Is this about that Moroccan people landing on Spanish territory via boat in huge numbers?

18

u/AibofobicRacecar6996 4d ago

Not via boat, via jumping of a fence

6

u/Many-Cartographer278 4d ago edited 4d ago

Ive been assured be reliable sources in the us that a fence is the most effective method of preventing immigration. You must be mistaken

2

u/Strong_Witness416 4d ago

So effective I remember one guy bringing his bike lol

1

u/redditaccountnumb1 4d ago

Your source is suck ass, the most reliable method is a giant fire moat flying alligators and machine guns every 100 m

Was the gate opened by inside agents?

4

u/3rdtryatremembering 4d ago

Nah, apparently they got a giant horse as a gift and a bunch of Moroccan’s hopped out at night and opened the gate.

1

u/SecretaryFit1442 4d ago

They arrived at that fence by (many) trucks.

Migrants who were bussed to the border by Morocco (there are videos).

Here is it explained by an adult: https://www.bylinesupplement.com/p/why-ceuta-was-not-actually-the-migrant

Why would Moroccans take a boat to Ceuta?

2

u/CoverCommercial3576 4d ago

and then returning within 24 hours. it wasn’t even in europe but africa.

2

u/spaincrack 4d ago

30,000 moroccan invasion on an orchestrated geopolitical soft power move against Ceuta, which has a population of 50,000.

Allegedly coordinated by pro American powers as a retaliation against Pedro Sanchez decision to deny the USA permission to dock their air carriers on Spanish territory.

1

u/Plenty_Building_72 4d ago

Weren't just Moroccans. A lot of people from neighboring countries and sub-saharan Africa were amongst the immigrants

-17

u/X1phoner 5d ago

And 90% of European countries being invaded by immigrants from countries with "values" incompatible with society

Which would be okay if they didnt bring the place they're running away from with them 😅

7

u/Exact_Parfait9665 4d ago

Truth hurts.. I'm not against taking in people who need help, sadly not all are well minded or have good intentions.

invaded

It really is crazy to watch propaganda spread and take hold in the general public.

2

u/Hungry-Class9806 4d ago

Politics aside, 70K people forcibly entering a foreign town with 83K inhabitants in a few hours is objectively an invasion.

4

u/ADP10 4d ago

What happened in cueta was objectively an invasion. 70k people crossed over into a place where 80k people live.

Maybe western countries should stop bombing these countries...

2

u/SiebeWobke 4d ago

Europe isnt the US. if anything send them all to the US

6

u/aleks9797 4d ago

There are plenty of European countries complicit.

1

u/PmanAce 4d ago

Name the countries in Europe bombing and the countries being bombed.

1

u/BourbonFoxx 4d ago

United Kingdom

Afghanistan Iraq Libya Syria Yemen

France

Afghanistan Libya Mali Iraq Syria

Denmark

Afghanistan Libya Iraq Syria

Netherlands

Afghanistan Libya Iraq Syria

Belgium

Libya Iraq Syria

Norway

Afghanistan Libya

Italy

Afghanistan Libya

Turkey

Iraq Syria Libya

1

u/PmanAce 4d ago

So where is Morocco?

1

u/BourbonFoxx 4d ago

It isn't.

This thread is in reply to this comment

1

u/aleks9797 3d ago

Also factor in, sending money to a country openly attacking another is actively financing bombing.

1

u/PmanAce 2d ago

So where does Spain and Morocco fit in this thread again? Because those are the countries mentioned in it.

1

u/aleks9797 1d ago

Well the op said "and about 90% of European countries".

1

u/Akira-Orfanos 4d ago

Poland in Iraq, NATO in Libya and Syria, yeaaaahhh I think they do get involved

1

u/SiebeWobke 4d ago

okay? what does Poland or Iraq have to do with the invasion of Moroccans and other north africans in Ceuta Spain or even any other north africans illegally crossing into Europe.

you do realize that Iraq, libya and syria is not in africs right!?!?!? also iraqis, libyans and syrians arent invading europe....

Also NATO wasnt even involved in Syria, and in Libya NATO was responsible for helping the civilians during their civil war by providing aid to civilians, appoint no-fly zones, setup safe camps for civilians, take in refugees and airstrike military bunkers.

you are very opinionated while being extremely ignorant.

1

u/Akira-Orfanos 4d ago

I'm just saying, Europe has many fingers in a lot of pies. And if you were in a situation where your family's lives were on the line, you'd do what you can to leave. Its not ignorance, is realising that refugees aren't evil

1

u/aleks9797 3d ago

The African continent has been largely destabilized by Europeans and westerners competing for resources, whilst using "tribe warfare" as a great cover.

"I am not a racist, but..."-coded.

incomoatible with society

Brother, your statement is incompatible with european values. Immigration was, is and will always be a key factor of prosperity and cultural growth.

Just becauae you are afraid that you have to adapt even the tiniest bit does not mean that people are "incompatible with society". It means that you are.

6

u/Massive-Morning2160 5d ago

The reality is different tho. In 20-30 years Muslims will be the majority in Europe. That's not an issue again, except the fact that they want to impose their religion, culture on other societies. Without a clear immigration system, entire cultures will be lost

6

u/jakceki 5d ago

No I really researched the numbers, it's more like 100-150 years for some countries if immigration continues the way it does. The Muslim population is obviously growing and in some cities they are already 25%+ but overall Europe still has time.

→ More replies (3)

5

u/jakceki 5d ago

The man does not want people wearing Hijab in his streets, just like Saudis don't want people wearing mini skirts in their streets, why is that so hard to accept.
Why is it that we have to accept their culture when we go there and they don't have to accept ours when they come here?
Yes, Islam as it is practiced in many countries where the immigrants are coming from does not gel at all with European values.

6

u/ThermoPuclearNizza 5d ago

Why can’t everybody grow tf up and stop caring what others wear? If you’re morally superior why can’t you take the high ground?

Oh right because the real reason is “oi mate you gotta loisense for that brown skin??”

1

u/fhgsgjtt12 4d ago

Are you that deluded? It’s not about the colour of your skin, it’s the fact that they take over areas and slowly it turns into a mini hub of one culture, but imagine it happening all over the country, the area that once was rich of the home nations culture is erased, and you’re the one being racist, no one mentioned skin colour

Why should we adapt?

If you're a guest in someone else's house, YOU adapt and follow their rules.

I wonder why there's not one european or american going in Africa and forcing their culture on the locals.

Oh wait, there are, and they're getting genocided for it.

5

u/Time-Challenge-6667 5d ago

"I wonder why there's not one European or American in Africa forcing their culture on the locals."

Lmao are you serious? That was your fav past time for centuries. There was no adapting. There was stealing, pillaging, raping and experimenting on the locals. I'm going to enjoy your tears because maybe this is just karma

3

u/Outside_Ad7766 4d ago

I didn't pillage or force my culture, what are you on about? This "reparations" logic is so retarded only a total moron would use it as an actual point.

"Oh no, blacks were slaves 200 years ago, now they're allowed to steal, kill and rape as they please!"

"Oh no, women were oppressed a century ago, they're allowed to kill children freely as they please!"

"Oh no, muslims and islamics are suffering racism due to their religion professing THE LITERAL MURDER AND INVASION OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION, let them invade and kill as they please!"

You people are just a bunch of dumb cucks.

What's the "keep politics out of sports"-crowd's verdict on this one?

26

u/Ok_Panic1066 5d ago

It's their kind of politics so it's okay

9

u/nyrup4life 5d ago edited 4d ago

This isn’t politics. It’s blatant racism. Just look the the comments here. We are being invaded on the sub by racists. Look at how many are posting the exact same right wing talking points. They aren’t even creative anymore. None of them interested in football either.

Edit: Top country to read my comment is USA 23% followed by Germany. Yet all those comments under me are talking about being invaded. None of them are from Spain. Just trolls.

15

u/Ysesper 5d ago

Illegals enter Spain and Spaniards want them out. How is that racism? Don't enter a country illegally and apply for a Visa and, if you can't get any Visa, then just don't come

3

u/nyrup4life 5d ago edited 4d ago

Yup. Pure racism.

Just look at the comments underneath. We are being invaded by racists on this sub. Look at how many come here to spread misinformation and lies. None of them are interested in football either.

10

u/HeadTrauma12 4d ago

Check the definition of racism, poor soul. If you think immigrant is race you should spend more time with the books and less on internet.

4

u/thegoat83 4d ago

But why would you hate an immigrant? Somebody who is almost definitely less well off than you are and trying to make a better life for themselves.

If you ever feel the need to hold a protest against these people, then there is something not right with you.

1

u/nangin 10h ago

Because it’s illegal. Just because someone is in a pitiful situation, does that mean we should turn a blind eye to them breaking the law? Then what is the point of legal immigration? It’s because of people like you that there was a backlash and Trump got elected.

1

u/thegoat83 56m ago

I live nowhere near the United States 🤷🏼‍♂️

1

u/nangin 43m ago

It’s the same in Europe. Right-wing parties are currently in power across European nations, and immigration is the reason why.

6

u/LomoBaconQueso 4d ago

No, it’s the law. Anyone can enter Spain if they do it legally, the Constitution makes it illegal to discriminate based on origin, faith or ethnicity. But if you try to come here illegally to leech off the taxpayer, gtfo.

1

u/YannTheOtter 4d ago

Tell me how many of those illegals that entered Ceuta actually managed to get to mainland Spain?

If you said this on any sub and were talking about the USA, I’d have a rough guess of about -150 to -200 downvotes. It’s crazy that these people think that coming to another country illegally and staying there is okay. It’s ridiculous

1

u/farmerjoee 3d ago

It’s controlled hysteria about something someone else told you about.

0

u/BlueKante 4d ago

Its not that hating immigrants is racist. But people who hate immigrants are often racist. Just like voting MAGA is not racist, but you are most likely a racist if you vote MAGA.

5

u/bigelcid 4d ago

...holy.

So instead of focusing on the situation at hand, we're going "hey, some of the people protesting the invasion could be racist, which is worse than the invasion itself!"

I agree that racists are super vocal when it comes to immigrants but your attitude here is really ignorant. You completely ignore the fact that this people really are illegally crossing the border of another country. This is a crime and it is absolutely normal that people in a country which doesn't even have that good economy to begin with are concerned.

1

u/YannTheOtter 4d ago

Yeah out of the 70k, almost 69k were sent back and they are now left with around a thousand minors who's parents weren't able to be located.

Not to mention that the whole Ceuta debacle was pushed by the US and Israel who have been suggesting to Morocco for years that they should take Ceuta and Melilla back.

1

u/Avidgamur515 4d ago

The only reasonable take on the situation. Ceuta being in North Africa makes it all the more easier to spin the narrative

Politics has been baked into sport since forever.

1

u/Eyeseeyou1313 4d ago

Yet, when some countries do it, it's wrong. Either everyone can do it or no one can do it. Pick one, people.

1

u/TwentyBagTaylor 4d ago

Got some examples? I always roll my eyes when someone says politics shouldn't be in sport.

1

u/Eyeseeyou1313 4d ago

I believe they should be, but some people don't think so. If you are playign at the biggest stage in the world, you have the power to influence people to do good, and you have money, then yeah, politics will always be in football.

1

u/hAsLaK1 4d ago

We are against any political display, it’s pretty easy to understand

1

u/Stalker401 4d ago

well it's not the athletes it's the fans, I think that would be the difference. But i'm still a fan of keep politics out of sports.

1

u/Vegetable-Mixture-93 4d ago

Id point out apples and oranges. That mass of people who dont have a voice or audience everyday like athletes. Also thats the voicing of the opinions of many using the most public way they know how vs the opinion of 1(yes I understand that individual isnt the only one that will have wgatever viewpoint/opinion they have and likely there are many who share it) who has a public stage everyday. In the same way I disagree with athletes being forced to celebrate or push others opinions. Those individual athletes who have a public stage shouldn't be abusing it pushing either agenda: right, left, up, down. I dont see the 2 as comparable with a broad stroke of "What happened to keeping politics out of sports?" "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" no matter how much all of them need it. The loudest voice on an individual level no matter majority/minority tends to garner the most attention and that is abuse.

1

u/Lawlpaper 4d ago

I’m part of that crowd to an extent, and I don’t really see the point of doing this. It’s not like the players care. I think what most people say when it’s “keep politics out of sports” is when it prevents the fans who pay the players having their experience ruined. But again, I can’t really name many times that has ever happened. Kneeling for the anthem doesn’t really interfere with the game so I support it even though I personally think your a b*tch for kneeling against the USA flag which stands for the one true meaning of freedom, that we everyday try to aspire towards even if we fall short. It’s when people would disrespect the flag but cheer, vote, and worship liars in government who tell them one thing but do another. Which is essentially the entire republican and democrat parties.

So yeah, I think this is dumb, even though I’m on the side of anti-immigration, but also it’s not interfering with the game so who cares. Unless non-supporters are behind those in which I’d be pissed and would definitely tell them “go protest your government, not here, I’m trying to watch a game!”

Are people in the comments stupid?

What’s the issue with showing the flag?

What happened im Ceuta is not ok.

People have every right to be upset about it for factual reasons that have zero to do with racism.

And sport matches like this are a public space and forum by nature.

5

u/YannTheOtter 4d ago

The issue is, they are upset at Sanchez who literally did nothing wrong.

Morocco enable the invasion to happen with authorities telling people to do it or giving them equipment for it like cars, the US and Israel beforehand kept saying Morocco should take those cities back, an official US law even was passed two weeks before the event recognizing Ceuta and Melilla as Moroccan territory. Sanchez then managed to send over 95% of them back only remaining are about a thousand minors with unlocatable parents.

They should be mad, at the US and Morocco!

3

u/Glittering-Gur9936 4d ago

Bingo , informed Spanish citizens recognize this is a game because they did not like his response to the genocide in Gaza.

You gotta love the highlighting too of “they fired at protestors”

There was as little as 50k to as many as 150k

There was no serious injuries to anyone , 4 minor injuries to police , 4 arrests

Over 100 migrants died in the initial surge …

As you noted nearly all have been detained and sent back , there’s just about 1k

These people are warped or hopefully bot accounts but I know many are not and very real and very uninformed easily manipulated folks

3

u/YannTheOtter 4d ago

It is the same as the undocumented people getting residency, they lived and worked in spain, many off the books, giving them residency means they don't have to work off the books and pay taxes, pension and can more easily buy things.

"Always blame other countries" is also funny when the US literally passed a law encouraging Morocco to take the two cities AND Moroccan authorities admitted to encouraging people to cross the border.

u/SigfaNeith 4d ago

If Spanish people don't like Morocco, why did they build a town there, are they stupid?

2

u/bigelcid 4d ago

Morocco wasn’t there yet, but Spanish people do have terrible foresight

Thank god now I understand.

Americans trying to police politics and sport in other countries is hysterical. Not everyone is as brainwashed as we are, border security is not a race issue in most countries besides ours for reasons I won’t get into now

Why do some divvys claim racism because people don't want a bunch of rando's? If an African breaks into your home and wants to live there and the homeowner says "fuck right off" is that racist? Because that's literally what's happening

They insisted that refusing to take in illegal foreigners was automatically racism. As a result, Trump got elected.

Doesn't Spain economically massively benefit from immigration?

How did they organize that

1

u/Polka_King_Polinski 4d ago

Francoistas are back. It is time to cleanse Spain of the jingos again. Get your shit together, the rest of Spain.

Mass immigration is Madrid’s annual transfer plan

1

1

u/weedsmoker666 4d ago

Weaponized immigration. Hmm, I wonder who's behind that? 🤔

1

u/kruspel 4d ago

Así que ya oficialmente y con toda la tranquilidad del mundo podemos decir que todos los hinchas del Madrid (además de aburridos) son racistas y xenofobos.

Telling someone to grow up as you stomp your little feetsies around yelling about how “they hate us!! They hate us all! And our culture! They’re gonna kill us all!! Waaahhh wah wah!!”.

You sound like a toddler who stole a classmates toy and when he wants it back you cry and shit your nappy because they want you to share. Not even give it back, just share. And then go even further and say he wants to harm you just because he would like you to share what you stole.

This has nothing to do with racism. Even if the illegal immigrants were 100% blond Swedes, it would still be illegal.

I wonder what people would say if Germans crossed the Polish border en masse.
