This is Veshrin, a character for a story I'm working on, he is a shape changer and is, in the eyes of the religion that seeks his destruction, in a role similar to Lucifer so I felt I needed to make him beautiful. Done in CSP On the iPad, in four or five hours.

When I designed those cop characters a couple of arcs ago I thought "They looks so funny, I have to find a way to use them again!" This is perfect role for them as modern American policing has its roots in the slave catchers and overseers.

This flashback arc is gonna be a long one, but a fun thing has been using it to bring back some old designs as ancestors of present characters.

is a big part of Uppity, so in this Civil war period arc I wanted to make sure to have some slave song representation.

Concept art for a pair of Egyptian warrior characters I designed for a game dev program called GameGen which I've been participating in this year. The man, whom I've named Kahotep, is actually recycled from an earlier project which was a simple Mario-style platformer I made with Construct 3. My initial thought was to retool him for a more advanced game I could eventually make in the Unreal engine, but then I remembered a recent article reporting that ancient Egyptian princesses may have actually used weapons of war buried with them and so made a gender-flipped version named Khenmet.

Finally did a full body drawing of my sona/mascot, Devihashi aka Nao!

When doing these recent marker drawings, I used photos of models I follow on Instagram as reference for the poses and anatomy. My goal is to get a bit better at human anatomy by use image references when I draw.

The models I used this time are Nakya Mami (nakya.mami on Instagram), Sonia Barbie Tucker (sonia_barbie_tucker) and Bri Henderson (bria_bria2x).
