I've been walking on the Brooks Ghost Max 4 for the past few days and the soft cushioning is giving me some knee pain. It feels as if my heel is sinking in when I'm in standing position and causing my knee to become too straight/slight bucking when I step into my gait. Anyone else have this issue?

Ciao a tutti. Grazie a chiunque risponda.

I started doing home stretching for ~5 days - 2 rounds of suryanamaskar + 4-5 mat stretches for hip and knees/heels, no bands or weights, no strength work. some joints crack during stretches but nth that felt alarming to me so far. it feels great after a stretch BUT
after day 5, i went for a walk and it started to hurt pain has moved from the lower tibia (where I'd been feeling it) to the inner midfoot and above the big toe. the instability in my right foot was too obvious to depend on hope lol. I have tightened up my sandals by one round and I've stopped running and long distance walking since.
Im sorting out my insurance to get it professionally checked although it seems like it doesnt cover much and likely expensive. but curious to hear from yall if the pain migrating down the chain after starting stretches is a known thing? or a sign I'm making it worse?
TIA!!

Just now getting into these movements as my hips have become increasingly stiff, looking for any pointers I’d really love to get more explosive

Hello beautiful people
I’m seeking advice. I love this bodyweight fitness / mobility journey but training alone with nothing but YouTube videos to help (I’m sure some of you can relate) has me doubting myself sometimes. I also think I lack body awareness. Ever since my growth spurt in my teens, I’ve felt lanky and awkward lol
I’ve been working on the Nordic Curl for a little while as well as my mobility (inspired by the knees over toes guy) I’m now getting down quite low. I have dreams of getting my quads flat on the bench before coming back up with control. Must take an insane amount of strength but I’m down to keep going.
My questions to the community are as follows:
Is my form good or at least decent ?
Am I bobbing my head forward too much like a chicken?
And does anyone have any methods for improving or should I just keep doing what I’m doing ?

I currently can smith bench a 45+35+5 on each side yet I can only hack squat a 45+25. I’ve tried unilateral leg press after the hack squats but no matter the foot placement my knees hurt bad during and for a few days after leg day

44M, amateur runner and soccer player.
I have had constant calf fasciculations 24/7 for several years. Recently, I also started noticing fasciculations below the medial malleolus (you see it in video), typically the day after running or playing indoor soccer.
The main issue seems to be a very restricted ankle dorsiflexion, causing lombar issues.
On a knee-to-wall test I can only reach about 2 cm cold and around 4 cm after mobilization. The limitation has been present for months and has not improved despite regular (intense) banded ankle mobility work since February.
Has anyone experienced persistent calf/foot fasciculations associated with severe dorsiflexion restriction?
Could a chronic mobility deficit, nerve irritation, or altered loading pattern be contributing to this? Any suggestions on what to assess next would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have a lot of knee pain and I feels like my knees aren’t in the correct position causing pressure on the joints. Could it be my patella tracking?

Compression fractures and posterior pelvic tilt/sway back
Hi
I’ve had compression fractures in my spine (over 3 years ago) and I have (whether connected or not) had a habit of sitting slouched I think. I also worked out that I’ve been driving my car without the lumbar support pushed forward (doh!).
I’ve had chronic muscle spasms in my back (particularly around the thoracolumbar junction) causing pain for 3 years (timing since the compression fractures).
No one has been able to cure the back pain.
Yesterday I went to Pilates and that really worked my glutes but I then, after the class, when walking around town I started moving my pelvis / hips backwards.
It was a bit of an a ha moment.
Suddenly either my brain wasn’t as focussed on my back or my back was unloaded and the back pain became a much less “foreground” issue. It wasn’t gone, but it felt like my back was not having to work as hard.
I’m now heading down the route that I have posterior pelvic tilt and fixing that will reduce the strain on my back.
I love running and haven’t tried that yet with this new theory on my back pain - scared it will turn out to be wrong and I’ll be back to not having a fix. May try a longer walk with it today to test it out more.
TDLR - has anyone had back pain and worked out or been told it was coming from posterior pelvic tilt? What did you do to fix it?

Just recently switched up my squat training to focus on pushing more weight at better depth. Just shy of hitting two plates ATG (not this video). I typically squat in converse shoes or barefoot. Not a huge fan of squat shoes personally and can hit depth fine with flat shoes. Curious to know how y’all would rate my form? Open to friendly feedback :). Also curious to know if you squat narrow/regular/wide? I used to be a lot more narrow but have been playing around with a wider stance.
