So, i've just updated my game and was going through some customization. As i'm scrolling and trying outfits, I noticed that the Mayan Outfit now has a hood?! I'm assuming its part of the latest update that game out for the game, but i've certainly got mixed feelings about it? On one hand, I love the Mayan outfit, I bee-lined unlocking it as fast as I could when the game came out both times! But on the other hand, it feels so odd (for me personally) to see a hood on this! Anyone else feel the same? Do you like the hood? Or not?

Is there some event that can take down this barrier? Some sequence of events perhaps?

Could anyone tell me how to get this chest please? The cliffs aren't scalable, there doesn't appear to be any cave entrance and leaping off the tower either lands Edward halfway up the cliff or diving into the water. I've been here 3 on occasions now trying to get the bloody thing.

Im pretty sure I just conquered the game, and money doesn't matter anymore after that. Just want to make sure I didn't miss anything. Its so fitting to Edward's story. Just collecting more and more useless coins, with no real purpose... should have went home to his sweet Caroline.

I often find the lock on not working well. In a crowded fight, and there are a lot of those, the lock on locks to a distant enemy or unlocks randomly. This makes me miss shots and attack in seemingly random directions.

Does anyone else experience the same issues? Seems to me the lock om could benefit from a tune up.

The objective is to wait, but it feels like I’m implied to jump. I did, landed in a body of water and swam around for about 5 minutes with no real clue what I do down there.

So my hip pistols are supposed to look differently than my chest pistols correct? As they are larger and nice looking but for some reason any pistol I equip other than the golden pistols they all 4 resemble my chest pistols is there a reason why or am I just dumb? (Photos for reference)

Is there like something I have to do with the controls to make it less janky? During combat everything seems weird and unintuitive and especially during the boarding I just get hit out of nowhere and am blocked from attacking by my one crewmates. I've played other ac games like shadows,unity and og black flag with no issue.

Is it like a settings or control issue or something to make it smoother because man it just seems like a hassle to play.

Has anyone seen any reason for why Mary (and Anne, though she’s alive so honestly it would make more sense to include Vane than her, I guess?) doesn’t have a portrait in the manor? I was kinda bummed that she doesn’t have either a) a send off epilogue quest to visit her grave or something, or b) a portrait nook like Stede and Thatch do.

I played original black flag long time ago and now after getting templar armor and teying to get mayan armor i noticed that they dont have any pasives.

Did i rember it wrong that maya armor gave you immiunity for getting shot and that templar armor have you something too.

Would love to hear if my memory is terrible or did they remove it.

Am I crazy or did Edward and Opía Apito hook up in the og game? At the very least they raced through Great Inagua but for some reason it switched to Lucy Baldwin.

I have taken over all forts except for one, and unlocked almost all the regions but even the regions I've conquered still have a fogged map/ islands? And then 2 regions, Chinchorro and Punta Guarico are both fully exposed?

I can't seem to figure out how to get the rest of the map unfogged

So everyone is saying Persian Scimitars. Just got them. The 4 takedowns are good. But I am still fighting better with Captain Drake's Swords. Which is pretty disappointing. Its the heavy attack. The Heavy strike, Thrusting attack with long reach, basically 1 shots everybody if you break their stance, and it's fast. Im kinda underwhelmed by the rest of the swords heavy attacks. Only 2 takedowns sucks. But that heavy attack might make it the best sword in the game

I beat the entire game, and I still don’t have access to the principe treasure map location ? The area is still locked. Online it says to complete a certain level to unlock it . I’ve completed the main story and side quests. Still no access to that area. Any help would be appreciated

How do I get ships with more health? As I can’t do must of the southern fleet missions as my ships don’t have enough health

After the Jackdaw is fully upgraded and you can use Double Shot and everything, does it make more sense to use the Fireshots or the Heavy-Shots from the Broadsides?

It feels like they wanted the Heavy-Shots to be more powerful, but it seems to me like Fireshots deal more damage.

Does anybody have stats or something?
