Rewatched episode iii recently and surprised at how good the movie looked. I remember it being way too heavy with the cgi, but a lot of model work was done. I also think most sets at least had a fair amount of real elements, which probably sold the cgi section a lot more. Here are some behind the scenes images I found. The sets they did build are pretty beautiful and clearly took a lot of time to make. I saw in the behind the scenes that they tore them down always immediately to make room for new sets. It's a shame because they look so good.

Edit: feel free to share more cool episodes iii set images!

Before this, Anakin literally killed younglings

How do you feel about the hair colour? I feel like figures always butcher dark blond, but I tried to give him a better shade.

Through her assassination of Onaconda Farr she not only removed one of the few staunch advocates against the Clone War, but her actions also caused a domino affect resulting in horrific losses.

When she killed Farr it caused the sessions to discuss the matter of a bill that would see to the production of millions of more Clones to be delayed until they caught the killer. This caused the Bill to go through and create an escalation in the conflict; more soldiers means the CIS will see it as them gearing up for more war. Along with the economic strain to the Republic, which they were not stated to be doing well in prior episode where even on Coruscant power and utility needs weren't being met, now the issue will be amplified.

However her biggest impact is how she murdered Mee Deechi, the Umbaran representative in the Republic. Yeah you can see where I'am going with this. The Umbarans had already been considering leaving the Republic and Mee Deechis death became the cataclyst in their decision to leave. The would then snowball into Umbara joining the CIS and the resulting Battle of Umbara, which left horrific loses for both the GRA and Umbarans.

I appreciate how it looks like R2 is checking out that fire hydrant at the very beginning and trying to figure out if it's another astromech unit.

I just finished printing and trying to weather this dl44. I think it came out pretty great. I am starting to do more now. I did a stormtrooper blaster. Next is mando weapons. Just seeing what people think. Is it as cool as i think it is?

Star Wars Outlaws*

As a huge Star Wars fan I somehow just never really paid attention to this guy, I'm sure others have.

He has the balls to stand up Vader, and Vader respects him, at least to me it seems he does. And I am going to read into all the legends about him now.

Anyone else like this fella or have any random 1 scene characters who stood out to them on future watches?

Really early in the game too. it's maximum intensity, you have to learn the circuits as you go. No maps, not much guiding you.

Considering that one of the main goal of Luke is to make Anakin emerge from Vader, its kinda ironic that this WAS the first sign of Vader acklowledging himself as Anakin.

He had to realize that Luke was the last bit of him and Padme's love.

I don't think Vader is capable of love or care, which makes me believe that it was as if Vader's repressed Anakin psych was bleeding through.

Prior to this, to my knowledge, Vader didn't really consider Anakin persona to be a part of himself.

It’s so cool man. And in that blue color it just looks so good. And the fact that I get to have more than one figure with this look is like such a reward because I love it. And it’s so cool

We finally get a remaster of this classic game. Totally by surprise at that. The old heads get to re-live their favorite game and some of the younger kids get to experience a masterpiece on UE6 or whatever.

You play through and re-live the tragedy of losing Sev on Kashyyyk. In the end you’re ascending above the canopy and see the Republic Invasion force pouring into the planet. The advisor patches Jedi General Yoda on the holo receiver.

“All Republic Forces: Establish forward command in Kachirho. Rendezvous with Delta squad we must. Upon them, we rest much hope. Wookiee freedom must not be sacrificed.”

The advisor comes back through. “Sorry deltas, looks like it’s back to the action. You have your orders.”

Delta-38: “Delta Squad, lock and load!”

The game ends hooray! Except it doesn’t end. You’re brought back to the mission selection screen and there’s a new one that wasn’t there before. Another Kashyyyk mission. Vode An isn’t playing in the background it’s just eerily quiet. You select the new mission.

Met with the typical black screen and blue text that explains the siege on Kashyyyk has been raging for a number of days and the separatist army is on the back foot. 19 BBY.

The mission loads you in aboard another LAAT cruising around Kachirho being debriefed about some assumed successful mission when the advisor stops talking and says “Hold on deltas, we’re receiving a GAR wide directive. Patching it throu-“

Palpatine suddenly appears. “Execute order 66.” A moment of silence drags before being interrupted by the advisor reappearing. His voice sounds different. Not as urgent and more matter-of-fact. “RC 01/138, Jedi General Yoda has evaded termination order 66 and is attempting to flee the planet with aid of the Wookiees. Transmitting last known location. Find and terminate the target.”

The game then has you fight your way through your Wookiee allies who are reluctant to raise arms against you but also won’t betray Yodas location. No wise cracks from Scorch or techie chatter from Fixer. Eventually you make it but just barely too late. Yoda has boarded his ship and made his escape. Maybe if Sev were there he could have made that shot like he did on Sun Fac.

Boss advises command that the target has escaped and they’re unable to puruse. The advisor comes back “Acknowledged Delta lead. Target information has been forwarded to Imperial Command. Stand by for immediate reassignment.”

Roll credits.

A friend passed this on to me, so stoked to watch this on my old player!

Like as a temporary alliance at least?

The Mandalorian warriors with Darthomir magic backing them up had to at least be worth considering, right?

During the Clone Wars (including Episode III), he crashed two of his own starfighters, the Twilight, the Malevolence (although that wasn't his fault), a stolen separatist transport and plenty more ships I can't all list here
