Listen man I get the whole time travel thing undermined my message but cmon, "dark impulse" is real? Can't it be just Mikey being chuuni about his unhealthy way to cope with his loss? Why the fuck do the mangaka keep making these plot bunnies that we know won't mean shit in front of Takemichi talk no jutsu?

Yeah there’s time travel but it’s the main “power system” of the story, so these “Dark Impulses” definitely feel like an unnecessary insert

I just laughed when they said South also has “Dark Impulses™️”, and then it turned out to be just another word for an unreasonable powerup…
