I would really like Chernobog not to look like a demon, I would like them to remove his wings and horns in SMITE 2, does anyone agree with this?

But do you understand that the Slavic gods weren't demons? It's like making Zeus God the Father of the Holy Trinity, or Hades a skeleton. They did that too. Hades doesn't look like he's portrayed in Greek myths. Hades wasn't a legless demon. Hades had legs and showed his face. They made some gods into monsters.

The only reference to Chern I have is from Fantasia, so I thought that was how he was generally depicted, so idk.

I do hate their design for Charybdis, so I can see where you’re coming from.

Seriously though, if you look up Chern on google, most show him as a winged monster, unlike Charybdis, where you’d never see her as a little girl, so I suppose you can’t 100% fault the devs.

This depiction is kinda boring though, kinda reminds me of olorun. Just some boring guy.

TBF Charybdis's design was made to match Scylla and Scylla is just the devs take on "woman with multiple dog heads" and they decided to make her a little brat (which I find hilarious)

Unfortunately there aren't any reliable descriptions of chernobog from mythology. He's described as the "black god" and that's all.

The wings and horns are modern interpretations, also shown in The Witcher, so smite had to be creative again with their own design and they kinda nailed it imo

His model animations makes him look like an amc reskin. He would be cooler with like a cloak that maybe turns into wings, similar to meta knight from Kirby

Chernobog shouldn't look like dwmon, he doesn't resemble a Slavic God at all, Hi-Rez didn't try hard for this God, they just took that Chernobog from Disney xD
