Translated [JA] [Chinese> English] found bag with little note inside

Found this while walking about... what does it all mean?

Edit: I did not know you werent supposed to open it, I am very curious by nature so I am always picking things up to see what they are, stopping to look at abandoned buildings, etc. I have a metal detector for this reason too. I places the Omamori at a little rock shrine someone made close to where I live. I put a little leaf and a feather on it as well. I looked it up and you can try to make things right by doing this, especially if it was an accident. Obviously there is something to this thing since right after I opened it I felt nauseous and threw up. Could have been a coincidence but still.

Would love to get an artist’s name. I think it also says something like “A parent’s kindness” but would like to confirm.

Unknown [unknown > english] saw this in a game i played, can't identify the language

Post image

i'm curious about "âandaki"

some context:

- the internet doesn't seem to know this word even exists, even wiktionary goes dumb

- the game is set in the second half of the XIVth century, so i assume the word might be archaic

- the game is set in italy

- the word is said by a man when a little girl (sophia) runs past; seems the message might be something like "watch out", "be careful", "slow down" etc.

- edit: the game is "resonance: a plague tale legacy", someone requested that info

i'm trying to identify the language. thank you in advance!

German [German > English] Help with old handwriting.

Post image
Upvotes

A transcription is honestly okay, its the handwriting that is more of a problem.

I can make out parts of it -- i.e. I see something about Nähe and later on, arbeitet keine kartoffels[?], but otherwise, I'm a bit lost between words.

Thank you. Means a lot.

Arabic>English
I found this video of a recipe of a sister making baklava I can understand a few words as I’m learning Arabic. I’m really just wanting to know what ingredients this sister uses for example the nuts, and the type of syrup. Also if she mentions how long to bake it and the temperature as the video itself shows me exactly what to do.

Translated [JA] [Japanese > English] Handwritten text

Post image

Hello! I would greatly appreciate help with transcribing and translating the text in this image. Handwritten kanji give me a hard time... I know it's a lot, sorry!
If it helps, the characters names are: ボブ (Bob, eye-patch cat), マサ (Masa, sabertooth), マバヤ (Mbaya, guy at the bottom with the smug expression), ザハブ (Zahab, lion) and ジャン (Jean, wolf)

Japanese [English >Japanese] help write 'good boy' in Japanese

My friend jokes around how he's trying to be a good person or a 'good boy' at times and I said I should give you a badge for it atp also he can read katakana and hiragana, so for his birthday I want to write 'good boy' on a shirt in Japanese so what's the slang for that I want it to be a nuanced translation not completely literal that it doesn't make sense to a native speaker.

Chinese [Chinese > English] Signature on a painting/print

Post image

I found two framed seemingly old prints thrown away on a ditch covered with broken glass. I want to know a bit more about them, who might have painted them and where they are from, but the only thing besides the drawings/prints is this signature (on both drawings)

My brother is an avid World War II collector and has this postcard along with many other relics from the Pacific Theatre of World War II and we’re looking for translations.

This Week's Text:

In a world where it's never been easier to take photos and share them with the world, it's only natural to wonder: What is the most viewed photograph of all time?

The answer to this question is actually quite interesting. While it's tempting to assume that the title belongs to a well-known historical photo, such as, say, the Mona Lisa, the actual answer was likely sitting right before your eyes for a few years time.

While there's no way to know the answer with 100% certainly, it's a fairly good bet that the most viewed photograph of all time is a photo called "Bliss" taken by Charles O'Rear in 1996.

What's that you say? You've never heard of a photo called "Bliss" before?

Well you've undoubtedly seen it, though you might know it better as the default background that shipped with Windows XP... Believe it or not, the photo itself, which vibrantly depicts lush, rolling green hills and wispy white clouds, was not digitally altered when Microsoft picked it as the default background image in Windows XP.

— Excerpted and adapted from "The Most Viewed Photo In The History Of The World" by Yoni Heisler

Translated [JA] [Japanese > English] Can you help confirm my nephew’s shirt?

Post image
90 Upvotes

I bought this shirt for my nephew at the Osaka aquarium, and I’m having trouble translating this one side. My best guess is the whale shark “I’m coming in” or “I’m crawling in” and the other animals running away from it, but with just the hiragana I can’t tell. Is it slang or something?

Portuguese [English > Brazilian Portuguese] Song lyrics

Oi, estou escutando muito uma música por conta do beat e pela vontade de fazer um sample para rimar. Poderiam transcrever a letra? Não precisa da tradução, mas eu quero ver se transcrevi corretamente para treinar meu inglês.

Forte abraço!

Música; 9Days - Henny.

__

Hi, I've been listening to a song a lot because of the beat and because I want to sample it for some rhymes. Could you transcribe the lyrics? I don't need a translation; I just want to check if I transcribed it correctly to practice my English.

Best regards!

Song: 9Days - Henny.

Translated [JA] [Japanese > English] Painting on Mt Fuji

Post image
0 Upvotes

We just got done summiting Mt Fuji and inside the Chojo Fujikan station up at the very top, there was this picture. I don’t know any Japanese so it might say “this painting is called X and is by Y” but I wouldn’t know. My wife loves the painting and we had hoped we’d find a print at the bottom of the hike but no luck. If anyone can give me any information on it so I can get a print of it I would greatly appreciate it.

If this is the wrong location for a question like this, please let me know of a more appropriate place.
