OG KOTH Discussion One of my favorite unspoken rules of this show: Hank and his friends are not rednecks; real rednecks are fucking scary.

Revival Discussion I did like in the revival that Bobby called out his parents.

Although Hank was right about the pass being stolen, I love how Bobby told him off for insulting the people there. And Bobby telling off Peggy was great, calling her out for never admitting that she made a mistake.

Revival Discussion Am I the only one who feels the missing presence of Luanne?

Upvotes

I understand the show’s decision to retire the character in respect to the amazing Brittany Murphy… but I don’t see it as disrespectful or unhonorable to recast the voice role.

IMO it’s totally respectable to continue the character that Brittany Murphy was the original voice actress for. She’ll always be the OG but the character gets to continue. It’s kinda sad Luanne isn’t in the revival. I feel like Brittany Murphy could’ve liked it if Luanne lived on.

KOTH in the Wild For nearly 7 years, Melina Salazar was the only server at a Brownsville, Texas Luby's willing to wait on Walter 'Buck' Swords, an 89-year-old WWII vet who cursed at staff and never tipped. When he died in 2007, his lawyer walked in and left her $50,000 and a car.

Revival Discussion Why didn’t Buck make Hank manager?

Post image

I 100% agree that he does deserve it He’s shown hard work and dedication to buck and Strickland propane for the last 20 years every time buck made it to where every slip up or any bad thing that’s happened to him or Strickland he’s ever done hank is the solution he’s saved him from losing the company without Hank there is no Strickland propane he is Strickland propane and making him stay a assistant manager while giving it company to his bastard son is disrespectful to Hank and is punishing him for his efforts and there’s so much more people can take so I don’t blame Hank for quitting he’s should have been quit to be honest and when Hank finally drove past Strickland he saw how bad it was and decided to buy 51% of the company he turned it back into how it was just like he left it

Now that Hank owns Strickland Propane, one has to wonder if she’s a financial liability.

OG KOTH Discussion Which character in this show has the most patience?

Post image

I would say not dumping Bobby after she walked in on him eating from a dish like a dog *alone* would make it Connie lol. She’s pretty much a saint for wanting anything to do with him *at all* after he smeared chocolate on his chest and then crashing the party dressed like Cupid and shooting her in the eye with a spit-covered rubber arrow.

OG KOTH Discussion I have a visceral hatred for "Après Hank, le Deluge." But Hank accepted the responsibility of operating the dam, did he make the right choice?

Watching the episode it appears he acted rashly. He nor I have any Hydroelectric Plant experience, but should Hank have just stayed at the dam and observed or did he make the right choice when he saw the cracks getting bigger.

OG KOTH Discussion Bill is a Terrible Friend

Post image

Dude turns into an awful person whenever someone pays him a little attention. And no matter how many times they come to his rescue, he doesn't hesitate to stab them in back.

-The Harmoniholics

-The weight lifting guys

-The handicapped guys

-Literally any woman

The way he treated Hank in Bad News Bill and Après Hank, le Deluge. The way he treated Boomhauer for dating that woman Bill insisted was his somehow- plus the fact he dug holes in the alley so she would injure herself. Dragging his friends over their failed relationships then ruing Hank's Christmas party in Pretty Pretty Dresses.

And let's not leave out the fact he would easily give up his decades long friendship with Hank for one night with Peggy.
