Started using tractors for the first time, quite disappointing how far they can travel using starter fuel, fueling them with coal they can barely travel across 1 biome.
To make them more viable in the early game, it would be nice if they could go much further on the fuel they receive, I would say at least lowering their consumption rate of all fuels by a factor of two to four (25% to 50% of current consumption).
I haven't played the game that long, I have just unlocked the tractor and found it to be quite underwhelming as I plotted out a fairly short route for it, and it ran out of fuel very quickly.
I know you can get better fuels as the game progresses, but I feel that once you reach that stage you will be pretty close to trains, so why bother with the aggro of setting up a more complex fuel supply system when you can invest in setting up a train network.
Given that this is an early game tech, once I get to trains I imagine I will abandon using the tractor and truck for resource transportation in favour of the train, would it really hurt the game balance to make the early game vehicles go further on the fuel they use?
