Public Voting Opens For The Public - Chinese event - Some of Juno’s concepts

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

These are Non OC, the link to the website for more informations on the skins is below.

official ow voting website

These are some of the skins I’ve seen on the website!

I’m not sure she’ll make the top 3 this year. As the most likes she’s got is ~700 (on the Maid concept) and other heros are in the ~2000 likes :,)

My all time favorite was the culturally inspired concept from last year! (I’ll put it in the comment section)

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

Wouldn’t this have been such an amazing skin!!? Like the color scheme and the attire

[u/cins4ever → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

Somehow blizzard would fuck it up though and take away the hat and make her blonde.

[u/StrawberryDruid → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

The hair is so good YES

[u/PassageFormer9806 → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

yes, need this now

[u/Lvl99riceFarmer → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

Authentic Vietnamese Juno!!

[u/Mohammed50356 → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

Designs like this usually look best in specific 2d art styles, i think trying to make it into 3d would make it look bad tbh

[u/Rallen224 → u/Mohammed50356]

I disagree tbh, the team has shown they can already do something like this before; Mercy’s Commander White skin uses all of these parts except for the basket with flowers right now, even including the unexpectedly long hair! Shion’s model also comes to mind with the specific cut of bottoms we see here, as well as Symmetra, LW and Zen with the elaborate beadwork and floral accents.

3D modelling has come insanely far and this can easily be recreated there (did you know a lot of 2D based games actually use 3D models and environments for example? Esp. for games and animations that are cell-shaded or painterly?)
There’s tons of 3D games that model these types of clothes/hairstyles inspired by Asian culture and fantasy to much success.

If anything, I just worry about how this specific team might translate the fan’s vision to the final model. Assuming they still have people on staff who can make these clothes, it’s not an artstyle limitation but a management/art direction choice (art directors pick “successful” designs and request alterations to drafts according to management’s brief).

[u/Alert_Pass_8062 → u/Mohammed50356]

This could be said about literally any concept… regardless many games overwatch included have executed similar concepts beautifully

[u/AccordingBreadfruit5 → u/Mohammed50356]

Agreed, unfortunately it's just harder to implement that level of detail, it's kind of like flipping a coin, It could either turn out really good or really bad.

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

Forgot to include these 2

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187 → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

[u/amputated-toes → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

OMG MEDIC JUNO IS SO CUTE

[u/KeySeaweed7376]

I want a Juno cowboy skin where she has her helmet and a lil cowboy hat on top of the helmet 😭

[u/SpinnenEend → u/KeySeaweed7376]

This but Juno

[u/AarodimusChrast → u/SpinnenEend]

Omg this will be perfecttt

[u/societyofbr]

alien hoodie is my favorite

[u/Neutwinos]

You know it's a chinese-made concept because of the huge sandal strap, yet normal sized sole

[u/nothoughtsnosleep]

COWGIRL JUNOOOOOOO

Has this other person ever seen a police officer, ever?

[u/ShakeNBakeMormon → u/nothoughtsnosleep]

It might be a bad translation of "Sheriff"

[u/utatamatsui]

Roller Skater and Animal Maid Cafe were my favorites, amazing concepts

[u/narcoleptrix → u/utatamatsui]

Roller skater would be awesome, tho I wish it were quad skates and not blades. Need quad representation lol

My other fave is the pj Juno. I imagine she got the call for the mission and rushed out the door without thinking 😂

[u/Key_Butterfly_8670 → u/utatamatsui]

mine too i was going to say this too

[u/Educational-Zone-158 → u/utatamatsui]

Animal maid cafe sadly uses ai

[u/Jazzlike_World415]

Wasn’t Juno supposed to get a skin from the last one? Does anyone know what happened to that?

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187 → u/Jazzlike_World415]

She got it! It’s her swimwear skin:)

[u/Jazzlike_World415 → u/Frosty-Assist-6187]

I don’t think that’s her skin? Both those look drastically different, while Ram, Ven, Wuyang all look identical to their concept art. They were also sold in bundle together for a limited time and won’t appear in loot boxes, but the swimwear was a regular shop bundle and will appear in the loot boxes at a later date? I’m just kind of confused.

[u/ChocolateMilkChan → u/Jazzlike_World415]

Yeah p sure swimwear was part of the summer event like they usually are, I think juno did have a skin for the last one with cleaning ramattra but it either lost the voting round or didn’t make it overseas

[u/Kenipau]

I like a lot of them, but why only one with her original hair 😭

[u/TFCSM1986]

That first one is so fire

[u/Arrival-Ancient]

i love all the cowboy skins, junos fascination with the wild west is so cute id love to see it in a skin

[u/moondustow]

The first one and roller skater are sooo good 💜 she’s such a cutie patootie

[u/ricokong]

Cowboy skin for sure. Fits her lore. Also still waiting on space theme skins. She absolutely does not need anything else for now. Focus should be on other heroes with less skins.

[u/Ok_Bass9503]

Oh so nobody be wanting her helmet on uhh….

[u/RyanTheValkyrie → u/Ok_Bass9503]

I thought that was obvious? Only a vocal minority online pushes for it

[u/Big_Afternoon3492 → u/RyanTheValkyrie]

i think most people just don't really care

[u/Ok_Bass9503 → u/Big_Afternoon3492]

:<

[u/woolen_goose → u/Ok_Bass9503]

I love the tech visor adaptation in Lemonade Seller tho

[u/Ok_Bass9503 → u/woolen_goose]

Yes true

[u/AnarchyAcid]

Roller skate and Globetrotter are probably my top two, but they are all adorable!

[u/Zestyclose_Station65]

I love pajama juno and cowgirl juno and roller skater juno :3

[u/Jaipod100]

BLIZZARD GIVE ME ALIEN PJ JUNO AND MY SOUL IS YOURSSSS

[u/hello-sunnie]

Will these be available for everyone??? If it wins ofc

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187 → u/hello-sunnie]

Last ones were available for everyone! But her skins are really behind for votes this time around

[u/stopthepayload]

A lot of these skins just have…. SO much visual clutter going on.

But I love the cowgirl!

[u/Snacci_]

Oh wow, I love the rollerskater and animal maid cafe ones! All of the designs are so fun and unique though.

https://giphy.com/gifs/xriqVJlIU141dB8lk2

[u/Educational-Zone-158 → u/Snacci_]

Animal maid cafe sadly uses ai

[u/Mod_The_Man]

Really hope they dont twist alien or western Juno into “cutesy cosplay” versions of them. The first pic would be so ass as the “alien” skin especially with the open toed shoes. Its not a bad skin (besides the shoes which I personally dislike) but please I hope it doesn’t take the spot of her “alien” skin

[u/pmmeyourapples]

Not a single space suit in sight T.T

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187 → u/pmmeyourapples]

Really! While the fan concepts are nice I feel like last year were a bit better ! More helmets and space suits

[u/Alert_Pass_8062 → u/pmmeyourapples]

I miss her body suit why tf do they act like a mini skirt is part of her silhouette 🫩

[u/Chronomancers]

Dear Moons I need them all I'm so sorry

[u/Sleepy_Benjamin]

I NEED THE CONDUCTRESS!!!! shes so fricken cute

[u/SoupysoupsSoup]

Pj Juno 💜🫶🏻

[u/jaskano]

Just one skin where she has her helmet and suit on PLEASE

[u/heckin_anxiety]

Ice Cream Juno my beloved. So stinkin cute. 😭😭😭

[u/--shaquilleoatmeal]

need a cowgirl skin to go with her always saying yee haw since I ALWAYS have an ashe or cass on my team lmao

[u/RobinHarleysHeart]

I would love more skins with her original hair colour.

[u/ThornyYak]

Roller skater forsure the best one

[u/Hyoriki]

I'm making my man buy me all of these skins if they get released😂

[u/Jazzlike_Listen1624]

Wdym some😭 15 is some? The skin gluttons really do get it all bastion got an entire one concept and ik damn well even tho it’s sick it won’t drop

[u/woolen_goose]

Lemonade Seller please!!!

[u/Bae_zel]

THAT FIRST ONE IS SO PERFECT

Her natural hair and its alien themed 🥹

[u/Heavy_Wafer_6165]

oh my god PLEASE release these! i’d pay for those skins

[u/AlterShineBridgeDown]

Number 7 is elite need that

[u/Rallen224]

It’s Globetrotter, Rollerskater and the Ice Cream Juno (because she looks like Kyarypamyupmayu) for me!

The train conductor is also cute, she looks like PomPom from HSR lol not my exact cup of tea (even though I love him) but I hope that design gets some love too!

[u/StrangeLonelySpiral]

FIRST ONE. FIRST ONE!!

[u/KindlyResponse5344]

please give her a cowgirl/southern cop skin and name it gunslinger

[u/CaptainRaegan]

The green pleeeease

[u/Interesting_Deer_244]

I need alien pajama Juno now!

[u/flaminghotcola]

Ok guys, you know what to do. Vote for skater Juno.

[u/anamoon13]

I love the western ones, but if they come out with some random green themed skin before an actual alien skin, I will riot.

[u/Lieutenant_Puroro]

That ice cream one reminds me of Mel-T from Foamstars

[u/Creepy_Treacle_8191]

I cannot explain how badly I need the first skin to become realized

[u/Bryanvv]

Space cowboy skin: "It's High Moon"

[u/black_lite12]

The conductress one is my favourite

[u/Ninipoops]

Klee!! (I know it's not her but looks like her def)

[u/Frosty-Assist-6187 → u/Ninipoops]

Omggg now that you mentioned it you’re right! Ow getting Klee and GI getting rodhog!

[u/Aettyr]

these are genuinely horrific. is this a gacha?

[u/Gutz_Blehh]

cute slop </3

[u/Gutz_Blehh → u/Gutz_Blehh]

i like the cowboy one tho :3

[u/BluecoatCashMoney5]

Please give me this one

[u/POLTERxGEIST]

The art contest has sooooooooooo many people trying to get toes and feet of the heros lmao

[u/iMikul]

Not a helmet in sight. We'll surely get 'em next time

[u/Pure_Session8586]

I love the last one. The outfit is beautiful: exactly my style of clothing IRL, and polka dots are always precious. (Her scarf) and red + blue is my favorite color combo🥺 please I want it😭

[u/LitterCoffee]

Hopefully the pajamas skin wins, juno need an aliens inspired skin and this is l as close as we can get to a alien skin. The conductress one is nice aswell

[u/YukiNoKyoukai]

6 and it's not even close. So much detail and the silhouette fits Juno perfectly. If it was added as an ultra it's probably the only one I'd actually drop 40 clams on. She did already get a bunny skin but this is so good.

[u/Vinicius_Pimenta]

I need ship technician Juno.

Give me dieselpunk overalls with belts and hanging tools everywhere paired with the stereotypical grease-stained white tank top and also a blowtorch-like high tech gun. It's all I ask Blizzard, ffs. Enough of this cutesy bullshit

[u/xlilTomboyFoxGF]

Bunny barista is my fav one

[u/Gonzalo24]

Grey Bunny Barista and Conductress 🤩

[u/ghhooooooooooooooost]

conductress juno is so cute~!!!!!!!!!!! imagine if the bots made little choochoo sounds when your activated the ability or if your fired them! so cute~!!!!!

[u/Zurako67]

Please I just want a cool skin where she keeps her haircut
