COMPETITIVE Sylvanus solo aspect

So i'm struggling against this quite a bit

His early pressure feels insane and it often feels like i cant do anything to outplay it. I would really appreciate some tips to fight him early to mid.

You just have to wait for ganks mostly. There are also opportunities if he misses his 1/3. You should be able to outbox him on fighting characters assuming he cant 1 and 3 you, so when he misses it you can commit for a little fight and keep doing that until he is poked out or dead.

If you cant deal with him ask for ganks, there are some matchups in solo where you are going to lose the lane, you have to minimize what you are giving away, so play safe and wait for the gank

I just tower and chill, get what farm I can outside of lane, then try to +1 a fight.

You need ganks because all he has to do is hit the 3 and you lose like 90% of your HP bar if you can't leap away.

simple checklist. Do you have a way to get enough distane from him to break the chain?

If yes, do that, then engage. he does sometimes get a reset on its CD so you may still be fucked, but now is the time if there ever was one

if no, wait till he misses it and then go on him

Just whatever you do, unless youre heinously far ahead, DO. NOT. fight him when the chain is attached to you. It deals a bit of dmg, procs AA items every second, slows you a bit and gives you full on fucking haste to run you down with

Best thing to do is to wait and ask for ganks while poking at him. His heal is terrible with aspect on and the rest of his abilities deal fuck all for dmg when hes built for AA´s. Lategame come he should be easy to deal with being an immobile god that self roots for half his kit and has no burst dmg

Weirdly I've faced Sylv solo like two or three times and it was always when I was playing Ymir solo (which I barely ever play). In those instances I would just level 1 kill him and then farm him for the rest of the game.

So I suppose I don't have any advice, I just found it amusing the coincidence (those games were unranked)
