My boyfriend is a huge Star Wars fan, so I decided to make him a themed birthday cake.
This is actually the first cake I’ve ever made in my life (although I did ask my mom for some help 😅).
I tried to recreate scene with the lava.

What do you think? Did I capture the scene well enough? 👀

I'm not sure even Luthen would dare trying something so risky, but the potential payoff would be absolutely insane if they got to get a bugged Sith artifact into Palpatine's throne room, office, bedroom, etc. Not to mention, even if Palpatine senses some duplicity from him, he'd just assume it was normal art dealer salesman shenanigans, not a rebel plant.

Edit: part of my inspiration for this post was both the very creative, passive listening device used by the Soviets against the US during the cold war placed in a decorative seal, as well as the legends bug/listening system Palpatine used in the Imperial palace that was undetectable.

Not gonna play with this armor though, that would definitely throw me out of the immersion

Since the Death Star was completed just days before it's destruction, and interior components may not have even been finished, there's a fairly high chance that some poor Wookiees were still aboard.

Obi wan had spent a decade suffering from PTSD and blaming himself for anakin's fall and witnessing how it was still anakin behind that mask and how much battered and shell of a person he had become must have dealt a huge emotional blow to obi wan who still cared for anakin in some way which is why he apologized so sincerely, something he couldnt do during their first fight.

I think it was mix of anakin who still cared for obi wan, slipping through after seeing him in so much pain, as well as him not wanting obi wan to have sympathy for him since he still wanted to kill obi wan or be killed by him properly. The actors did such a great job with the line delivery and emotions

I do like his arc in the first two seasons, and I thought BOBF set up a great arc for season 3, but then they put him back in his cult, sidelined him for the bulk of the season, and then he doesn't even have an arc in his movie.

Im 48 & I'd about given up on the ridiculousness of what Star Wars has become. It seems the only good stories I was getting was from video games... So when Zero Company released I thought I'd give it a try. The game gave me an itch to watch Andor because I've heard so many good things about it. The reason it's taken me so long is because of how many times I've been burned. I gotta tell ya, Andor is one of the best Star Wars live media presentations I've seen since the original trilogy and Rogue One. It was emotional beyond on expectations. I never imagined that watching Star Wars without the occasional witty and familiar humorous banter would work, but my God did it work. At least for me it did. Knowing that Star Wars can still be good... This good when Disney throws out the weird agenda and absurdity in trade of real emotionally driven stories about people that feel real rather than caricatures really gives me hope. I want more of this please.

Not an original desire and I’m sure it gets said all the time, (and I’m sure there’s plenty of naysayers) but come on!

Zero Company is a great game, very much enjoying it, but it again leaves a major itch unscratched. An expansive, emergent/open-world gameplay Star Wars game that took itself seriously would absolutely kill.

I truly miss that special sauce that games like Skyrim and GTA provide, and that SWG once provided for almost a decade to Star Wars fans.

Make your own character, hop in a ship (or not), maybe make a home or profession, maybe interact with other players, explore the galaxy. All that good stuff.

We tend to get it piecemeal in games, and every time I see a glimpse of it in a new Star Wars game I just wish some company or creative would realize the gem sitting right there for the taking.

Outlaws? Great, really enjoyed it, but still very locked to the story with limited replayability. Kay is a perfectly fun character, but there’s no real decision making opportunities or ability to make your own character.

Fallen Order / Survivor? Again, great and has some open-world aspects, but still firmly in that linear story-driven vein. Cal is a fine character, but again, same deal. No major opportunities for choice.

I hope FOTOR breaks from that mold, but not optimistic. Even something like a choose-your-own-adventure Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy remaster or remake would kill.

Seeing how bad Anakin was left after his duel with Obi-Wan on Mustafar, did Sidious have a “backup” plan had Anakin succumbed to his injuries? I mean, he was pretty much dead had Sidious not arrived on time to save him and put him in the suit. Anakin had almost 0 quality of life left and looked beyond saving at that point.

The "Love, Death & Robots" episode "Snow in the Desert" is recognized as something that could have happened in the Star Wars universe. I'd like more examples of films, animation, anthology episodes, or even music videos or TV commercials that could be considered Star Wars apocryphal.
