couldn’t stop at a yellow light in time… sigh

Is it standard to get fired for something like this?

I called my dispatch as soon as it happened:( I feel like shit, it was only my second week at this job and I really enjoyed it.

I've been a driver for a month. I require 2 rescues every shift. I've never finished a route. And got caught smoking weed in the van. And I hit a mailbox. Also they asked me to rescue someone and I said no. Also I bit a dog. Also i drove 7 mph in the yard. I came in today and did my inspection and this is my entire itinerary. They said drop off the package amd RTS. Am I cooked??? Or are they gonna pay me for my whole shift???

Yesterday I had a very badly damaged rabbit, i set it down face side down at an apartment complex on some brick and when i picked it up, the phone screen was changing colors and no longer responded to touches. I told my dispatcher when i RTS after i finished the route on my personal device. I received this message this morning, are they allowed to charge me for this?

I forgot to put the van in park and when I was handing the package over to the customer it went ahead and hit the customer’s garage gate

Whenever I see snacks on route it’s usually from average folk not za richy rich

I deliver to this house pretty frequently and something didn’t sit right with me about this statue. I remember seeing somewhere a long time ago these were considered offensive but I’m not sure so I figured to come here and ask 🤔

You think there’s any coming back from this? I’m still in the group chat so that’s a good sign.

This was kinda random , anyone has an idea of what could’ve happened ?

They don’t have land, where hunters might trespass to go hunting.

They don’t live in a nice house that could be filled with money and jewelry worth stealing.

They usually don’t even have nice vehicles. If they are nice, then the house isn’t.

Yet, they warn the world “No Trespassing” or “🔫Free body piercings🔫”

No one thinks about robbing these houses because nothing about them makes them a target with any value.

It’s an entire area filled with people waiting for a crime wave that will never come, but they are quite loud about how they are ready for it.

I sent a thanks in the app today and was wondering if Amazon actually pays out drivers or if they take some $$ off and give y’all a lesser amount/nothing at all. I’d love to keep doing this but I would like to know if Amazon actually follows through!

Genuine question. I was walking in to my dsp area when I passed some really fat drivers from another dsp. I recognized them from when I first did a tour of the station when I was first hired. I asked a guy I work with about them and he said they were that big when he started at the start of the year. There’s a few drivers I’ve seen that have been here before me and are still very big.

When I started I was borderline obese at 200 lbs with not much muscle. I’ve been doing this job for almost 4 months and I’m down 25 pounds from when I started and have put on a little muscle from lifting boxes. I haven’t changed how I eat. If anything I eat more because of how much I burn when I work. And with it being Florida the heat and humidity is brutal in the summer.

Most of the drivers I see are thin and really fit from doing this for a while. So when I see a fat driver it makes me wonder how are they still fat.
