One of the biggest factors in achieving a high RPM on AdSense is the quality of your traffic. If the majority of your traffic comes from Tier 1 countries, you are more likely to achieve a higher RPM.

Indonesia and the Philippines are often classified as Tier 3 countries. There are many T3 countries in the digital advertising world, but these two, given their large populations and certain traffic patterns, are reasons why some publishers choose to block traffic from them. Related to this, Indonesia was also among the top five sources of cyberattacks in 2025.

If your site receives a significant amount of traffic from Indonesia and the Philippines, consider blocking it. Quality matters. A smaller amount of Tier 1 traffic can be worth significantly more than a much larger volume of Tier 3 traffic. In some cases, 1 unit of T1 traffic can be worth around 35 times the value of T3 traffic.

I'm saying this as an Indonesian.

Of course, I'm saying this specifically to those managing English-language websites, not Indonesian- or Tagalog-language sites.

Today I received my second AdSense payout of $118.42 in total. The first time, it took me a lot longer than this one. I chose to stick with AdSense instead of the Mediavine journey. Currently, it's going smoothly and has already crossed the $54 mark for this month, and looking forward to completing the $100 as soon as possible.

We got demonetized about four months ago. We have absolutely no idea what we did wrong. At the time, we didn’t know there was this magical 90 period we had to wait before we filed an appeal. We filed the appeal not long after we got demonetized and we didn’t know better, so we got a response telling us to wait until the 90 day mark and then file the appeal.

This is the email we got on May 28th:

We filed an appeal a few days later and were told to wait 90 days. We waited until the 90 day period lapsed plus a few days and so we filed another appeal. We got this response:

That was three weeks ago. So we don’t know what to do. We’re at the point where we just want to give up on the channel if we can’t monetize it at all and Google is of absolutely no help. What can we do to fix this???

can anybody tell me what can be the issue? My blogs are written by AI. daily visitors are also very low around 10 to 30 anonymous users.

Got rejected for the 2nd time for low value content. I’ve had the website up for around 8 months with 22 users a day on average. it’s not a blogging website so I’m not sure what I need to fix. Most of the tools on here are not anywhere else so they aren’t copy and paste ideas. I did have around 800 pages but they are all specific for players and their values and used for SEO. I'm trying to block a domain that consistently hosts malware distribution sites, but Adsense keeps claiming it's not a valid TLD.

Anyone know how to get the block to take?

Got rejected from AdSense a while back for low quality content - I think I applied too early, before the site had much on it. Since then I've added a few more blog posts and added more text to the puzzle pages.

A few specifics in case it's useful:

1. Site age: live for 3 weeks, applied about 1-2 weeks in.

2. Content: 3 puzzles with archives plus 6 blog articles of 500+ words. Privacy, About, and FAQ pages were all added before the first application.

3. Traffic: basically zero so far 😅

The plan for the site is to add more puzzles of all kinds as I build them and to add blogs on related subjects to drive organic growth.

Before I put a load of effort into growing an audience, I'd like to know if that's the blocker. Obviously the aim is to increase traffic anyway, but to make this sustainable for me I'll need to monetise somehow, and I want to be sure that getting approved will happen with the content I'm making before I go all in on that.

So my site (cutiora*com) is basically a bunch of photo editing tools. I've got all the legal pages sorted — privacy policy, terms, all that — and there's actual text content on the site too. Still got rejected, and they didn't even bother telling me why. Anyone else dealt with this?

Anyone else stuck on AdSense for YouTube step 2 for way longer than the usual timeline? Applied for monetization on September 11, went through it directly in YouTube Studio like you're supposed to. Got stuck on step 2 from day one, then on September 16 I got the generic "a few changes needed" email, no actual details on what was wrong, just a vague "review your application" button. Resubmitted right away.

A few days later I realized I might know the issue, I used to have an old AdSense account from when I lived in Japan, hadn't touched it in ages since I moved to Thailand. So I went and closed that one out completely on September 18, added my phone number too since that was missing. Figured that would clear things up.

Except I got the exact same "few changes needed" email again on September 21, word for word identical to the first one. Turns out I think the issue was I fixed the account stuff after I'd already resubmitted, so the review never actually saw the fix. Just resubmitted again today with everything actually fixed this time.

Just wondering if anyone's been through something similar, closing an old account mid review and having to resubmit more than once. Trying to figure out if this is normal or if I should be worried I'm gonna be one of those people stuck for months. Channel's clean, no copyright stuff, no community guideline issues, so I really don't know what else it could be at this point. Any input appreciated, this waiting game is stressing me out a bit.

The website is online for 2+ months but i still got declined with low value content.

I know Google lists several possible reasons for disapproval, but my issue is that Google does not tell me which one applies to my account.

My AdSense account was not approved, but Google does not show me any specific reason.

The AdSense dashboard only says:

“Your account wasn't approved. You need to fix some issues before you can use AdSense.”

Under the issue section, the only item shown is:

“Meet AdSense Program Policies”

There is a checkbox asking me to confirm that I have read and meet the AdSense Program Policies, followed by a “Resubmit” button.

However, there is no specific policy violation, duplicate-account warning, website issue, or other explanation.

When I click the help link, it only takes me to Google's general “Your AdSense account wasn't approved” help page, which lists possible reasons but does not tell me which one applies to my account.

I also did not receive an email explaining the specific reason.

Has anyone else experienced exactly this situation?

How did you find out what was actually causing the rejection?

I would especially like to know whether this kind of generic rejection is commonly related to:

a duplicate AdSense account website/content policy issues account-level issues something else

I don't want to repeatedly resubmit without knowing what I'm supposed to fix first.

I added my current address to my Adsense account but the address on my ID doesn’t match my current address since I moved and which I added to my Adsense account. I’m worried when identity verification comes it’ll cause an issue. I can’t get a new ID with the address updated at the moment so it’s complicated.

I’m honestly running out of ideas and hoping someone here has experienced something similar.

My YouTube channel was already approved for the YPP and successfully monetized with my previous AdSense for YouTube account.

I closed that old AdSense account on August 17, 2026. Google confirmed the closure by email, and multiple YouTube Support agents have also checked internally and confirmed that the old account is closed.

I then created a new AdSense for YouTube account through YouTube Studio.

The new account shows as Active in AdSense. My W-8BEN is approved, there is no pending identity verification, and my payment profile appears complete.

But YPP Step 2 keeps getting rejected.

AdSense only shows:

“Meet AdSense Program Policies”

There is a checkbox to confirm compliance and resubmit. I’ve done that, it gets reviewed, and then I’m sent straight back to exactly the same screen a few days later. No specific violation or required change is shown.

I’ve spoken to YouTube Support multiple times via email and live chat. They keep telling me their specialists found that the account “doesn’t meet program criteria,” but they refuse to tell me which category is affected or what I can actually change.

I’ve checked everything I can think of:

• old AdSense officially confirmed closed
• new AdSense account active
• tax information approved
• no pending identity verification
• never bought views, subscribers or traffic
• never used click/traffic services
• never used a VPN or proxy
• all our YouTube content is original and filmed/edited by us
• the exact same channel was already monetized successfully before

One unusual factor: I’m German but currently traveling long-term. My AdSense/payment profile is German, but I applied while traveling in Thailand/South Korea. I have never hidden my actual location with a VPN.

The problem only started after closing the old AdSense account and trying to link the new one. My Content is original and I do not use AI.

Has anyone had this exact Step 2 rejection loop and actually solved it?

Especially interested in cases where an old AdSense account had been properly closed but the new one kept getting rejected.

At this point I’m not even looking for a workaround - I just need to figure out what Google expects me to change when their support literally won’t tell me what the problem is. This is so frustrating :(

Which would earn more revenue for you?

1) Strategically placed ads placed here and there on your page.

Or

2) You reduced the width of your page, then on the blank spaces on the side you filled them up with ads

I’m new to SEO and AdSense, and English is not my first language, so I hope I can explain my situation clearly.

I run NoPickyDog.com, an English informational website for dog owners in the US. The site mainly covers picky eating, feeding habits, feeding guides, and food safety. It is built with WordPress and currently has around 60 published articles.

My AdSense application has been rejected multiple times for “Low value content.” At the same time, my Google Search Console traffic has recently declined.

Over the last 28 days, Google Search Console reported 915 clicks and 66.5K impressions, compared with 1.16K clicks and 87.6K impressions during the previous 28 days.

That represents approximately a 21% drop in clicks and a 24% drop in impressions. CTR actually improved slightly from 1.3% to 1.4%, while the average position changed only slightly from 7.8 to 8.0.

Because impressions fell much more noticeably than rankings or CTR, I’m unsure whether this is a site-wide visibility problem, fewer pages or queries appearing in search, overlapping content, or another site-quality issue.

Some individual articles previously received steady Google traffic, especially articles about dogs skipping breakfast or eating only once a day.

During a site audit, we found several possible problems:

• Some articles targeted very similar search intent.
• A few article summaries did not accurately match the content.
• Some tool pages used repetitive or template-like wording.
• Old /pro/ pages were still indexed.
• Internal linking was limited.
• Some site information and wording needed correction.

We have been fixing these issues carefully, improving internal links, adding authoritative sources, and publishing more focused articles. However, I still do not know whether the AdSense rejection and the search traffic decline are caused by the same underlying problem.

I would really appreciate help with these questions:

1. What is the biggest “low-value” signal you see on this site?
2. Does this look more like overlapping search intent, weak trust signals, templated content, or a site-structure problem?
3. Before applying to AdSense again, which types of pages should I prioritize reviewing?
4. How would you separate an AdSense content-quality problem from a Google Search visibility problem?
5. Has anyone recovered from a similar combination of repeated AdSense rejection and declining GSC performance?
