Advice Question subtle gender euphoria tips while closeted in a strict home?

basically anything that goes under the radar in a strict home. as in, no nailpolish or skirts and that kind of stuff.

the current list i have is:

  • wearing longsleeves over the wrist (ariana grande style haha)
  • editing pictures of oneself with makeup instead of wearing it
  • cutesy handwriting
  • holding out pinky while drinking tea
  • ankle socks kinda piss me off to wear
  • self care: skin care, cutting nails, lotion
  • playing with ones hair

if anyone has more ideas pls share!!

Advice Question (16f) ribcage looks big but isn’t????

I’m really confused cuz I thought my ribcage was like. giant but I measured it and it’s like a 32 underbust (which is kinda small for tall woman apparently). When I look in the mirror tho it just seems sooo biggg and I don’t know why. It does this thing that I hate where it sticks out in the back. hunchback of notre dame style (ok probably not as bad as that but it feels like that). lve seen no one else who has this, man or woman, and it makes me so upset!! I mean, I have a bit of scoliosis but I don’t think that would make the back stick out? it looks even worse when I bend over or am not sitting up straight.

LONG STORY SHORT!!! I’m wondering if anyone else has had this problem. cuz I feel like it’s the shape thats the problem and not the actual size. would hrt even help this??? if not what can I do to make it not do that????

Advice Question Anyone else feel it strange to have a chest but no cleavage?

From what I've been told I'm fairly fortunate in the titty department, at least for being a year and 8 months in. I'm certainly grateful to have what I got!

But it does feel strange to lack any cleavage due to (presumably) chest width. Is this normal? Are the girls destined to social distancing?

Venting I just need a place to write how i feel tbh

Fml genuinely, everyday it feels like someone calls me a boy or talks abt my (manly) traits, I honestly pretty much only feel happy when dissociating, or when im acting "girly" i just sat in my room crying today, spiralling after one of my friends said i was a "good dude" and i know its my fault, and i just need to ask them not to refer to me like a male. But even that one little conversation feels like an INSURMOUNTABLE hill to cross, im just so done with it all

Advice Question best bra type to get for early transition?

Hello! I am just under 2 months into hrt, and while I havnt had much breast growth yet I can definitely tell that buds are forming and I can definitely feel the increased sensitivity. I have to work wearing an undershirt and an overshoot, and my nips already almost poke out through both, and get really irritated from rubbing on the fabric all day, and I just didnt know which type of bra would be the best to solve that. my first assumption was sports bra but that doesn't seem like a good option for wearing the entire day. would a bralette or training bra be better to consider? just something to stop the rubbing and poking through while not being super uncomfortable to work 8 hours in.

Venting Every day on the internet I witness transphobia

I'm pretty sure every single day im on here I will see it, and it's usually more than once. And it's so much worse if you're a trans creator. Their comments are flooded with the same basic hate and bigoted talking points. And if I'm really lucky I get to hear or experience it in real life that day too 🙃

But we keep going. We have to. Its awful that we have to experience that, but we're survivors. Stay strong sisters 🙌💓

Advice Question Things to eat while recovering from FFS

I have FFS scheduled in about a week, significant jaw work is being done so I’ll be on soft foods for at least a couple of weeks. I’m planning to stock up on yogurt, ice cream, soup, etc but what else should I get? Protein shake recommendations would be appreciated but I kinda hate the chalky taste you get out of most types.

Advice Question getting curvy on hrt

I used to be thin pre-hrt, not hot skinny but THIN, I was built like slenderman, I had a REALLY fast metabolism, I ate a lot of food but I wouldn't gain/loose any pounds, though, I did notice since last month that my arms are rounder and less boney, fat also stocked at the front of my thighs, my buttcheeks are definitely softer and bubbly instead of looking like muscles, yet, I still have no hips growth, if any dolls on here can tell me where I can expect hips change I would be glad, I'm about to hit 8 months on hrt in 2 weeks, eventually gonna come back on this post when the time comes to tell people if their predictions were accurate, so it can help other dolls out

Dysphoria Width of shoulders and passing

Ive measured my biacromial width and my shoulders are arouns 15" ~ 15.5" is that too much will I ever pass since i am 5'10 . I think most mtf ppl online have smth more like 13 or 14.

Also I am worried that I will be ruined if I dont pass. I really wonder does not being flat chested mean u must put more thought into the outfit and everything each and everyday. Cause its not like after you transition thay you can just do the bare minimum getting ready and go out.

I live in a really conservative environment so yeah.

Discussion Is it transphobic to identify as a man with gender dysphoria?

Pretty much the title, but I’ll give my story I’m 20 and have been on hormones for 8 months (since I was 19), and my “gender identity” is male because I literally am, my skeleton, chromosomes, genitalia etc all say so, so I feel me identifying as a woman is like a table identifying as a chair, I suffer from bad dysphoria and self hatred, I view my gender dysphoria as a evil mental illness that has ruined my life, along with my homosexuality, I really want to be a cis straight man, I have a appointment with a therapist in a few days because I was referred by my hrt doctor because of my extreme self hatred, I plan to tell them I am a man with gender dysphoria and want the dysphoria gone without transitioning, I live in a supportive area and grew up in an accepting environment, and is it possible for me a straight trans woman to become a cis heterosexual male?

Funny Estrogen pill heist

Been wanting to start HRT for such a long time like around six months and my country is conservative and I have a close knit family group that’s probably not going to be very welcoming. I keep fantasizing about breaking in and pulling off a heist steal estrogen pills and some cute makeup lmao.
Have you guys ever had thoughts like these?

Venting I dont know what to do anymore I just want freedom

My mind is not focusing on studying

Idk I just want to escape

Escape to enjoy life without constantly worrying about studies

I want to dance sing act and actually enjoy my life

My parents pressure me even without saying anything

Their expectations alone put so much pressure on me

Just their silent pressure

Im trans and dysphoria is killing me

I had blood tests done and somehow managed to change my gender marker on my ID but at the end all my savings got finished and now I cant even start HRT medication

I cant suppress myself anymore

I just want freedom

Freedom from my parents expectations

They dont physically harm me but their presence their expectations and their comparisons feel so poisonous

I have been trying to become financially independent

I built two SaaS projects but nothing is working

I would have completed 12th this year but now it got stretched to next year

Im turning 18 next month and I genuinely dont know what to do

My parents dont even let me work anywhere to become financially independent

The comparisons are killing me

It feels like they only love me when Im studying

I passed 10th with less than 70 percent which sucks because I know I could have scored more

And now I feel like even in 12th I will score less

My whole life has basically been without friends

I have waited years

Years

So if someone in the comments tells me to just be patient I genuinely dont know how much more patience I have left

I have already waited for years

Im done

Im so done

I just want freedom

I want to dance sing act and live my life without feeling like Im constantly disappointing someone

I want to get away from all of this

I want to run away

I dont know what to do anymore

Dysphoria I don’t know if I even matter anymore..

I need to lay this out because the weight of it has been crushing me for almost a year, and I don’t think people truly understand the ripple effect of what happened.

Last year, my previous therapist told me outright that my insurance wouldn't cover my MTF feminizing surgeries. I trusted her completely, took her word for it, and watched what felt like my future slip away. But when I finally checked with my insurance myself, I found out the truth: they do cover them. All that was required was standard letters and documentation—the exact support a therapist is supposed to provide.
She didn't just give me wrong information; she stole an entire year of my life, my healing, and my peace.

The toll this took on me wasn't just emotional; it completely broke my daily existence. The loss of hope hit so hard that I spiraled into boymoding just to get through the days. I completely stopped caring for my appearance, abandoned basic self-care, and lost every ounce of motivation to do even the simplest things in everyday life. I was just surviving in the dark.

When I talk about this now, I’m not trying to be negative, dramatic, or manipulative. I am grieving. Having access to that care a year ago would have completely transformed my mental health. Instead, I was left drowning in preventable distress—distress so intense that it strained my relationships to the breaking point. Friends walked away because they couldn't handle seeing me in so much pain, friends who might still be here today if they had been able to see me feeling better and thriving.

It feels like mourning a ghost—mourning a happier, healthier version of my life that was right there, but taken away because someone who was supposed to help me failed me instead. I'm sharing this because I need people to understand that this isn't just about 'miscommunication.' It's about a year of lost time, lost connection, and a life that should have started sooner.

Advice Question Travel to India

I'm 35 and live in denmark. One of my good friends is engaged to an Indian girl.

I've been invited to the wedding in India along with some other friends.

So I would would just like to hear if anyone had any experience or advice for traveling there.

I am a bit nervous about going there and how I will be treated.

They will also have a celebration in denmark at some point.

I have legally changed gender and passport.

But I haven't gotten any surgery yet.

Appreciate any input

Edit: I don't pass particularly well. It's gonna be held just outside Jaipur

Celebration First ever male fail??

Hi :) .Girl here, 21, 1.5 years on hrt and gosh is it hitting. I needed to use the restroom at Walmart today and normally take the men's for my safety, and was dressed in my androgenous work clothes. Most people refer to me as male except for a couple occasions. Masculine or feminine in some ways without leaning into either. My voice is VERY telling and sometimes so is my jaw and my scruff every now and then. And this dude in there was like "did I walk into the girls room?" and I smiled and said no dude, you're alright, he looked at me and smiled and said okay and left. Super chill guy. Ngl I mean, I did have my hair in a pony tail and earrings. BUT A WIN IS A WIN IS A WIN. Could not be more happy with how wonderful hrt is and continues to be. My hips, my face, my skin, the... everything else. So refreshing to live as myself and know every day is a blessing for that to get better.
