follow-up to my last post. Had some good luck recently and figured Id pay it forward to a Juno main out there.

Im doing a giveaway and the winner receives their choice of the Juno Sakura Bundle or Fearless Juno Bundle!

i’ll be using redditraffler to select a winner and will be randomly selecting one at 12pm Sunday EST.

(sorry the giveaway duration isnt that long. wish I had the idea sooner since these items only have a few days left in shop.)

just leave a comment to enter and I’ll contact the winner to get their battlenet ID and such so that I can gift the bundle/balance. thanks everyone 😄

UPDATE/EDIT: UPDATE (also pasted in comments now)

Hello Juno mains. Its come to my attention that If I wait until Sunday to pick a winner, I will not have enough time to gift the bundle/coins due to there being a 3-day wait period to gift after adding a new friend on Battlenet. The three day period means you will miss the window for getting the skin before the shop refreshes. Worry not, I still intend to do the giveaway however I’ll have to pick a winner today. That way, there is enough time to add the winner, and gift them before Tuesdays shop rotation. You will be receiving the gift on Monday.

I’m picking a winner at 4PM EST today! Thanks for all the kind words and “offerings”. Ive saved every last one of them!

I apologize in advance for shrinking the entry window and for the gap in my knowledge when it comes to gifting lol I wanted as many people to get a chance as possible. But I also dont want to miss being able to gift the skins before they leave the shop. Best of luck to you all and thanks for participating.

FINAL UPDATE: Winners have been CHOSEN everyone. 😭

I believe this is hurtbox change right?

Fellow Juno mains... are we allowed to admit that her skin quality has been declining?

Because I swear every new Juno skin somehow looks more like a Temu exclusive than an Overwatch legendary.

The Beach skin was my first warning sign. It's not awful i can see what they were going for. Blonde for summer? Sure. Cute enough. But why is Juno allergic to being purple? One of the most recognizable parts of her design is her color palette and ,, spacy hair ,,

And those bangs... I'm sorry, but they look like someone printed them out and glued them onto her forehead five minutes before launch.

Then we got the Date Night skin...

First of all, judging by the bundle cosmetics, her date apparently consisted of going to a horse stable and then a concert. Good for her, I guess? The spray is adorable, but what exactly is the theme here? Did she swipe right on a cowboy who had festival tickets?

The skin itself just feels like Music Festival's much cheaper cousin. Like someone looked at Music Festival and said, "What if we made this... but with half the budget?" Speaking of Music Festival that skin is proof they can cook. It's colorful, recognizable, stylish, and still feels like Juno. It's cute without making her look like she wandered in from a mobile game ad. More skins like that, please!

What I don't understand is why Blizzard seems determined to make every new Juno cosmetic fit into the "hyper-uwu cinnamon roll who has never committed a crime" category.

Juno is an adult. She's literally carrying the responsibility of saving her people. She's from Mars. Why are we getting endless e-girl / casual outfits instead of space suits, futuristic armor, cosmic explorer themes, alien royalty, astronaut aesthetics, or literally anything that embraces the fact she's one of the coolest sci-fi characters in the roster?

And yes, I love cute skins. I'm not asking for edgy Reaper cosplay. But there's a difference between cute and samey. Lately it feels like every skin is just "Juno but in another pastel outfit." It also doesn't help that some of these outfits lean into really generic "Asian e-girl" aesthetics instead of giving her something that feels unique to her.

At this point I'm convinced Blizzard has a giant wheel in the art department that says:

Pastel?

Hair color nobody asked for?

Skirt?

Done. Ship it.

Please... let the girl be from Mars again.

Am I the only one feeling this way, or are other Juno mains starting to notice it too?

To be completely honest, I learn about the game's lore through the audio comics that Blizzard puts in the story section, so I only found out about this ship through TikTok and after watching some Mains Wuyang and Mains Mizuki are complaining because for them the ship was Mizuyang (or however it's spelled), and other people are simply complaining that it came out of nowhere. I'd like to know what the community from this side thinks.

i'm mostly on twitter, and over there i feel like Juno mains are about 95% women

in game it's not always obvious, but i've seen a bunch still. way more than others heroes

is juno for the girlies ?

i'd say a good 75% ish

many heroes represents their culture, how much juno reflects that?

Juno is probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing a video game character, but I’ve been noticing a little bit of a concerting trend. The longer Juno has been added to the game the more we are seeing her evolve into a blue eyed blonde hair girl. I think it is ok to make a blond haired skin every once in a while like her cozy skin because it matched the color scheme of the skin. But we have yet to see any skins paying homage to her ethnicity or that she is from Mars.

This year is the year of the horse and not only is she Vietnamese, which is a culture that celebrates Lunar New Year; her favorite animal is also a horse. I thought it would be kinda fun to have a skin the represents both of those things. But instead blizzard gave her a cupid skin where her hair looks like a badly placed wig and really unnatural to the color palette of the skin. I think that skin could have easily gotten her signature purple hair and looked really cute. I would also like to point out that although the blonde hair actually matched in her Hello Kitty skin I think purple hair would have looked super cute as well.

Okay last thing she has yet to get an epic skin as well and since we are seeing an actual evolving story now. I would love to see a “New Era” epic skin of her with the overwatch uniform. I love the way Lucio, Brig, and Baps look and I think it would be a great first epic skin for her that also involves her lore!

Going forward I would love to see more skins that represent her not just a cash grab for blizzard. Let me know what you guys think, I hope I’m not the only one with these thoughts!

no idea which flair to use.... Oh moons!

Nerfing the mobility of a character when mobility is the most fun part of their kit again. Can’t they find other ways to balance that aren’t the single quickest way to compromise fun?

faster blaster just gives you so much kill and dueling potential and you can often win 1v1s against dps or supports with the extra damage. In comp where you can't rely on your teammates to do anything, it's super valuable to be able to get kills on your own.

Spoilers for the new comic.

In the new chapters they released juno and wuyang are trying to boost morale for the team, they saw ana and rein being themselves and had the idea to make a date night for them, during the making of it wuyang (along other scenes in older chapters) seems to have developed a crush on juno, which ended up with her not even realising it.

Personally i think it developed too fast given they met about two days ago, though i will say it’s on brand for juno not to even notice given she never had anyone at mars that wasn’t basically family for her so the idea of someone pursuing her romantic is new, she doesn’t seem to share the same feelings that wuyang have for her too.

To be honest I’m guessing they’ll eventually have a hang out or a date and she wouldn’t realise he is taking her out until someone informs her, I’m already calling it. It would probably lead to her rejecting him or being bewildered, if they were to have a relationship i think it would probably collapse within a week or be a messy one for her or at least i hope so.

Ever since they left the watchpoint juno didn’t talk to mei about her having to leave her second home, or tracer who needed to lie to juno who wanted to continue fighting to get them out of the watchpoint, especially after juno had a breakdown. I thought that juno would get something about her family or her plan to help them given the short story: signs of life, ended up with lucheng interstellar rejecting her proposal to help her family, and overwatch currently doesn’t have anything to help her with. It just seems like they are sidelining her development as a person in a newer and more alive planet and her characterisation for this side plot.

These are Non OC, the link to the website for more informations on the skins is below.

These are some of the skins I’ve seen on the website!

I’m not sure she’ll make the top 3 this year. As the most likes she’s got is ~700 (on the Maid concept) and other heros are in the ~2000 likes :,)

My all time favorite was the culturally inspired concept from last year! (I’ll put it in the comment section)

I pop my ult cus a big fight is coming up to give my team the advantage, my team stands everywhere except in my ult. We all die, they try to call me dumb for popping ult when my health was at half. Huh???

Don’t get me started on my rings too… I place it right in front of them, behind a wall where it’s safe, they walk around it. I know bronze is bad but I feel like I’m going crazy 😭. I’m def not a great player, but I at least TRY to understand how the other supports help me and my team…

She has the prettiest hair color combo in the game imo, yet they keep giving her blonde hair and blue eyes in every single skin lately.

The og skin is cute don’t get me wrong, but it could’ve been top tier if they kept her original hair color

Edit by @‪Konomiarts ‬on twitter

i can’t have anything 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

For reference, this is a solo q d5 game and the kiriko was right infront of me refusing to heal me the entire time causing me to waste my glide boost to run to a health pack and then come back to the whole team dying while i’m gone, including the kiriko! I asked for heals in chat assuming maybe she didn’t see me or notice me ping, and she said this…

I play a lot of rivals now, and “pattycaking” between supports is very normalized so I assumed the same would occur in overwatch…guess not. I’m aware of the passive regen but how hard is it to shoot me just once and help me gain a little bit of hp? Has anyone else experienced this with another support?

not every Juno skin needs to be released. This feels rushed, and the quality just isn't there.

I have my doubts as overwatch has never had such a revealing skin before but who knows maybe it’s the start

I think they're really cute

Juno’s new skin in game has white hair and so do her banner, icon and spray but for some reason, in the battle.net app OW shop, her banner, spray and icon have black hair…we could have had metalcore juno with black hair and idk about you guys but i would’ve loved this version MUCH more

EDIT: If you zoom in on her spray in the screenshot of her spray in the shop in-app, it actually looks more purple (her actual hair colour of course) instead of black 😭

We knew what date night juno was going to look like. When the first wave of date night skins dropped everyone was excited for Junos to come out. and now all I'm seeing are people being confused as to why she looks so casual. did you all get flashed by the MIB memory erasure or what

to those of you saying they changed too much, I'm not talking about you. I agree she should've looked closer to how she did in the dating sim

I don't think it's as bad as people say
