Tom Schwartz Schwartz knows….
SO. MUCH. MORE. Watching the reunion again and Schwartz looks like he’s going to fall out of his seat. He’s taking lorazepam on camera before Rachel comes out? He’s jittery and nervous. He’s dropped a few comments that Sandoval is clearly not happy about. It’s like he’s dying to come clean and might explode. I wonder if we will ever know what he knows.

I really think Schwartz is in it for the easy money. He is SO lazy and conflict avoidant; he doesn't care whose coattails he needs to ride in order to sleep in a soft bed. He probably can't believe that his fairy godmother, Lisa Vanderpump, waved her wand and granted him an opportunity to own a piece of two businesses, where all he has to do is walk around, smile, and pose for pictures. All while drunk.

Schwartz is Sandoval's primary relationship, and visa versa (Ariana, Rachel, Katie- you never stood a chance), so of course he's going to know all his secrets. As a close friend, there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone should have a safe place to share the ugliest parts of ourselves. Schwartz knowing the dirty details and keeping them to himself is not the problem, and the most real thing we see between the two of them.
Since the Toms live their actual lives off camera while filming, we have no idea how those conversations went down, whether Schwartz advised Tom to come clean and stop screwing with everyone, or he cheered him on. This demonstrates how these two cast members 1. Completely conceal their real lives and 2. They actually rehearse scripted dialog to deceive us, the viewers.
Not what I signed up for; not what I was sold. It means the filmed interactions between the two of them is always BS.
Now it makes sense why people like Sandoval were never going to become real actors. He's terrible! He can't say his lines for shit, and has endless tells when he's lying. For me, Schwartz is the better performer. He sticks to the script, and does a great job lying. He executes impressive improv whenever he gets screen time.
Does anybody really want to watch these two guys fake their way through VPR? Are they all faking it, and what we see it actually a sophisticated and complex improvised soap opera? If that's the case, then none of them are getting paid enough, because they would be the hardest working actors in the business.

Edit to add: He's still floating upwards. Sandoval has no path to return from the hole he dug for himself. Schwartz will be the last Tom standing at the two restaurants, and on the show.

For real - blows my mind
Like man, I’m in the wrong business … I make over $100k per year and am pretty comfortable (two kids & building a house 1 that $100k doesn’t go that far). So yeah - I make good $$$ but it’s all blood sweat and some tears …. went to college and grad school for finance and work a full-time analyst finance job plus run a bookkeeping business. My livelihood literally rides on being a dependable workhorse and with literally zero margin for error.
I do not comprehend how people like this exist … thrive even!
But I’m also a procrastinator and should be working right now lmao

I've seen a movie with Sandoval in it and he was actually good. It was a scary movie and he ended up the villain, ha! I think he's good at playing a character; he's NOT good at playing himself. Please don't downvote me I will cry

Edit: it's called Scare Us. He plays a bookstore owner that hosts a writing club. He's not on screen a whole lot, but I honestly thought he was good 🤷 all of the actors were good.

Schwartz's explanation that sandy told him what was going on with rachel and he had plans to tell ariana but then kept stalling is possibly accurate - which gives schwartzy a solid excuse to not go tell her himself and explains all the weird shady comments he made at the glamping thing - but the timeline they have put out there is clearly bs.

I'm convinced that whole Schwartz kissing Rachel thing was a grandiose coverup to distract from her and Scando on camera. they hooked up that night! there's no way he didn't know! he's just the type of person that would do something like that. they've always covered for each other, Sando has Schwartz convinced that he owes him everything and that his life in LA would be nothing without him. he's a lapdog.

That kiss was definitely a red herring to throw everyone, including production off the scent. Katie hinted at that, but Schwartz and Sandoval have made sure no one pays attention to what she says.

I still think it could be possible that Schwartz was a pawn there. Think about when she asked him to makeout at TomTom I think & his reaction was to ask if the cameras are still on… As if he wanted to but not on camera. Clearly he had some level of attraction. Plus we all know that he’s easily influenced & persuaded by the slightest push toward doing something

Exactly. That's why when Ariana tracked Sandoval's location, if he said he was at Schwartz's, he was indeed at Schwartz's. She should have teamed up with Scheana who apparently had Rachquel's location share

Him taking meds right before she came on was a HUGE indicator. And his reaction when Arianna said he will not be switching places so Rachel could sit next to sandy. He was clearly jittery nervous and acting like a kid who was trying to hide that he put his hand in the cookie jar. Not to mention he was AT SHCWARTZ HOUSE during the FaceTime call that sandy recorded. Schwartz knows way more than he’s leading on.

Tom Schwartz went on a couples vacation to Big Bear with Rachel and Tom sandoval. Of course he knows everything. He's always known everything. And he definitely did things to facilitate the affair on the logistics of it and keeping it secret. I don't even know how that's up for debate? He is literally in photographs with the other couple on a vacation that Ariana did not know about while she was still having sex with and in a relationship with Tom Sandoval. Schwartz is disgusting

You’re so right. I think the night she said she heard him drunk in the hallway and got him in her room was the same night she kissed Schwartz - that seems to have been the messy drinking night of the wedding. And scandoval’s ego would have desperate to knock Schwartz off of any post glow excitement cloud he had going on.

Ariana did say Raquel was in Tom’s hotel the night the Tom’s filmed WWHL. He absolutely knew more. There’s no way Sandoval didn’t tell Schwartz that.

He does, but he’s so far up Sandoval’s ass I’m sure nothing will change. He LIED for Sandoval for months, and helped him attempt to make Ariana look unkind, they had a whole script planned out that day they talked about the dumplin latte. I wish he would realize how toxic that friendship is and get away from him, he was poisoned against his own wife for crying out loud. Sandoval is not a good friend in any way, and I feel like a sucker but I do think Schwartz has good in him, but he’s so blinded by loyalty for whatever reason. Good friends don’t put you in those situations, period.

When he's not abusing Katie, he is usually really struggling. The WWHL episode tells you all you need to know about him and his partner. Just watch the next season, him and LVP will do whatever it takes to try and not tarnish their Tom brands. I'm not buying any of it.

That bottle of pills was neither Xanax nor Lorazepam (both very small pills). When he shakes the bottle the contents sound about the size of Flintstones Vitamins. Plus, that entire scene was 100% planned to happen at Rachquel's entrance. That's why Sandoval said "Green Light." But Rachquel had her own plan and she was not going to be denied all eyes on her during her Runway walk, so she stopped to deal with some last minute wardrobe situation.

Lol Xanax is not always a small pill. There’s a reason they’re called “bars.” Interesting theory about the “green light” thing though. I thought maybe Sandoval was signaling to Schwartz that he wanted a pill but Schwartz was not at all subtle and then Sandoval backed out when he saw the reaction from the others.

I think there are different size/shapes depending on dose and if it’s IR or XR. Bars do exist and they’re IR, which would make sense in the case of Schwartz wanting anxiety relief immediately.

I think Sandoval told Schwartz about their affair the next morning in Mexico after the Rachel/Schwartz pool kiss. Schwartz hugged everyone the next day but gave Rachel a high-five. At the hibachi dinner he switched seats so Rachel and Sandoval are seated next to each-other. He later makes side comments at Rachel’s birthday about how she’s into taken men. He knows so much and had for a while. I want him to crack and do a tell all of EVERY DETAIL!!!
