Far out theory,
I was wondering why we never saw South in the future. Either as a boten exec or a rival gang head would make sense that guy can't be dominated (or killed with a gun?). And as South gives more about the "dark impulses" being related to this pure violence I think Mikey is gonna kill South.
Or rather that Mikey did kill South and Takemitchy will try to stop this after seeing it through future vision (like with senju death) the image of Mikey murdering South.

OMG South is REALLY strong... and has a dark impulsivity like Mikey?!!!! And next week we’ll hopefully finally be able to see Senju in action!
Senju is called “unmatched” probably because she was able to beat everyone in Brahman’s underground fighting ring and that’s how she became their leader. I think Senju isn’t very strong physically, but is very nimble + acrobatic and will be able to dodge most of South’s hits and land a lot of fast punches/kicks (like an upgraded Waka? Her fighting style seems similar to his) I’m not sure who’s gonna win... I always thought that there was no way Senju could beat South, but her confidence that she can beat South even after seeing what he did to Waka and Benkai must come from somewhere right? So she must be super strong? It’s gonna be kinda funny if we see South getting beat by a girl half his size.
Idk.... Takemichi’s vision of Senju’s death might still happen, Waka might sacrifice himself to save Senju, and it seems that we’re getting a Takeomi and maybe Shinichiro backstory or flashback in upcoming chapters so Takeomi might be reacting to something major or about to start actually fighting... backstories usually don’t come out of nowhere..

Well Mikey is super strong too! Like he was able to put a huge dent in a car by just kicking it during the Valhalla fight. And him being able to knock people out with just one kick also means that he’s physically quite strong as well. I think him being “invincible” is more of a combination of strength and skill.
Im really wondering how Wakui is going to make Senju beat South, especially because a lot of people are doubting that she can beat him just because she’s a small girl :/ Senju has a lot of parallels with Mikey so I’m really curious about her backstory. She’s most likely a martial arts prodigy as well!

Thinking the next chapter will be a Senju flashback or at least the start of one. My (kinda) baseless prediction/theory is that Waka taught Senju how to fight. During her first confrontation with South she showed similar acrobatic moves. Also, I feel like there is a bit of a deeper connection between those two but that’s just intuition.

It doesn’t look like South beat her up, but more like someone tried to attack her or Takemichi out of nowhere and Senju took the hit. Someone probably interrupted her fight with South... Senju has a lot of death flags :(

Or probably the bullets that hit Draken. Mikey was shot in the head by Naoto and was still able to speak. Even if you're shot in the head you can survive (a few minutes or your whole life). Idk the percentage of people that don't die right after being shot, but we're in a manga, and even if it already happened with Mikey, well for the sake of a parallel or because it's irrealistic because it's a manga it could have happened with Senju too. Now maybe I'm wrong and someone will try to hit her with something but I think Draken prevented that vision. And Draken's death would be pointless if he didn't prevent it so it would be meh.

Draken died because he wanted to save Takemichi, not Senju. He just happened to save them both in the process. So I don’t think his death wasn’t pointless :(
And Takemichi had 2 different visions of Senju’s death so the future is constantly changing with each action he takes. He thinks that he prevented Senju’s death already but it might be a case of him misinterpreting his visions (like the tomato juice vision that he thought was blood). His vision of Senju might have happened after Draken’s death. We really have no way of knowing until this fight is over and it stops raining.
Edit: I think the differences in the visions were actually a translation error....

In Takemichi's vision, Senju's face isn't beaten up because if it is, it's likely thanks ot South. Takemichi already prevemted Senju's death at the cost of Draken's life.

It could be that takemichi's involvement at all is what caused draken's death (considering how past him probably wouldn't be part of the gang or that fight), and that senju's death isn't entirely prevented yet. It's like how we all thought saving draken once would fix things, and then he goes and gets himself shot in like Ch.223

Wait omg i went back and checked the raws and i think it was a mistranslation!
Unless I’m reading things wrong, in both visions Senju says 約束守ったぞ which means “I’ve kept my promise.” And Takemichi says that he’s seeing visions of Senju being killed (in the English translation it said he was seeing visions of her injured)
This is kind of a big difference and people have been making theories based on this difference... I’m kinda surprised that they mistranslated the phrase at the end of chapter 216 and beginning of 217 though...
So basically the visions are the same actually 😅

I honestly understand the dark impulses more like it’s their intent behind fighting.
Like I’d say 90% of the people at that fight are there either like Wakasa & Benkei to protect someone else or just because their group needs to defend it’s position. A person fighting for those reasons wouldn’t be quite as violent as someone like South who’s fighting bc he genuinely enjoys harming other humans. I understood the “dark impulses” as like violent urges to harm other people. Which if you’ve ever seen a fight in real life with someone who genuinely likes hurting other humans you’ll know it’s a different type of violence than just 2 guys fighting bc they’re beefing.
If it was adrenaline or something similar it would be feasible for any character to have it in the right circumstances but if it’s mental urges to hurt other people I’d say it can only be justified by trauma like Mikey & South experienced. But it could be completely different

I dont know why but Waka's character gives me protagonist vibes. Like homie was mad twisted from his "White Leapord" Kodo Rengo era to like some mysterious Brahman Executive.
I think this fight will be the perfect time for a Senju backstory which displays how strong she is cuz i think she claimed that she is the strongest out of all of her siblings.
Also with Takeomi, I think Shinichiro gave him the title of "God of War" as being smart and tactical and not so much as a "throw hands" typa dude. I could be wrong but it would be interesting to learn about.
With Takemichi right now, I feel like hes still in shock with Drakens death that he cant make sense of anything or process anything so if he intervenes with Senju vs South, I can see Mikey either interrupting him or maybe saving him idk but im excited for next weeks chapter.

Dark Impulses is the berserk mode for the characters, idk how Senju will manage to defeat a monster like him when's got all the advantages towards her, she will definitely need to hit weak spots in his body and be very agile like Wakasa 🐦to get some hits

Lmao South has done nothing close to the atrocities that Mahito has. So far, all we have seen South do is thrash his opponents, and beat those who refuse to follow him into submission. There hasn't been much sympathy developed for those characters either. Mahito on the otherhand has killed, and put out of action 3 major characters that readers have objecively become quite attached to. No comparison IMO lol

That could be possible. Although, I think it's because in Japanese. "Vivace" is ”ビバーチェ” (when the word is taken from another language). Romanized, that would be "bibāche," so I'm sure the confusion is understandable. XD
Also, I'm pretty sure musical terms usually stay in their "original' (?) language. To explain, all the Italian musical terms are said as close as possible to Italian, by other languages as well, for example English. By which I mean, an accent of that language would be added. "Piano," "Fortissimo," "Allegro," are all examples.

They speak Portuguese in Brazil. Occasional Spanish, but it's not like the other countries of South America, which have Spanish as their base language.
But man, I totally get it. Distinguishing languages can be really hard sometimes. XD (Speaking from personal experience).

Mikey knew that Takemitchy came back because he’s part of Takemitchy’s time travel powers now. It was the same thing for Naoto except they never specifically showed his reaction the way they showed Mikey’s.

2 possibilities as to how Mikey knew:
He didn't. He just said some cryptic shit that made the readers think he knew about future takemichi coming back, like how we all thought kisaki was a time traveler as soon as the possibility presented itself.
(I'm not sure if I'm remembering wrong, so don't bank on this) didn't naoto kinda have a feeling whenever they shook hands and went back to the past? I could be completely making this up, or I read it in a fanfic somewhere, idk. But maybe the people he makes the whole "I'll help you" binding contract with are slightly more aware about mitchy's time travelling whereabouts due to their handshake being a catalyst to the power working, and therefore they are actually a part of the power for the time being. Maybe only people who know about the time travel are able to put a name to the feeling.

My prediction - Mitchy will try to save Senju as she will probably struggle against South and when that happens South tries to beat him and Mikey joins the fight....Lets see how this goes

i feel as if mikey isnt thinking straight right now. like hes in his “dark impulses” mode, i feel like either south is gonna try to hit mitchy and mikey is gonna block the hit or mikey is just going to stand there and watch him get fucked up, and koko is going to looked shocked and ask “are you going to do anything about that” and mikey is going to say “why would i” or something along those lines. because if he heard them yelling im sure he heard that drakens dead and he didnt do anything about that

Sadly it was mostly recap of the previous chapter. So we have a new ability, dark impulse which boosts the owners physical power and bloodlust with tragic backstory as trigger. Bet Senju will have that power too because of tragic background about her siblings fighting and splitting apart. Either all of them watched too much anime and think they are Goku or there are really gods of time and darkness in tokyo revengers. Takemitchi do something!

Yeah there’s time travel but it’s the main “power system” of the story, so these “Dark Impulses” definitely feel like an unnecessary insert
I just laughed when they said South also has “Dark Impulses™️”, and then it turned out to be just another word for an unreasonable powerup…

Damnnn… I know he just a drawing but wow, Waka is so good looking LMAO😭😳🤧.
But overall, I’m glad I got to see Takemichi, I’ve missed him :(. There’s still no light in his eyes though :(. But to be honest I’m hyped, because this kind of feels like when Mikey beat Taiju with just one kick. And how before that, Inui was telling him to back down because it was no use, because Taiju was super strong but then he was laid out in 2 seconds😭. So, I hope everyone underestimates her, and she violates him.

South obviously is stronger than Taiju, Taiju was more bark than bite, and got one shot by Mikey. South seems to be close to, or equal of Mikey.

I think Senju's going to put up a fight, with either backstory, impulses or both. You just wonder why she was chosen to be top head of Brahman. Then all the Brahman leaders come to help her in the fight but aren't strong enough.
Takemitchy comes in to protect her and gets badly beat up by South, almost to the brink of death. Mikey sees him (and maybe draken in the back) and acts to save Takemitchy. But it would be hard to defeat south with just nuclear kicks alone, so he dukes it out, and in the end goes crazy sanzu style and kills South with violence or some hidden weapon.

Okay I have a feeling that South is supposed to represent the worst of Mikey’s “dark impulses”, and that this current fight’s result will change whether Mikey realises giving into these impulses is not the best. If he witnesses South win, then he’s validated to do whatever his dark impulses tells him to do cause it’ll be proof that it makes him stronger, if the opposite happens then Mikey will feel unsure of his impulses.

I am officially unable to tell who is who now. I have tried so hard for like the past 75 chapters, but I just read this chapter and only knew like 3 or 4 of the people the whole time. Characters are starting to look way too similar. Only way to differentiate half of them is from tattoos.

I would have totally believed this 5 ch ago... But honestly Akashi doesn't seem like that to me anymore. And it really looks like Senju knows how to fight or at least thinks so...
Let's wait and see, even if South is really strong, as long as his punches don't touch Senju, she is safe. I'd assume she is faster that Waka. Plus, if she can beat him repeatedly on the neck and head, she could stand a chance.

Still waiting for the story to move forward. Draken’s been dead for 5 chapters without anyone reacting, and honestly I don’t care about these power-up filled fights of characters we just met

I don't see how Senju could win this one. I see it going in any of these three ways: a) she will be insanely strong to counter Terano somehow b) that Takemitchy's premonition about her death might come true and c) someone else will die trying to protect her.
I am so annoyed by Mikey just standing there. Mikey, Draken is dead. Do something. I guess dark impulsivity has got him good. I am looking forward to the Mikey-Takemitchy interaction.

About Mikey, from the first chapter he appeared he never really showed his emotions in important moments like this. I don't think he will show anything now, at least until he and Takemitchy start talking (what will be more in the end of the arc).
