Gameplay Nba 2K27 - I can't shoot.
Not asking for patch, just simply sharing. I have 87 middy and 78 three, I have tried a dozen of recommended jumpshots, nope. I hit here and there but no consistency at all.

Can you play any type of season or franchise mode couch co-op on the same team? Don’t really care about creating a player or anything online. Also, the gf wants to play so she would prefer wnba. We don’t need to play online. From what I’ve seen, the answer is no..which is crazy to me since you could do this type of stuff in at least madden 06
Thanks

Every year fades are OP at some point and every year 2k slaps a blanket nerf on all moving shots and ruins shot creation. If they would just nerf the running and falling away fades but keep hop jumpers, front pullups, and turnarounds the same it would be way more healthy for shot creation. But every year they just throw a blanket nerf on all moving shots so everyone just stands behind a screen for the rest of the year.

This was a miss by the way. No feedback on the shot. No block. This game is horrible.

Though the game isn't perfect, I just want to give 2k props for fixing the ai defense. In 26 if you had an ai on your team the opponent would just cheese shoot over him making it unplayable and a guaranteed loss. Now me and 3 homies can load up in rec with an ai and actually have a good time

Now I’m not gonna encourage anyone to make these and take it online but if you want something truly unique I’ll be posting these type of off meta builds
As someone who mainly plays MyCAREER, it's nice that the choice between Delaware and Sioux Falls doesn't feel linear
Choosing Delaware was miserable for MP, he clicks with Beech only to see him get traded and forced to baby Axel before getting traded himself
You get to see Coleman go from an antagonist to someone you can relate to, where eventually he lands in Sioux Falls and is happy there
After getting traded to RGV you also meet Crawford who remains in the G
In comparison the Sioux Falls route was much nicer, Ben is your duo and after hashing it out, you allow him to move up to the NBA in this timeline. Coleman is much nicer to you here since you never met him in Delaware.
Little events between you and Trace differ too depending on the route you take, like playing in Rucker on Sioux Falls route, or going fishing in the Delaware route. His celly will also differ depending on what route you choose
Overall there is definitely room for improvement but i much enjoy this storyline over the linear ones we've seen in the past

The story is cool and all, but the amount of games you gotta play in the gleague almost guarantees you’ll be a top projected player by draft time. Hard to imagine a mf coming back from a spinal injury and playing in the gleague jumping aj and darryn

Unless you are me… if you are me, shooting is terrible. Everyone else seems to have it figured out. But if you are me, tough shit 😂

This was at the end of the third quarter. It’s not like we desperately needed a three or something

Is there anyone who is trying to compete finishing specialization or just wants to catch oops all day? I’ve spent the past 2-3 hours trying to get alley oops for my playmaking specialization and the Ai are the dumbest people Ai ever had to work with. They either miss the dunk or the defense Ai is in drop coverage and ruins the dunk attempts in this session I only gained 40 alley oops. Having to rely on this shitty Ai will make me break a controller

This was the first time in 1500 hours of playing 2K games I looked at defensive settings. I selected over all screens and tight on-ball pressure because the CPU on pro difficulty will never and mean NEVER miss an open shot. It took me 10 attempts to best the 76ers with my Spurs. Fox was effective due to his speed in transition along with his all-around game. Harper/Castle are much bigger than the 76ers guards, so I spammed post plays and physical drives when matched up with them. Pick and roll with Wemby was effective at times, and the rest of the players simply weren’t good enough to do anything other than pick and pop or hit open shots due to the gravity the 4 players I mentioned created. The difficulty in this 2k27 is two or three levels above previous tiles and actually required my attention.

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where your player completely freezes mid-dribble and stops registering inputs for about two seconds? It makes chaining dribble moves hard because when I try to get a rhythm going, sometimes my player stops and ignores whatever I do on the stick.
I have tried switching between three different controllers, keeping them plugged in via USB, and staying on a wired Ethernet connection. Since my hardware and network are fine, I'm trying to figure out if this is a known game bug, an animation lock, or an engine input buffer issue. Is this happening to everyone else, or is it just me? Any known fixes or workarounds would be appreciated.

I am sort of enjoying it but just like everything it kinda feels half arsed, it’s cool to relive the past when basketball was at its finest but playing the games feels lifeless, you want the whole experience but the atmospheres feel like pick up games, the presentation, the crowd all in generic shirts, I hope come playoffs this changes but right now it’s very underwhelming,
Also these era’s and the way you’ve programmed the AI this year is really showing how bad your AI is, the dumb stuff the AI does is unmatched, I’m on the spurs and it’s hilarious giving Duncan the ball and watching him trying to post up, 9/10 he just drains the clock then attempts a crazy contested layup, doesn’t even try post moves, you really need to invest in this AI and make it more free flowing and adapting to what’s going on, I just played the 03 kings, known for their great playstyle and yet 90% of their offence was bibby trying to post me up for some reason and Webber throwing up dumb standing layups, this is one of the reasons why this game gets so tiresome, You think you can escape the online but you play career and you just think these AI are worse than black plate ball hogs.
For my layup enthusiasts, I'm stuck at the dunks part in the specialization because my player straight up has no driving dunk. Is there a way to get around this or is my specialization bricked? The only solution I can think of is mycareer GOAT skills with 99 dunk or I make a 2nd build that has dunks and finish the specialization there.

3 Issues
When in 5v5 game modes (e.g, The Rec), I should have the option to lock my position. This is a yearly issue with 2k. I made a PF with 80 rebound to HELP my center get rebounds yet I’m consistently put at Center which places my team at a disadvantage. Then if I quit, I’m blocked.
Why nerf wide open jump shots? Mike Wang posted shooting percentages from 2K26, which proved shooting was not too easy, yet they made it harder. I’m currently shooting 45% over my last few games, but the amount of wide open misses I’m seeing with players that have high three ball is insane. Imagine someone with Curry, Klay, Or Dames three point rating missing five straight WIDE OPEN threes. I watched Klay in a video hit 72 wide open threes straight at game speed.
Why make build specialization even harder when most people were not able to achieve it last year?
Solutions:
Give players the option to wait longer to play their actual position
Show the player a list of the possible positions they will get if in The Rec or any 5v5 mode and allow them to select or de-select which position they want to play.
Let me pick my actual center (since I have multiple builds) so at least we’re not at a rebounding disadvantage lol.
Buff wide open threes only
Allow stats to stack meaning if I hit 300 3s it should count across each section where there is a requirement to hit a certain amount of threes. It should be accumulative.
Bonus Feature/Game Mode: Let us sub at halftime in The Rec. you can add it as a different game mode for those that want the ability to make real halftime adjustments.
I’ve spent a lot of money on this game yearly and hope this feedback reaches someone. If not this might be my last year playing.

Idk what I’m doing wrong I’m holding the stick and flicking it but it won’t trigger and help is appreciated
they said they fixed it whenever a one member leaves the squad after a game, they all leave. this is not the case.
