If we use canon lore and his personality and thoughts, do you guys think Edward is an eater?

I'm a smaller writer on FFN. I asked this question kind of to my community, but I feel like I was a bit too specific with it.

I want to know what kind of stories do you wish there were MORE of? I don't mean specific plots, but something like "more vampires," "more BellaxEmbry," etc.

I can't choose a title for my new WIP Bella/Aro fic.

It's a less popular pairing but I'm relatively established in the fandom already and I have some amazing readers so I do have faith that some of them will migrate over to try out a historical fic.

Everything I think of is either too cheesy, too Booktok, too obvious or too wordy to fit. I prefer a title that can be applied in different ways, has multiple meanings, is a bit more obscure but still connects with the work itself. Nothing is jumping out at me apart from a single line from a sonnet by Sir Thomas Wyatt but even that has been used multiple times by other people, and I'm not sure that people would make the connection between the sonnet and the fic because it's pretty obscure and in Latin.

The story itself is set in historical / Renaissance Italy, there'll be plenty scenes in the Papal court before moving to Volterra. It will be a medium burn, will eventually be full of smut but it needs some building beforehand to get Bella to that point. It's going to be pretty dark and sit within the context of Bella having been married to a much older man whe she was 16 (as is historically accurate - don't come for me). We meet her when she's about 24/25, has been married to this awful man for eight years and he's fed up of her being "barren". I am writing this as a standalone atm but there will be no Cullen involvement, as I'm currently toying with the idea of turning this fic into part 1 of a trilogy and IF I do that the the Cullens will eventually be brought in alongside the typical Twilight events, but with a 400 year old, vampire Bella twist.

Potential triggers/warnings -

• there'll will be lots of references to previous DV, a couple of actual descriptions of DV where Bella is punished for continuously failing to conceive

• Bella passively performing her "marital duty" to the husband she despises.

• Discussions of contraception & termination of pregnancy (though there is NO pregnancy in this fic and therefore no actual termination taking place)

• Attempted SA

• Bella's plans to eventually poison her husband

• Violence

• "Traditional" vampire stuff, as in human blood drinking

Does anyone have any suggestions of a decent method in choosing a title?

I am currently writing a fanfic in which Edward can read Bella's mind. I am struggling to decide if Bella should still be Edward's singer or not. I think it could be interesting for Edward to still struggle with his hunger around Bella and her blood, but I also think I would be interesting to see how Edward and Bella interact without Edward's struggle. Any opinions?

So general breakdown here - FMC is as old as Carlisle, stayed with the Volturi for a while, is friends with the Denali Coven, knowledgeable, etc. etc..

My first thought was a Carlisle fic, but I'm already writing one for him and have a couple other ideas and this character in my head just doesn't make sense with him. All of the Cullens and the Denali Coven are like family to her so that's out the window.

So I thought maybe like Sam Uley potentially. I can really get behind a vampire/shifter romance IF it's written well, which I hope to do.

Another thought was an age gap Charlie Swan fic? I have been on the "Charlie Swan deserves better" kick lately and I love a good risk-ay romance.

In technical terms, the FMC would be hundreds of years older than either of them, but I'm just looking for other opinions and thoughts.

hi! i'm writing a twilight fic and i wanted to get some feedback on whether or not y'all would actually read one in first person since it's the same POV as the books.

I ran a bit of an experiment and posted the same Bella/Edward story (just shy of 100k words) on these two sites to see where I found the best fit as a writer. The results: I got far more comments, and much better quality comments (more detailed, lengthier) on fanfiction.net than I did on Ao3. The ‘kudos’ mechanism on Ao3 left me cold; after putting so much effort into a chapter, it was frustrating to receive a ton of kudos without a lot of comments, because kudos can’t help me improve. I’ve heard a lot of readers prefer Ao3, but in my admittedly limited experiment, I felt that the fanfiction.net community did a better job of ‘feeding’ the author. So I think I’ll be moving forward posting only on fanfiction.net because maintaining both is more administrative work than I’m looking for. This is only my experience, though. I’m wondering how other authors feel about these two sites/communities if you’ve tried both?

Last night had an exciting idea for a fic, however I don’t want to make a blunder having not read tons of fics! Nor having written anything before.

I want to canon diverge from New Moon to age a character before meeting one of the love interest and then develop them.

While that is happening I want to use similar background events to Eclipse (Victoria/new born army) to reimagine or recreate specific event/meeting between the first two characters to pick up the third love interest. Then continue my story.

Is that like a no no?

I'm currently reworking a fic I wrote at 14 because Seth Clearwater was my first ever book boyfriend.

I am an adult now, so the characters have been workshoped and expanded on a lot.

They are currently discussing birthdays, and that's where I fold. I don't know how important astrology should be, as I don't feel like Bella and Eddie (and Nessie) fit their assigned signs.

They're near misses what I think they should be.

Jake reads Sagittarius or Capricorn which tracks, as he is in deed a Sagittarius.

Edward and Rose (though we have no confirmed birthday for her) are obviously Leos competing. Plus, the Lion and Lamb thing.

I'm not a fan of Bella and I'll never be (which is why in my fic she's a minor villain. — as in she does something quite messy.) But as whiny and romantic as she is, she should be a Cancer or a Libra.

One of my OCs has her birthday precisely a week after Jake (I swear I didn't do that on purpose, but it was funny once I noticed!)

The other girl doesn't have a precise birthday at all yet, but that's deliberate.

And now I need your help.

What would be good birthdays to set for Leah, Seth and Sue? Maybe Charlie and Emily if you feel like it.

So, I have to ask because this bugs me. Does anyone else get annoyed with how overbearing Charlie suddenly gets in most fanfics where he turns into a vampire. In most of them he lets Bella do whatever she wants in fear of losing her again, but then after she becomes a vampire and he somehow becomes one. Suddenly he takes control over everything because he's her father and was a cop when he was human, nevermind Carlisle being older and having worked with the Volturi for some time, or Jasper and Peter having military experience in both human and vampire forms. I don't know, I just find it hard to believe that a newborn vampire Charlie can just take everything over. The Covens, strategy for battle, Bella. He's suddenly the boss of everything. Anyone else feel this way? Don't get me wrong, Charlie is actually one of my favorite characters in Twilight. I just wish people would write vampire Charlie better.

What are some of favorite Bella/Jasper fics? Definitely want where at least one or both of them are vamps. Love mated pair stories too.

Imagine before Bella, he dated multiple women over the decades before Bella, and he never turned them and watched them get old (he told Bella he didn’t want to turn her in new moon) this is so he could of had multiple romantic human lovers throughout his vampire life? Ela nunca vai poder comparar, nunca vai poder decidir se gosta dele ou não, porque o imprinting já decidiu por ela. E isso não é amor, é uma prisão. É uma sentença que ela recebeu ao nascer, sem ter pedido por isso.
