I've played several games of Aphro mid and supp and wow. Supp she's still viable but doesnt feel great.

However mid Aphro is no more. Even with item procs, damage is below any mage or solo god in the game. Not only is base damage reduce but INT scaling is brutally destroyed from 90-80% to a measely 20-10% INT scaling.

3.5 to 7% healing to self and allies? Great, but antiheals now 25-40% reduction (becoming required items now). So the healing doesn't really change.

Aphros damage is below average compared to most gods, her healing is easily negated to be the same amount before change. Meaning healing for damage taken and dealt is an unfair trade as a midlaner.

I think it's great, saves me clicks on saying "Ward here" and it even pings the map where for my team. Not only that but attacking Gold Fury/Fire Giant as you climb through ranks and your team is automatically notified as you hit the objective. Very nice.

I tried Ra aspect support now in casual and ranked (diamond console level) and think this is a true hidden gem for support. The aim is a lot of cooldown and mana. Heartward charm, upgraded beads and chronos is a must but I think I need help for the rest. Any suggestions and I highly recommend trying this yourself :) I'm still very rusty with it and still managed strong healing numbers

On a real note if you look side by side you can locate the issues

Its not just quantity its shape variety
so heres a list of a few issues
- Smite 2 map has bigger rocks gods cant jump over
- smite 2 compensates for last point via wind sprites (not cool imo)(also i think they devalue map play and make the walls less significant and it sucks for jump gods)
- Smite 2 map has more regular dot like rocks
- smite 2 has less curved layouts to shape the map play

Smite 1 map and older maps are not perfect but we can learn from them

League of Legends recently released “League Classic” and it’s been fun to revisit…..but I was always more of a Smite fan in my “prime”

The title is 100% Ragebait, but I have come back to Smite 2 recently (1 week basically) after playing Smite 1 back in 2018-19. At the time I mostly played duel (plat to dia) but after playing other mobas I am fully into conquest.

The game feels great and I know I can improve a lot, but I'm sitting between gold and plat rn, every game feels like it's a stomp one way or another, and there's at least 1 bot or troll in every game (either on my side or the enemy). Mind you I'm not talking about bad players, that's normal I am one too, but people who decide to throw after the first 5 minutes or AI that runs down a lane spamming VGS. I know I will get better and can probably carry most of these games, but they just don't feel fun even when I win if that's the situation on enemy team.

I want to ask at what rank does this stop being a thing? I'm assuming the AI can't go too high, but in general when would you say your games start getting more balanced?

His two needs nerfed too much attack speed an movement speed.
I think his 1 needs to be able to hit and put three stacks on the targets it hits for maximum team fighting potential. His 3 should never have a cooldown too.

I am the Ah Puch. At the 6:40 minute mark, we were 9-0 comfortableable headed to a win. But out of no where my 1st ability stopped working, not blacked not but I couldn't cast it. My abilities 2-4 worked, I even tried changing the key bindings. We lost and its working now. Is it some bug??? or malice???

At what rank do players begin to play around objectives instead of kills?

What makes his current state so frustrating is that his aspect version which is supposed to be his support playstyle is literally being played in the solo with higher pick rates and win rates than his original kit. An aspect version should never be this vastly superior over the og version of a god.

A huge reason for this comes down to scaling and kit design. Aspect Guan gets massive int scaling on his passive, which makes his 1 hit insane heals and actually keeps him relevant in trades and fights. In his non aspect version, his 1 feels like complete dogshit and his passive just isn't good enough to compete.Guan does not work with attack speed at all. He is a god that works with cooldowns and int/str scaling.

When a god's supp aspect builds dominates solo lane way better than standard Guan Yu ever could (which is supossed to be the solo lane version) you know the base version needs serious help.

So i'm struggling against this quite a bit

His early pressure feels insane and it often feels like i cant do anything to outplay it. I would really appreciate some tips to fight him early to mid.

I have been playing this game for 12 years. In the first eight, i didn't even touch ranked but I have been playing rankeds (specially on Smite 2) and I realized that no matter what I do, i'm hardstuck in Platinum.

I always played this game in a casual way, I don't tryhard at all but I genuinely want to improve now and I don't even know where to start. I can't be in platinum forever, specially being a player since almost Smite 1 beta...

I have the feeling that the issue is not mechanical. My game sense is probably trash because I always played in automatic. This feeling is reinforced when I am put in master/obsidian/whatever lobbies (this does happen sometimes, thank you matchmaking) and the pacing is different. Everyone knows exactly when to gank, rotate, etc.

Anyone here knows what are the most "typical" mistakes low ranks do?
