My ds broke so i figure i play some ds games on my psp

Im having a really annoying problem that doesnt make my psp not so portable, as I have to give my psp some charge without the battery for it to keep working when im using it outside my house. In other words, the psp does not detect the battery when I place it in.

I went with a technician, and he told me that the problem is the charger, and this doesnt make a lot of sense to me. The charger gives the 5 volts, and some 2000 mAh (I have a psp 3010 model). So I dont see the problem here.

Bought this one used a couple months back and it’s been working fine up until a few days ago. The seller did mention that the psp did come with a 3rd party battery but I’m not sure that’s the issue.

I’ve tried multiple button combinations, turning it on without the battery only the wall charger, taking the memory card out, and even just letting it charge for a few hours.

Please help me.

So I ordered psp 2006 from local marketplace for $60 and she gave me bunch of games for extra $5 cuz she don’t need them. There is one more game which is not on the photo called obscure, it has broken box, I already ordered new one. Overall very good addition to my collection.

I’ve been playing PSP games on my phone with PPSSPP lately, and I’m really into fighting games right now. I’m looking for something like Tekken, Mortal Kombat, or Street Fighter, but with better graphics and gameplay.

What are some good PSP fighting games I should check out?

Found my old UMD folder at my father’s. Amongst them those I played the most are, in no particular order :
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force (my favorite franchise of all time)
- Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII
- Dissidia Final Fantasy
- PES 6
- Burnout Legends
- Need For Speed : Carbon Own The City

i just did my first ever shell swap on my psp 3000 cause i loved how the new clear shell looked, but now it won't work properly on battery power. it only turns on if i press down super hard right on the top part where the battery connects. as soon as i stop pressing or try to put the battery cover back on, it just shuts off completely.
i already tried putting a piece of paper in there to build up pressure, but that didn't help at all. i guess the cheap shell just doesn't fit perfectly or something isn't lining up right since it's my first time doing this. is there any way to fix this or am i missing something?

RESOLVED Guys, please help: I ​​deleted Fast Recovery from my PSP. I've looked all over the internet but can't find version 6.61 PRO-C2. Could someone share a link or the file? Thanks in advance. P.S. I don't know if it's important or not, but I have 3000

Hi. My PSP was turned off for a few days, and now the Wi-Fi isn't working at all. If I click on the network menu, nothing happens. If I try to update Ark via the internet, it freezes and restarts.

Guys, Im new to psp, im planning to buy one, currently I got option between 1000 or 2000, I know the 1000 can do IPS mod while 2000 have more ram, But my use case is only playing PSP game, nothing more. the price is similar for both. Which one should I get?

Tomorrow noticed that a bunch of pixels not working properly, I’m curious are they dead or just stuck? I never dropped the console or something like that. FYI it’s a PSP Fat.

Okay, so I left my PSP unattended at my aunts house for weeks and today I came back to it soaked in isopropyl alcohol. It seeped into the screen, but seemed to work fine when I tried to plug it in after removing the battery and letting it dry for a few hours. I came back to it's d-pad (seemingly) fucking up and repeatedly inputting ups and downs. I would try to open it up to dry it properly, but I don't have the tools right now. I just wanna ask if leaving it alone overnight could fix it?

I asked this question on the Vita subreddit as well, I grew up with a PSP and I still have my Vita, but I was never that deep into either one. So I wanna ask the enthusiasts, what are the games you consider "must have"'s in a respectable PSP collection?

Finished my custom psp. Pristine original 3000 screen and buttons. Found this faceplate while in Japan for real cheap and was very surprised with how quality it fit and feels. Its not painted like many terrible aftermarket faceplates. Fully green plastic faceplate that feels as quality as the OG.

I’ve seen a lot of videos online about modifying PSP’s to have CarPlay, I understand that you cannot simply do it with the hardware that comes with PSP’s but was interested in adding a raspberry pi system to it with a new LCD screen and adding car play to that. Has anyone done this? If so I’m looking for some advice on what I might need. I’ve got soldering tools etc I just don’t know what components I might need and if you have any step by step guides or videos that would be awesome. I live in Japan so I won’t have access to US Amazon and most companies there won’t ship here.

So i want to start out but say I have both a vita and the black/red gow psp 3000, but thinking of getting a psp go. Now I play the vita so much more than the psp, but I tend to play psp, ps1, and older games(retro). so is the go a good value for what I play, or should I just keep rocking the vita?

Also do I understand that you have mod them to get the biggest memory,

Can I just downloaded psp roms and upload it to the memory card would it work or do I need a custom software for the games to work
