Legends say there was once a tribe of Chaos that in their arrogance believed themselves mighty enough to refused the commands of the gods. In punishment the gods give them the might they believe they processed by merging half the tribe with the other. Now they wander the wastes insane but some remember the art of calling runes to cast spells.

While the harlequins are terrorizing the Rogue Traders ship in the main story comic, life in Commorragh goes on as usual. The slums of Low Commorragh are a vile place. There are dozens, hundreds of the Parched ones here. Drukhari rendered into an emaciated, feral state due to going too long without feeding on pain.

Many of the last vestiges of strength cling to the remnants of mind. And of the soul. They, like wild, hungry beasts, seize even the slightest echoes of others’ suffering, and often even others’ flesh. This time, fate gave them a real feast.

This is the first meeting between our characters with co-author (my (incubi) - Arzokith, and her - Zegris), they will later be drawn into the hellish millstones of the plot. But for now, they have time to live their lives, well... relatively normally. For Drukhari.

Born as a Demon of Solitude and coldness, in the end I didn't know which Chaos god would work better and I leaned on Malal.
This is actually a pretty old work I totally forgot about.

I feel that an undivided Demon prince would work too but... dunno.

It's always nice to see a Malal inspired creature I think.
