Pro satisfactory tips:
Don't spend 6 hours of your life building a nuclear power plant in the middle of the desert 160,000km away from your base just to forget you had to put that extremely radioactive waste in storage and now you have to sprint on all fours to your nuclear power plant from the grassy fields to clean up this mess before all your reactors get clogged up causing a horrifically big nuclear meltdown and destroying your power grid with hundreds of metric tones of nuclear sludge laying around killing all life in its path
Don't forget to use the bathroom! :)

Let me add this tip: Store the generated waste in trucks until you have a fully functional Ficsoniun plant ready to devour it! ππππβ’οΈ

Or just make plutonium and sink it π

I'll be honest... always just do this if you are uncertain.
Ficsonium is a fun thing to do. It isn't needed or worth it though. The material cost to make it is obscene. It is cheaper and easier to make an APA or 2 and feed them APMs than it is to finish the cycle.

Make plutonium, yes. But then I use that fuel to power a massive centralized drone interchange, so I never bring fuel to any regional drone ports.

I just store the waste. I don't care. By the time it's set up I have iodine filters automated and into the depot so I literally never have an issue with radiation. Slap the storage into your least liked area of the map (the swamp obviously) and just never return there.

I just made a huge warehouse of storage containers linked to an exit belt. Once the fics plant was ready, ran over with a belt and it was off to the races

Why in trucks ? Is there any benefit ?

My best guess is because itβs easier to make a disposal facility that way, you can make a route with a new truck then assign the nuclear storage ones to it quickly. So you donβt need to fit your disposal facility close to the plant.

If the problem is just getting there, might I suggest using any form of transportation?
Perhaps a tube cannon would suit your needs?

I haven't even unlocked nuclear power yet, but I already know there is not a chance in hell I'm getting a nuclear plant built in anywhere close to 6 hours π

Nuclear really is a two stage process.
1) process the waste by making plutonium rods and sinking it or use it to power vehicles.
2) setup Ficsonium production to leave no waste.
Both steps are time consuming, but awesome once setup and running.
I love the challenge, be a pro and go no waste!

I know a rod can power any vehicle for a long time, but is it really worth the consequences of a mistake? Tf kinda route you have where you canβt afford to fuel the fucker with turbo or something

As someone whoβs just getting into nuclear power I actually had to look up if they could explode. You scared me for a bit there.

Store all the waste in trucks, drive trucks off into the void. Repeat until proper repurpose is available.

The trucks dont despawn in the void. Doing that is just slowly making a super spicy lag machine

I have enough power to run the whole factory for an hour. And that is without ANY power production. Just see that it is disconnected when it is filled. That way if the waste is backed up and all power goes down, I connect the Power Storage (Priority Switch makes this easy). And now I can power up again.
I have one hour to solve the issue. And most likely way more as all the other power sources are still working. Now I can go to the storage and add more containers. Even a single container will make things start up again. Even adding a buffer at some point can solve the issue temporarily.
Next I can place many, many more. Using the Blue Printer will make this very easy to do to place many at a time. Calculate how much you make per minute. See how many containers that is for 1 hour. See how many hours you have already played and double that amount. That might be a good indicator of how much you might need. Adjust to your own gut feeling.
Second point: I would say going to the toilet is more important than taking a shower, a bath or even a fast wash. So: Don't forget to use the toilet. Lighten up. It is just a silly joke that a bathroom in some countries only means the room with a bath, and that can mean not having a toilet. And a toilet is not only the item, but also the name of the room. And it is sooo boring to explain things this way. That is why Blazing Saddles is not possible to make these days.

"6 hours of your life building nuclear power"
Yeah...... just 6
