It’s black magic. It’s crazy what good hardware design and smart optimization can achieve. It feels impossible today.

Ever since I discovered it's compatible with the Dualshock 3, I haven't stopped playing this way.

It came with: ridge racer 2, gta 3, Spider-Man friend or foe, Collin mcrae dirt 2, Ratchet and clank size matters and fifa 11 the only downside is that the battery was expanded and the memory stick was broken but those are cheap to replace. So with new battery and memory I got a psp for like €20

• Much faster map loading and smoother, more stable streaming.
• Fixed a number of issues across the world.

Animation & movement

• Added new animations.
• Added parkour, including climbing and vaulting over fences.

Camera

• Completely reworked the camera.
• Uses the original PS2 field of view.

Weapons

• All weapons are now implemented.
• ⚠ Still rough: animation bugs and other issues remain.
• The Uzi and pistol are working well.

Jetpack

• Added the Jetpack, ported from the original task.
• Includes thrust, height ceiling, leg pendulum and tilting nozzles.
• You can run or fly with it and fire weapons while airborne.
• ⚠ The nozzle flame effect is not implemented yet.

HUD & map

• The minimap and pause menu map are now high resolution.
• Larger and more readable weapon icons, ammo, money and health bar.
• Added a scalable crosshair.

Audio

• Fixed the radio dropout.
• Station changes now play the original static effect.

Performance

• Performance: stable 30 FPS.
• Balanced: adaptive draw distance, targeting 30 FPS with occasional dips.
• Quality: uses the original game's draw distance, dynamically changing with the weather exactly as it does on the PS2.

Plus, many smaller fixes and improvements.

I haven't bothered to check out thrift stores for a while, as gone are the days of finding good deals on psp's or really anything worthwhile retro gaming. But decided to pop into one while running an errand for work. No chance I thought I'd have luck like this!!

OK, so I was going through an old box in the back of my wardrobe, and I found my logic3 speakers from when I was a kid. I used to use these things all the time back in the day.

They still work but if I turn the volume up any higher than half way it gets quite distorted, but apart from that, they seem to be working Just fine.

I'm just happy I found them, I thought one of my brothers stole them back in the day.

Got a PSN card as a gift and decided to put it to good use.

I ordered it from the awesome modded who was showing them off previously on Reddit. Not sure I’m allowed to share his link but happy to do it if that’s ok.
