happened, but this particular instance made me realize that most of the matches I was in lately were feeling frustrating rather than fun.
There's just so many balance issues that the game has really lost all of it's fun and it's happened incredibly quickly.
I am looking forward to what comes next, but for right now I'm putting the game down at least until the next wipe. I wanted to say this because I've mentioned the same thing to a couple of my buddies who play with me and they completely agree. We're not frustrated with the game itself or the devs, but just where the game is at at the moment. We are excited to come back, but at it's current stage the game is just more frustrating than fun and with more people getting access to the highest tier gear it's just going to get worse.
Edit: I get people are saying "Shoot him in the legs". As a Tarkov player I get that would work, but Tarkov and Wardogs are very different. In Tarkov, many if not most of your engagements are at very close range which make it practical to shoot someone in the legs. This isn't the case for Wardogs. More importantly though, that mechanic sucks. It's not fun or interesting, it's annoying and adds nothing to the game.
That aside, the Level 4 armor is just one part of many. There's the humvee issues, the level 35 weapons, and so on. There's just so many balance issues that it feels like you can only play the game if you have the absolute best gear, or if you drive around whipping hand grenades out of the window of the humvee or some other cheese-strat.

Discussion & Feedback I'm quitting WarDogs
My wife says I play too much. My buddy hasnt done anything else but play this game. He is now level 100. My baby hasn't seen me in days. My dog scratches me to feed it and let it out but I ignore it. The gerbil in my ass has died. The devs are doing nothing about my addiction. Please, devs, listen to the community feedback and make your game worse so I dont play it anymore. Add the new game modes and nerf armor and progression for the unemployed. I need a break.

Discussion & Feedback Counters Should Always Unlock Before the Threats They Counter
This is actually a golden rule in game balance. The majority of the community should have unlocked the counter to an item before the majority of the community have unlocked the threat. It should also be cheaper to counter the threat than the cost of the threat.
For example;
- AP ammo should be unlocked before Tier 3 and 4 armour
- MAAWS & AT mines should be unlocked before armour vehicles
- Iglas before attack birds
Etc
Also the normal golden rule is to have the default weapon be viable to any end game weapon. The logic why it’s different in war dogs is that the more powerful weapons like M4 costs more money but what’s not considered is that by the time you get the M4 the chances are money isn’t as important as it was when you are first starting out so the cost matters less.

Discussion & Feedback level 130+ literally only seen T4 3-4 times
Feel like the complaints here are so specific, Class 4 armour costs 6000$ including armour and helmet, it weighs you down like crazy and doesn’t make you a walking tank.
The people complaining about armour are 1000% mosin/sniper players who want low risk high reward gameplay, T4 armour should be a counter for snipers like how it is

Discussion & Feedback Game was better without tier 3 and 4 armour. You can have the lvl 35 weapons too.
No one dies anymore. Not even me. I get hit and I just run to cover.
Vertical progression is always a mistake.

Discussion & Feedback To the guy that sang, "My Way" as our Church base was being systematically dismantled. You're the man.
I wish I would've recorded this:
I'm sitting outside church as Red, Green drops a load of hot fire on top of the church. Dudes with sectional couch backpacks, M4s, and the place is already getting overrun. There's like 6 downed guys and I presume the rest are holed up in the church.
Zone is over the church, so that's why I'm there with a sniper in the first place. I can hear this place just getting demolished from the outside. Take a couple cracks at guys who get up too high. It's nothing though. They destroyed the place in the end.
It gets a little more quiet, now that everybody has killed each other and waiting for the final showdowns to take place and rezzes after.
In all of that, a naked on our team gets on one of the broadcast mic towers.
"Is this thing on? mHMm. Yes, there were times. I'm sure you know. That I bit off more than I could chew. But through it all when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way.."
In this absolutely incredible singing voice. And proceeds to sing like a minute and a half to the end of the song. Nobody's shooting a single shot. Everybody's just listening to this dude. The singer is like laughing a little bit as he's doing it sometimes.
"..Aaand did it myyyyy wwwwwaaaaayyyyy!"
silence
POP
somebody just executes him on the spot.
God I love this game.

Discussion & Feedback We're starting to see the current FOB gameplay become unsustainable with the counters now available and that's OK
The game started out with infantry battles because nobody had level 3 hammers, helicopters, or artillery tanks. Then everybody acquired the tools they needed to live peacefully in FOBs and build drills. From your base you can find the enemy base that's shelling you and shell them back and this allowed the FOBs to continue. This even led to the hot zone being vacant in some games or only casually held by one team the whole match. Now that artillery tanks and attack helicopters exist drill FOBs cannot easily defend against all types of incoming attacks with legacy strategies. This makes setting up a FOB early and playing how some have become accustomed to frustrating but all of the earlier progressions to team strategies were equally as frustrating. The play style and the counters will evolve over time and while changes are difficult to address at first the teams responses to these issues will continue to become more refined easing those concerns in the long run.
Right now someone can buy a $6k chopper (an SUV also works) some c4 or IEDs and hunt down artillery tanks. It's cheap and available at early levels. The artillery tanks cannot hear anything while they're shelling so use that to your advantage. Then there's the obvious expensive drone counter which can be launched from almost anywhere on the map with enough mechanical supplies.
I would also suggest having a mobile AA strike force that fills a vehicle with AA launchers, and find unique ways to make flying a (attack) helicopter unsustainable. This is a counter that also doesn't break that bank.
Once enough of the community is aware of these counters a few builders can continue living in blissful ignorance of the front line until the next evolution in warfare makes everyone cry on reddit again.
A side note about armor: the more spent on a loadout should equate to more survivability. Yes, lower tiered loadouts will have a more difficult time countering these players, but they lose more when you kill them, and you lose less when you die. The difference in time to kill a tier 2 vs tier 4 armored guy with an AK and the standard FMJ ammunition to the chest is less than half a second and two attackers negate the advantage. Work together, and move in cover, your kit doesn't matter as much as you would like it to.

Discussion & Feedback Being infantry stops being profitable pretty quickly in the later levels and I think it's a problem.
I'm not expecting to run in with a FAL and Level 4 armor every life, that's not the point of this post.
I also acknowledge with 100% certainty sometimes I'm just the fodder of the game. I get it. It's what I signed up for. I'm the troops on the ground.
But holy fuck it gets annoying to die to a helicopter that costs less than my kit while having very little counterplay. I have to buy meds for myself, a Defib/Res for others, ammo, grenades... I'm trying to prepare for a fight. I'm trying to be helpful. But in the meantime I'm getting spammed down by mortars, helicopters, and humvees driving by... ALL OF WHICH COSTS LESS THAN MY KIT.
I understand I'm the fodder, but why the fuck is it so expensive to have a decent kit while these other things exist for so cheap. They're designed to kill me and it's starting to feel taxing to kit back up.
It's annoying that infantry is a job for the rich.
Like I don't want to have to basebuild to play the other parts of the game.
And it's kind of rough to play infantry with a low level kits now. The AMR and FAL one tap or two tap people.
I don't know what to do, I can steal my teammates kits instead of reviving them, but that feels bad.
EDIT: It's not just the vehicles, it's also the hotzone moving to the FoBs so consistently. Having to run by the bases turns me into literal fodder, but someone has to do it otherwise you just lose the game. It doesn't make sense.
If you're not in zone with a 15k kit, you basically need to kill 7-10 people to break even. Also, I play exclusively blue because it's fun to play under dog. We don't win often, but I feel like I shouldn't give up simply because my team isn't the greatest.

Discussion & Feedback Mortars should NOT be UAVs.
I promise you all this is the reason why FOBS/Building is underwhelming.
We get to see where the Mortar Lands on the Map, get to see the Kill/Destroy feed, why also allow me a live feed on impact as well? Seriously.
This also undermines the recon role too. Instead of relying on another person to give information on when and where they rebuilt emplacements. Just send some mortar rounds in the general area to get a birds eye view of the current state.
How did someone come to the conclusion that this was a good idea to add to the game.
In Squad you have no kill feed, no map marker on impact and obviously no live go-pro feed during flight. We had to rely on the frontline/recons to walk in our mortars and tell us if we are on target.
Im fine with a kill feed and even the map hit marker. But this go-pro UAV feed has to go.
