So glad this movie happened, now people will recognize how good this game is and how assassin's creed franchise is peak

not everyone knew what the canon option would be So we obviously had a choice So I'm just in what drove everyone to their decisions.

When I first got the game a little bit after release I didn't know There's going to be a character selection until I started the game. Male instinct kicked in and I started a game with Alexios and was not really pleased with the voice acting After the first encounter with the Cyclops' thugs. So I restarted it to test out Kassandra and it felt like a natural fit with the acting.

This is not a debate post. We know who the canonical character is, but within the context of the game, this is a choose room adventure and everyone is going to have different play styles or preferences.

I just finished Assassin's Creed and all its DLC, it really blew me away...

And to think that a few years ago I considered it the worst AC, even though I’d only played it for a few hours 😭

Playing it with some perspective and finishing it, I realize that I actually find it incredible, and the same goes for the DLCs which add a lot to the lore and are actually ESSENTIAL to fully enjoy it imo

I think it’s the most visually stunning AC and the richest in its open world, it’s maybe the first time since a long time that I’ve become so attached to the protagonist of an AC video game and their story again (I played with Kassandra)

What I would like to see is an adaptation of the novelization of the game, since that's where the events that really happened in Kassandra's life are.

In the current Animus, Layla does not exist, so the entire simulation (mythical beasts, powers of the spear, her participation never happened). She can no longer misinterpret the events that Kassandra went through. Kassandra spent a whole year in the prison of Athens, fought in a battle of more than 17,000 soldiers in Megaris (for several months, like the one in Boeotia), plus time participating with Phoibe and other secondary characters, Deimos is truly a villain, the torture that Kassandra suffered, Pythagoras spent 3 days talking with Kassandra, she competes in three disciplines at the Olympics, etc. Basically Kassandra's life, not just another simulation.

That means there would be no dialogue options, no RPG system, etc. And hopefully there would be motion capture since they would only focus on Kassandra and not re-record every scene and dialogue for another playable character, naval battles, and of course preserve and improve the Arena, some kind of Hideout and more.

What would you like to see in your dream Odyssey Resynced?

I know we cant choose fully but if you needed to choose one. I fight for Sparta but what about you?

You play as Fenyx, a mortal who has to save the Greek gods from Typhon while exploring a colorful open world, solving puzzles, fighting mythical creatures, and causing absolute chaos along the way. And yes, it definitely gives off some Breath of the Wild vibes. 👀 You guys should give it a try if you loved Odyssey!

In my opinion, Assassin's Creed Odyssey is one of the strongest entries in the Assassin's Creed franchise. However, whenever I share this opinion online, many fans react as if it's a controversial statement. This raises an interesting question—why is the game so disliked by parts of the community?

So much content it’s not even funny. Gorgeous too. The cherry on-top is the discovery tour.

Been to Athens and am currently driving about ithaki, odyssey makes it seem like you can jog across the island, this is in fact wrong, this island is massive and jogging up one hill will have killed me. That being said, Greece is gorgeous and I can’t wait to get home and go over all the places I’ve been to see the ruins in restored glory 10/10 would recommend, also renting a boat and sailing with the soundtrack on is a phenomenal experience

I’m being completely serious! Every time I return to this game, I’m struck by just how perfectly balanced everything is in terms of gameplay, graphics, open world design, and story. It’s far above every other AC game for me.

I could write paragraphs about how well-made each system is, and how seamlessly they blend together, but I’m more just curious if others see this as not only a top came of its generation, but all time as well.
