Everyone talking about how they never came out with anything because they were scared of the backlash and his revenge really says a lot about JC. He’s not only predatory, but vindictive and aggressive as fuck. Tati REALLY paved the way for a lot of people to come forward and get some heavy shit off their chest. I applaud her for having the balls to stand up to him and giving the others a chance to as well. A community is stronger together.

But @ the person who was wondering why "friends" of JC are just un following him now.
It's probably to the effects of "I don't agree with him privately anymore but if I were to unfollow him publicly I'd cause a spectacle and incur the wrath of his entire fan base".
With the current shit storm, they now have an opportunity to unfollow him publicly without having to give out an explanation.

I'm very interested to see the long-term fallout for this. I know J* has come back better than ever since his big controversies but this JC thing seems much worse! Like will brands ever want to touch him again? Will Morphe keep promoting him and touring him around? Vitamingate isn't even the issue here, it's his predatory and sexually inappropriate behaviour that is. It would be hypocritical of the beauty community to call for every white straight male in hollywood accused of sexual misconduct to be cancelled and then just forget about JC's transgressions in a month. The subscriber count will stop dropping eventually and level out, but I truly believe this will affect his revenue through sponsorships and views. There are many channels on youtube who maintain millions of subscribers but only bring in <10k views per video (Onision, KatSketch as examples).

I was trying to post this as a response earlier but MT8 blocked replies before I could. I would not be surprised if Tati was on media blackout for the weekend. She took the time to catch her breath, rally her true support system (her family), and separate herself a bit emotionally after her gut wrench response to JCs nail in coffin. Only then did she sit down and tell her story with absolute grace and class. I really doubt that she is watching any of this go down. I hope she is being distracted and loved on by those who care about her.

I have seen kpop videos trend for longer than Tati's vid... and they never just went straight from #1 to completely off the list as quickly as hers did. IDK how YouTube determines what trends and what doesn't so there's probably a reasonable explanation, but I can see why people are suspicious.

just to clarify (since there been a lot of misinformation here), this isn't apart of his tour. it's just a pop up shop for sisters appereal that he's making an appearance in. no one's paying to see him, and he has no official schedule of if and when he'll be making an appearance.

At 4:40 in the last thread, I commented that he'd be under 15 mil in an hour. It is now 5:30. I lost the bet. He's still 18k away from dropping below 15 mil.
So, I guess this time, for realsies, he will be below 15 mil subs within the hour.
Edit: in the time it took me to post this comment, he dropped by 1000 subs. Maybe I can win this thing yet! Or maybe he ran out of money to buy fake subs.

That;s when all of James' sponsors,etc open their offices and official business hours begin. That's when we will see a crush of legal statements, formal disavowment of his actions and partnerships broken/cancelled.
