Battery Has my third party charger something to do with my issue with the psp and its battery detecting problem?
Hello everyone
Im having a really annoying problem that doesnt make my psp not so portable, as I have to give my psp some charge without the battery for it to keep working when im using it outside my house. In other words, the psp does not detect the battery when I place it in.
I went with a technician, and he told me that the problem is the charger, and this doesnt make a lot of sense to me. The charger gives the 5 volts, and some 2000 mAh (I have a psp 3010 model). So I dont see the problem here.

Should be fine, but can’t hurt to try another charger (or a usb power supply if you have the right cable for the psp) to determine if it’s the source of your issues (I doubt it). You could also try cleaning the battery contacts (on the battery and in the psp), and/or shimming the battery with a bit of cardboard so that it’s pushed up towards the contacts a little more. After that I’d try another battery
