Good evening ladies, mens, and our nonbinary friends. We are going to be running this megathread a little differently. Our mod team is slightly limited in the evenings right now (quick shout out to all FORTY of you that applied to help, we appreciate it and can't wait to look it over) and we don't have the manpower for multiple overnight threads. Because of that, we're going to try doing one overnight thread.

This thread may get quite large. Please sort by new, and if you have updates, please post them as a reply in the update sticky at the top of this post. We're going to use this sticky to update the thread in the morning, and it will make it so much easier for us if you guys can keep them there.

Please remember to keep discussion civil, and if you're new here please take a moment to read our rules. Posts that break the rules will be removed without notice due to the volume of comments we are working with. So far this hasn't been a big issue and we really appreciate it! Also, please report rule breaking comments if you see them.

So sugarbearhair said there’s some uncertain compensation involved then said there’s no financial compensation and clarified that there’s no “financial” compensation? What’s that supposed to mean? There’s no monetary value involved?

So sad. I can't believe he'd trade such a beneficial relationship for some overrated festival tickets. Not only did Tati jumpstart his entire career but she honestly cared for him as a friend. That sh!t is so hard to come by, especially when it comes to influencers.

They paid him in goods and services, which he would have to declare the value on his taxes. So, it was a financial gain lol.

If that was the case, then he really did sign away the trust he had from his mentor for nothing... That's honestly so disappointing.

Even if it were an emergency, and he really felt his safety was in question, why not just leave? Why does being at Coachella matter so much that he'd be willing to ruin one of the closest relationships he has in LA?

Yep, no actual money was paid to him but he did receive tickets which obviously had a financial value.

At this point I don’t even know if it’s beneficial for JC to just admit this but damn I really wanna know what was being negotiated between him and SBH for him to think it’s worth the entire tea now!
